Arriving on a Thursday late afternoon no one was available to help us check in. We waited in the parking lot for about 30 minutes. (The lobby door was locked.) After calling the phone number that was posted on the window several times (with no answer) we decided to ask the employees next door if they knew if anyone was working at the Days Inn lobby and we found the Hotel lobby staff at the smoke shop next door.

After checking in to our room we noticed the lock on the hotel room door was broken and the bathroom had long hairs in the sink and the shower.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location to the Harrah's casino (directly across the street)

I will never stay here again.

Gross and dirt. I would never stay there again. The door handle broke and we were locked out of our room for 8 hrs and the owner didn’t want to refund the total night stay. The place is falling apart. Motel 8 can do better. Avoid at all cost.

We booked our room as a “smoking room”; and after we arrived; we were told that it is under new owners; and it is now “a non-smoking facility”. Days Inn should have notified Orbitz that it no longer had smoking rooms. Pro’s: comfortable beds, cool air and warm heat, clean room. Con’s: very low water pressure and the hot water needs to be hotter. Continental Breakfast is supposed to be started at 7 am; but it was only on time, half of the time, had to sit and wait for waffle maker to heat up; because it wasn’t turned on earlier; before 7 am. Nice staff, friendly.

Very convenient to the casino. Room was clean, just could use some updating. Breakfast was only waffles and cereal but was fine after at night out at the casino bar. Staff were very nice.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. The room was in very poor condition—there was no hot water, the shower and toilet were both broken, and overall the place felt run down and poorly maintained. On top of that, there was no smoke detector, which is a serious safety concern. And I even stated it to the staff and basically gotten brush of about it.

This property clearly lacks basic upkeep and attention to guest safety and comfort. I would not recommend staying here, and I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes immediate improvements

I was very sad to see Cherokee go down so much since I was there as a kid. Although I’m grateful for the job that it brought to the area having the casino it has really made. Everything else looks so rundown. Shops were falling apart. people were very nice everywhere we went. I probably would not stay at this hotel again although the staff was so sweet.

There was dog poop in the corner. I didn’t see it until the next morning. The more I think about it, the more I want to throw up. The hot water did work in the shower tho. This used to be a nice, clean place to stay. But it’s going downhill.

1st room we were given was still dirty.
2nd room was clean for the most part with the exception of glitter scattered on the floors. Had to plug in a lamp ouselves to get power by moving the bed.
Burn mark on the bedspread, but the bed itself was clean and comfortable with the exception of a few pieces of glitter in the sheets.

The worst part was there was hardly any hot water to take a shower.

The inn is an older place centrally located and convenient to restaurants and stores. The ladies I met in the office at check in and out were nice. The parking lot was very well lit as were the beeezeways. The room? Old with paint slapped here and there to try and dress it up. Dimly lit bathroom and sink area. The one chair in the room was badly stained. The comforter in my non smoking room had a very noticeable cigarette burn on it. The softness of the bed linens were something similar to what you might find in jail or prison. However, the room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The heater worked well and the tv/ remote was easy to use. There was a cold fridge and a little microwave. If you're looking for a room with a tv and conveniently located the inn was a decent place. If you want anything else you might be disappointed. I stayed by myself, if my wife had been with me I would have caught total Hell from her about the place. The breakfast was good if you want light fare like cereal, waffles and oatmeal. The coffee was good. The dining area was almost nonexistent with two tables. Overall not a bad stay but I probably would let my friends know all this before recommending the inn and if I return again to the area I may find a newer place to stay.

The room was had a terrible in the bathroom, the mattresses were overwhelming overused- all of them need to be replaced. The overall outside of the building was dirty, trash, cigarette butts everywhere. The phone cord would not stay connected to the phone. Basically, it was a nightmare. It was too cold to relocate to another hotel, so we endured the situation.

The staff was amazing, and very polite and helpful with situations that didn't even pertain to our stay. Room was quiet, couldn't hear anyone else, or their TVs. Quick walk to the casino, and the fireplace outside of it. Was a wonderful stay! Very afforfable and well worth the money!

The rooms need serious updates. NO SHOWER PRESSURE, Ceiling tiles in bathroom has major water stains and sagging. Light/exhaust fan dangling in bathroom. Bed comforter had big nasty stain on it. I cant believe they put it on the bed. It was a cheap room..can walk across street to casino. Staff guy was nice. Wont stay there again.

One thing I didn't like was we were assigned to a room in front of stairs where everyone had to go through so, we were hearing all the noise of people going up and down the stairs. We could ask for change of room but it was just one night stay. Overall it was a good stay.

We really liked that we were across the street from Harrah’s and could walk. The bad review is because the cleaning staff did not have rooms clean at check in time for a “no vacancy” weekend. It was 2 hours later before we could check in with non chalant attitudes. The cleaning staff exuberated horrible atttudes just walking past them which made us feel uncomfortable. Continental breakfast was very limited and they ran out of waffle mix on first morning….that was the only hot food option other than oatmeal.

Great location if you want to go to the casino, and it was fine for one night. Pool is out of service. But that was ok it was colder. The location is perfect for those wanting to go to the casino but not wanting the resort price. It’s only a two minute walk away. However, while decently clean, it’s in desperate need of a face lift. The rooms are dark, dingy and poorly lit. Beds are extremely uncomfortable with a weird metal base that we both hit with our feet multiple times.

The only positive about this motel is the location. It is dirty. The door had been kicked in several times, but the frame had not been repaired. There was a knife cut on the bedding. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 5. Check-in is at 3. The owner said he can't control when people check out. What? I asked the owner if he had a restroom or somewhere we could change clothes before going to the concert. He said no. The location allows him to charge $200+ per night for a room that should be rented by the hour.
