Very bad experience. Rundown hotel needs renovation ASAP. Worst part was at arrival they assigned me to the 700s building and when walked all the way there door key did not worked. Did not even showed red light like it was shutdown. After a second walk to the front desk and back, still not possible to get into the room. After 1 hour finally somebody came and check, confirm door keys in the entire floor were not working and mentioned room will be chanced. I told the person I will be in the restaurant having dinner and after all of that I had to go back to the front desk and get a new room in the 600s building. I will not recommend statying here unless they promtly renovate and improve the entire hotel.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we discovered that the comforter on our bed had red stains resembling blood, along with dark stains that appeared as though someone had walked on the bedding with their shoes. We immediately notified the front desk, and housekeeping removed the comforter. We were then informed that no replacement comforters were available, and for the next two days we were left with only sheets.

We also encountered cockroaches in the room, which we reported to the front desk at the same time as the bedding issue. We were told that the room had recently been fumigated. When we requested to be moved to another room, we were advised that the hotel was at 100% occupancy. However, when I checked the hotel’s website, I was able to see that at least 10 rooms were available for booking that same day. This strongly suggests that management was aware of the infestation and chose to misrepresent availability rather than relocate us.

Additionally, every time we left the room and returned later in the day, our key no longer worked. Each day required a trip to the front desk to have the key reissued, which became both inconvenient and frustrating.

Due to these ongoing issues, we checked out early from both of our rooms on January 3rd and moved to a different hotel. I later contacted the rooms manager, Jose De Jesus, to request a refund for the unused nights after explaining the numerous problems we experienced. The only resolution offered was

Well I like the hotel but do not like the fact that it cost more to get a room with a king bed than a room with 2 queen beds. Also my view was not that nice. Would have liked to had been on the top with the city view. Also a free breakfast would be nice. Just a suggestion.

The hotel could be espectacular but it is not. The location, the view, the pool, and the restaurant are beautiful. However it seems like management has decided to just let it die a slow death. No up keeping has been done in a while. The water in our shower would not drain, the door to enter the room would no work etc. The breakfast was delicious, specially the quesadillas and “picaditas”.

The rooms were semi clean, they need to improve in cleaning beddings and shower towels by washing away stains. Also, the keys kept deactivating during my stay, I would recommend changing the door locks. Since they looked as if they were too old and rusty.

The hotel is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Greater Guadalajara area. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The hotel appears to not have been renovated in quite some time and is a bit \"rustic\". The staff here was quite attentive to our needs, especially the restaurant staff. I should note that due to the secluded nature of the hotel, you are pretty much dependent on the restaurant for your dining. The food prices are reasonable. The pool is large and was clean, however it does need maintenance as there are many missing tiles. All in all, what the property lacks is terms of being in tip-top shape is offset by the peacefulness and outstanding service. Keep in mind, the cost per night here is at least 20% less than what you will pay for a Motel 6 in the US. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is a good choice. It is approximately 6 or 7 miles from the city center. We Ubered when we went to see the city. Uber rides are very reasonable in Guadalajara, about $5 - $7 USD per ride. Taxis are the only transportation allowed into the airport. A taxi ride to and from the airport was approximately $22 USD ($400 MXN). We were in Guadalajara for one week for a wedding and our trip was great! The people were friendly, helpful, and we felt safe the entire time.

The views were really nice, the area is green giving it a forest like feel and it was quiet. The room was hard to get to, the hotel rooms are spread out thoughtout the property that had condos and private homes in between. Signs are hard to read and you can easily get lost, especially at night.The property is not walkable due to the many hills and how spread out the rooms are. If you book a room in the back of the property, good luck getting there without a car, since it might be a few blocks away all up hill from the reception area. The accessibility is terrible, the few ADA ramps avaliable did not go through all the way to the rooms and were poorly constructed. It felt very unsafe if you use an assistive devise for ambulation.There were no elevators that I could see. If you have mobility issues or are carrying large luggage this is not the place for you. Too many steep stairs to get to your room. The rooms were ample but aging and many things were either not working or in disrepair. One of closet doors did not work, the door was stuck. Even the staff delivering room service couldn't open it. The bathroom door was hanging on for dear life. The door was falling apart due to possibility too much moisture or termites. The towels provided were a dingy white, some were frayed and hard. I might sound spoiled but they felt more like rags I would use to wash my car instead of hotel room towels. Overall the stay was ok, I would probably come back but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Llegamos media hora antes de las 3:00 pm que es cuando se supone que deberíamos hacer check in y nos dijeron que no tenían el pago de nuestra habitación, tuve que mostrar los cargos a mi tarjeta de crédito porque ellos no lo tenían reflejado en su sistema, ya pasadas las 3:00 pm nos dieron la habilitación, llegando a esta, había un plato con restos de comida de otro huésped en mitad del pasillo y otro más en la puerta de nuestra habitación.

La habitación tiene un olor a humedad y a viejo, muebles rotos y raspados, el sofá en pésimas condiciones, el aire acondicionado no servía, solo había ruido y aire caliente. El toilet tapado al igual que la coladera de la regadera, no había secadora para el cabello y tampoco toallas para secarnos, tuve que llamar en tres ocasiones para que me las enviaran, no me avisaron que las dejaron, solo las dejaron en la puerta y se fueron, por cierto toallas viejas, rasposas y rotas.
Si tienen la oportunidad de ir, desaprovéchenla, no vale la pena, no van a descansar y mucho menos a relajarse si es lo que están buscando.

PD: la alberca es lo único rescatable, aun que el piso de esta se está cayendo a pedazos, te encuentras los azulejos por todos lados.

I am very disappointed with our stay at this property. When we arrived we were given a room where the ac was not working. We had to switch rooms very late at night because maintenance couldn’t fix it. We were not given keys to the new room. The next day our room was not cleaned, we called reception to provide us the amenities such as clean, towels, toilet paper, water. We were told someone would bring it to our room in 15 minutes. An hour passed and nobody came. We spent the night with no toilet paper in an unclean room. During our check out I brought these concerns to the receptionist and she said she would let management know. However, I don’t know if this was really addressed. Due to our last experience here, I am reconsidering ever staying here again. I’m very disappointed. Especially because this is an expensive place to stay and the service was not as expected.

Thw hotel looks nice, however. There was no towels in the bathroom the phone did not work the key did not work the front desk promised to fix the issues and nothing happend i hadnto walk to the front desk several times to get them to come open the room.
The fromt desk girls just giggled and thought it was funny i guess. After traveling all day thw last thing you need is to do thw hotel's job and go get everything yourself terrible service.

I stayed at the Radisson in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, and it was a truly disappointing experience. The front desk staff were dismissive and rude, offering no basic information, not even the breakfast hours. When we got to the room, the bathroom towels were on the shower floor, which felt unsanitary.

The room smelled strongly of old cigar smoke and dirty laundry, and the curtains were visibly dirty. Even worse, the phone didn’t work, so there was no way to contact reception for help. The noise at night was terrible, you can hear trains constantly, making it almost impossible to sleep.

This was not what I expected from a Radisson property. I would not stay here again and can’t recommend it to others.

It would have been better i booked a room with a king size bed with a city view and they gave me just that with an out of service jacuzzi. I tried to ask if i could be moved into another king size city view room with a jacuzzi that actually worked since I was staying there multiple nights but they tried to charge me an unreasonable rate and I declined. Me encantó la propiedad algo diferente pero muy bonita estilo medieval un poco antigua pero bonita parece +1 Resort que un hotel las habitaciones bastante amplias demasiado grandes diría muy cómodas y muchas amenidades que algunos otros hoteles no tienen como por ejemplo tenian de diferentes tés y Cafe botellas de agua tosllita para limpiar los zapatos y por si necesitas coser algo te dejan un kit de hilos y aguja jabón ,shampoo,crema para el cuerpo y acondicionador toallas suficientes la habitación que a mí me dieron tenía una cama King size con su ropero y su televisión aparte tenía 1 arra de trabajo y un sillón como una sala de descanso y el baño muy amplio el tocador estaba independiente de la regadera y la taza del baño y las áreas verdes hermosas la alberca muy grande y muy bonita el hotel es gigantesco al principio me confundí porque no creí que fuera ahí el hotel hay que entrar por una privada donde también hay condominios y hasta la parte de arriba en la montaña está el hotel con una vista preciosa a la ciudad y el precio fue lo que más me sorprendió súper económico para todo lo que ofrecía definitivamente me volvería a quedar ahí
