Bathroom was disgusting, dried urine around the toilet, hair in the tub and sink. The tub was old, stained and disintegrating. Corners of the ceiling had cobwebs and around the corners of the room, there were cobwebs and debris covered the carpet. Obviously, hasn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Will never stay here again.

I had no problem until the next morning at 7:30 the maid service knocked to see if we were still in room. continued every half hour. at ten am received a call from front desk saying the maid service was done with all rooms and needed to know when we were leaving. check out was at 11 am. Not happy being bothered continually way before check out. almosted harassed to check out.

This place use to be a Best Western and it was Ok but now it’s called the Deluxe Inn. It’s so old and tired looking. Beds were comfortable but the breakfast was bananas and cereal bar and nasty coffee. Do not come here unless you’re on a tight budget and just need a place to sleep. I will never come back here again.

This is an affordable and excellent hotel with great staff. I was nervous about booking there since it is a bit off the beaten path (still very close to gas & food), but was pleasantly surprised at the affordability and good condition of the site! Really appreciated the fact that the close proximity of the highway didn't result in hearing traffic all night long.

1ice machine has been broken for about 2 years. Now the other machine is broken causing you to have to go to front desk and ask for ice, hoping someone is up there and they have some. Requested and was granted a late checkout for 12:00 instead of 11:00 but was still awoken by cleaning crew banging on our door at 9:00. It was a late night the night before and we needed to sleep in, thus the late checkout. Ridiculous!

Convenient location, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable, bathroom seemed clean and shower worked fine. The \"breakfast\" was ridiculous - a tiny 12 pot carafe of coffee that was empty, a few cereal towers, sad little wrapped muffins and bowls of granola bars. Thankfully there are a good amount of restaurants nearby that filled the gaps. I would stay again, but don't have high expectations of the amenities.

Dirty rooms. Ac didne work. We booked and paid for Queen beds but stuck our family in a room with double beds in a very hot room. Asked to be moved to another room n wax told there is no other room. Requested again and tried to put us in a room that had vomit all over the floor. I'd attach a picture if I could. They said they would compensate for some if this but it would only be 10 dollars. Ain't worth my time. Please avoid this dirty place.

Property was not as described, pool was npt open and hasnt been open in some time. Breakfast was not as pictured or described, just cereal, and prepackaged muffins. Coffee was old and cold. Rooms were minimal clean with the smell of the previous guests. Beds were to be expected but were bug free. Tv kept loosing signal. Building is in need of an update and surrounding area is minimal with nothing to really offer the eyes.

If you are diabetic, do not stay here for the breakfast. I took my insulin then went to eat, and there were large warming dishes, but empty and turned off. Front desk said “It’s just a continental breakfast,” which consisted of—not joking—3 kinds of cold cereal, a bowl of bananas, Quaker oatmeal and cheap muffins. That is all, nothing but sugar and starch. We had to hurry and leave to get me some protein before my sugar bottomed out. Bed was comfortable and place was clean but had 70’s decor with peeling walls.

The staff was amazing and never did bother me too much but just enough and i was there for almost 2 weeks, the hotel was EXTRAORDINARILY clean AND quite , i stayed in 3 different rooms on both sides of the botel and never once experienced any bugs or bug bites! Sheets, blankets pillows and even the matresses\" themselvs were stain and spot free!! The only thing i can say thats slightly negative aboht the place or the stay is breakfast absolutely sucked!! If their was pancakes and waffles then their was nothing else but cereal. If their was oatmeal abd yogurt and toast of course always cereal as well then their was no waffles or pancakes . They appeared to have the equipment for a hot true real continental breakfast but never had one and honestly i i want to say it was primarily becaue the morning staff was lazy ..other than that this sta was amazing, comfortable and would 100% recommend Deluxe Inn for your stay if youre going to Wytheville virgjnia!

I have stayed once a year here for the last 4 years, but I will not be back. The rooms are looking shabby and the breakfast was not good at all (cereal and milk). The first room they gave us was not cleaned and smelled horribly of urine. The second smelled like smoke. Lights in the hallway didn't work, the toilet wasn't secured to the floor and the shower had huge paint chips.

Not the best kept place. Rusty panels all over. Walls are so thin the two cackling women next door kept us up it was so loud. And breakfast??? Cold cereal and pretend orange juice (orange drink) and bread to make toast, and packaged blueberry muffins.

We were there a year ago and they were a Best Western and weren’t bad. Now they’re a no name moving towards being a Comfort Inn, and the place has gone down a lot in one year.

Probably won’t be back.

We got this room for a cheap rate. The room and property were old but clean. Bed was comfortable enough but not a 5 star. Good for a late check in, sleep and leave early in the am. The check in lady was very friendly and lovely. The worst part was the breakfast. The booking told of a full hot breakfast. There was nothing hot. The waffle mix was questionable with goopy mix and globs of oil and water. The “orange juice” was Sunny D, the peanut butter was from an open jar that everyone had put utensils (double dipped?) and possible fingers in it. There was no bread, muffins and only a couple lonely bananas for fruit. Cereal was borderline stale. Breakfast was skipped to say the least. Would give 0/5 based on breakfast, 3/5 based on room.

Low cost but almost empty...

Breakfast was the barest minimum during the week, which was not disclosed prior to reservations, or even after arrival. The standard hotel continental breakfast is only served on weekends. We were offered bread, cereal and waffle mix. The waffle iron did not cook the waffles all the way which made the half raw waffles inedible. Nothing else was offered. Very disappointing, especially because we choose this hotel because it offered a breakfast. But it was the lack of communication that pissed me off. Had I known, we would've planned breakfast elsewhere and made time for it.

Very few cars in the parking lot, so few guests. When it came time to check out, no staff could be found. After waiting nearly 20 minutes, we had to leave our room keys with the maid in order to make our appointment.

We are in 128. My husband had to wipe the nightstand it was filthy. The rug needs vacuumed esp. in the corners. The hot water machine was out of order. Water should have been provided to heat up in the microwave for tea or to make oatmeal. Set a gallon out, just saying it's out of order is poor management. I went to the desk twice & asked for water for guests. Reluctantly 2 bottles of water were provided. Good management would have had water set out for the guests use for tea or oatmeal.
I'm aware this is an older building it can still be clean. The mattress cover sheet has dried blood...totally unexceptable. This is our first & last stay here.

I did not stay at the property after previewing the room. There was broken glass in the parking lot and no lighting inside the back entry doorway. A trash bag and other items were left by the door. A distinct smell of mold and mildew was in the hallway and room. Front desk clerk was outstanding and cancelled the reservation. The outdoor front entrance was also very dark.

The room was nice and bathroom spacious. Beware, the hotel indicates breakfast, but NOT on weekdays, only on weekends. Should be disclosed on site. Also, when booking online the price was $9 higher than if you pay at the hotel. A little disappointing.

It is okay.

This appears to be a family owned and operated location. I arrived in the early evening and could not enter the carport to unload my car because other vehicles were there. I soon found that they were not the vehicles of customers, but of the staff - who left them there all night. Doesn't seem like a concern for customer experience.

While 3 staff were around the desk when I walked in, and one customer ahead of me being helped, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged while more than 5 minutes passed.

Breakfast is minimal, but fine (and honestly the best tasting make-your-own waffle I have tasted when compared to more expensive location).

I wasn't aware that this location let dogs stay.
