The worst $ 199 ive ever wasted on a 8hr stay unsafe and tho the staff was nice with the exception of the food service lady who kept getting in the way never to bring out anything fresh food was terrible burt sausages eggs were like spoiled milk pool cut our feet and the chlorine took some skin off to much went wrong and renovations should be done here immezad

Our stay for 1 night was great! The staff was very professional and helpful. Our room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The best part of our stay was visiting the river in front of the hotel. The hotel was a bit outdated, but that did not bother us at all. We found that the drains for our sink and shower were slow to drain. However, the staff was able to resolve this issue promptly. Definitely would stay here again!

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was great and there were plenty of options like eggs, sausages, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and muffins.

The view in the back is beautiful. I instantly regretted not getting the balcony room when I saw the view in the back.

The hotel is clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Very good location next to a creek, property was well kept, and staff extremely friendly. The one major CON was that it seems like we were the only ones not smoking excessively on our balcony, major let down. The balcony is designed to where the wind blows your neighbors chain smoking smoke directly into your lungs. If you’re a smoker this is a great place, if not don’t pay the extra fee for a balcony. You can tell the hotel staff really keeps this place nice, but it’s just not friendly to nonsmoking guests to no fault of the hotel. Bummer!

This was my second stay at this property, and unfortunately, my last. The first stay was, by far, much better. We stayed for two nights on this second trip. Pros: Good breakfast, River room views are beautiful, Property is conveniently located to various eateries and highways. Cons: Upon check-in, we found that the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. I called the front desk to request a replenishment and was told that she would contact Housekeeping. However, after 45 minutes of not receiving it, I was on my way to the front desk and found a housekeeping employee and told him about the situation. He replaced it right away but told me that the front desk never contacted him. Our second negative involved the housekeeping staff not changing the towels left on the floor in the bathroom. We returned at approximately 4 pm after being out all day. I approached the front desk and asked if we needed to request that the room be cleaned, but was told no, and that it was automatically scheduled. I informed her about the towels not being changed out and she was surprised. She asked that I bring the dirty ones to the front desk and that she would happily change them out, which I did. I left the property thinking that the lack of detail and attention had diminished at the property and will consider other properties on my next visit.

We loved our stay here. The area seems a little sketchy but it is a great property on the river with a great breakfast, indoor pool with a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor rocking chairs. Only thing I wish we did differently was get a room facing the water with a balcony. We would definitely stay again!

Susan and Annette were super kind and welcoming! They were both very attentive and friendly. Susan made recommendations on things we should see while in North Carolina. Her recommendations made our trip more memorable than we expected. Susan and Annette made our experience at the best western remarkable and we look forward to coming back again soon and staying with the best western. Top notch staff. This was the best experience we have ever had at any hotel we have ever stayed at. They made us feel like family.

The hot tub was very hot and clean. As well as the pool. Its indoor, too. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was hot and good every morning. The room was clean and it is a no smoking facility. The view was awesome and the hotel area was clean and secluded. And an awesome view of mountain rock face. Right at the train tracks but you don't hear the train except in the middle of the day. There is a fire pit and rocking chairs and grills. There is a whole stretch by the river that kids can play in and another firepit and rock seats by the river.

Front desk staff ‘Forest’, she helped me for quick check in as we were in rush to drop our luggage and then leave for another place. Breakfast was served warm and the area was kept super clean. Room was ready clean and fresh. Location is great, the stream flows adjacent to the property. It has a deck with chairs and tables to enjoy morning break fast or evening drinks with family and friends. The location is though 20 minutes drive from Cherokee downtown but it’s worth coming out of city buzz and stay in calm environment. If I visit Cherokee NC again, will definitely stay at Best Western Place.

The staff are always so friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable with really soft sheets. The only negative was the bathroom door dragged and would get hung up on the flooring. They have a coffee brewing station in the breakfast area that was outstanding with various hot beverage choices. I told my husband this spoiled me and now I want one too!

Not So Good: The workout room was disappointing. The treadmill was out of order. The elliptical machine was not working. Would light up and then stop when started. The floor needed to be swept. The hotel did seem a bit worn and dated in wall coverings and furnishings. Porch door was a bit unstable - felt like it didn't shut / lock well.
Good: The hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. The river view is lovely. The rushing sound of the water, the mist rising on a cold morning . . lovely.

No labels on the coffee for breakfast, ended up with decaf when I wanted regular. When I asked about it she said they had been waiting months for labels but apparently it never occurred to anyone that tape would work.

The staff brought extra covers for the pull out couch making the girls very comfortable overnight. The room was fully equipped with all of the bathroom amenities as well. I have stayed at Best Western in Dillsboro NC many many times over the years. It’s my go to place. Clean rooms, the indoor heated pool and the atmosphere are just a few of the great amenities offered. The staff always welcome my family and I as if its our second home especially the breakfast staff. The view and access to the river make it even more enjoyable especially if you have children in the summer months.

The view of the river is gorgeous. I had a river view room with a balcony, but the building has an excellent design with a deck off the dining room with chairs and tables, so any guest can get comfortable and enjoy the view as often and for as long as they like.

For decades I’ve stayed in numerous hotels per year for work annd play, and this one was the quietest. The layout is easy to navigate and the room had everything I needed, including a small fridge and microwave.

I have been staying at this hotel for about 4 years. It no longer should have a 9.0 rating. The toilet seat had stains on it i had to disinfect before using. There were stains on floor in front of toilet that looked like someone missed the tiolet whilte urinating. The shower was dirty.
This bathroom was not cleaned.
Hot water for oatmeal was warm. Had to throw away. Sausage patties were way over down in microwave. Hard to cut.
The worst part of breakfast was the seats .ALL tbe seats were so badly worn n stained At the tables i refused to sit in one. The hightop tables had slightly newer seats that didnt show as much wear.
I showed pictures to front desk when I left. I had already gotten a late checkout approved when I checked in. Thought i might have to stay a second night.
Well there was no way i was going to stay in this room again.
So i checked out early in tbe morning. What a shame. This was a 9.0 rating previously. Not anymore.
I informed the staff when I left and showed pictures.
Already filled out a Best Western survey . I sometimes book directly with them but in a rush if i cant talk i use the hotels .com app.
I was hoping someone from the hotel staff would have called me today to follow up. Oh well this hotel is on the same river thst I am buildimg a house on. I had my quest stay here in the past.
