It perhaps needs to be more specific about how little there is to do on Kolocep itself. There’s only 1 other hotel on the opposite side of the island. I bar/cafe & 1 restaurant which is linked to the hotel. Also it should be detailed that the ferries don’t always run. We visited another island and couldn’t get back so had to pay for another hotel on another island. Whilst we understand they can’t control the weather we might not have got on the first one if we’d been told they don’t run is iffy weather.

The hotel itself is exactly what you’d expect from an All-Inclusive hotel.

Este hotel es una excelente opción para personas mayores de 40 años. Lo mejor es su playa y la comida, con un gran desayuno y mejor cena. La opción de media pensión es la mejor.
Los bloques 1 y 2 son los más cómodos, pues para el resto hay que subir escaleras

We had the BEST time here! Our AC in our room wasn’t quite working but they provided us with a fan that was super helpful. They are super accommodating and take your bags to the room while you are allowed to use all of the amenities until your room is ready. Definitely make sure to check the ferry schedule and ensure you’re not arriving on a holiday we got lucky but it could have ended very bad for us! Be on the lookout for Voraček (we are almost positive that’s how you spell it) who works in the restaurant. He was an incredible soul who made our whole trip! All around it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

Overall a nice quiet hotel in a beautiful setting. Transport links to the mainland were reliable and regular with reasonable costs (€5.10 per person one way). The food selection was good but was pretty much the same from day to day. Gluten Free options were quite limited but ok (Schar bread options for toasting in a shared toaster). Gluten free brownies were delicious!

Staff were attentive and helpful, particularly at meal times.

The room was nice, but the soundproofing was not very good, especially with people leaving early for the ferry and dragging suitcases up and down stairs. Our air conditioning system was faulty but fortunately the temperature in the room was comfortable without it.

The pool area was really nice and offered great views of the bay. It did get busy if you were not early but we never failed to get a sunbed, even in the afternoon after a morning of sightseeing.

The gym was very small and basic, could do with a bigger space and more equipment.

The games room had some good options, pool tables, table football, darts, card tables, TV and a small library. Came in handy on a rainy day!

We enjoyed our stay, and hope this review helps the hotel to improve and give prospective guests some insight into what to expect.

Would definitely consider staying here again in the future, thank you for having us!

What a little gem this place is. Like any holiday it really is what you make it. I had read reviews about 'too many wasps' and 'lack of food variety' but come on ... what do you expect in the heat of 30 degrees celsius and buffet food for over a week?
There are many positives to this place with a few ... realistic recommendations.

We absolutely loved exploring the island, where else can you say that you rent an island for a week and dive into every nook and cranny to swim on private beaches?

We did feel the food was a little repetitive and the drinks were not 'top label' brands which surprised us but we were comparing this to our holiday in Turkey at Liberty Lykia (Adults Only) in Ölüdeniz which was probably a tad unfair. That place is another level of class but then again, it is a different experience altogether.

Don't bother with the water taxis ... go for the ferries and save yourself some serious dollar and if you head on over to Dubrovnik, DON'T TAKE CLOTHES because that place gets HOT HOT HOT! Seriously, go early before the sun is radiating and be sure to hydrate.

The exclusions (kayaking etc ...) were overpriced in our opinion so we passed on those which was a shame and the bars on the island were expensive too. Having only tried one, two drinks were 20 Euros! That's London prices Koločep! However, the supermarket was reasonably priced and the hotel was always clean and tidy.

All in all ... what a great holiday we had. Highly recommended.

Great beach and island for doing walks or runs. Food a bit salty for our taste, but good and varied enough. Amazing deserts! Only main problem is the gym. It is way to small is lacking in stuff to do a normal workout. Has plenty of stairs, so be aware if you have mobility issues. Overall recommended.

Beautiful and peaceful island. Food was poor with limited choice. Lots of exclusions from \"All Inclusive\". Air Con not powerful enough. Pool snacks are sandwiches, donuts and crisps all from the same cabinet - definitely not hygienic.

Staff absolutely fabulous - huge thanks to Anna on reception and all the restaurant staff, who were efficient, kind and polite.

Wonderful! No cars, trains, buses!

All inclusive excellent. Food and drinks brilliant.

Nice late breakfast ‘till 10:30am.

There is a working port, so it is busy.

It’s an adult only hotel but it is pretty busy outside and on the public side of the beach, which is right next to the hotel’s beach.

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon looking forward to an all inclusive experience. Neither of us drink, but we were looking forward to the food. This was a massive disappointment. Not only was the food generally gross, but unsafe to eat. There were bugs everywhere, cold products left out for hours, undercooked meat, etc. My husband and I both got sick and ended up so hungry and afraid to eat there that we had to leave the island early. The general manager didn’t even make himself available to meet with us even though he was there. Going to an all inclusive resort and having to leave because you’re sick and hungry is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I do not recommend this resort unless you plan to drink only.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff were all amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we loved being all inclusive. There are lots of activities to join in with and plenty of places to just relax, round the pool, on the beach, on the many terraces. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Great hotel and location.
For those wanting a place to relax in tranquil and beautiful surroundings, this is a ideal destination. Staff are always attentive and keen to make sure your experience is great.
Rooms are well maintained and comfortable, plenty of drink selection, including cocktails.
The culinarium is well worth a visit too, with excellent food.
The only thing to bear in mind, is being an island destination, trips are a long day, with four ferries per day, you may have a long wait between the trip ending and the ferry back to the island. Although there is a small restaurant right near the ferry terminal to while away an hour or two.
All in all a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful views and a few drinks.

My husband and I stayed in this resort for about 5 days, was a great experience, all the staff was very friendly, always making sure we were happy. The only thing is that this resort is in a island you need to take a 30 mins ferry and only comes 4 times a day, also a lot of stars so if you have hip of knee problems something to keep in mind...overall great experience

We LOVED our stay!!! The island and the location of this boutique resort was serene and absolutely gorgeous! You see the beautiful pool and umbrellas coming around the corner on the ferry and we just knew we picked the right place to spend 4 nights. Staff are all very friendly. We were impressed by the cleanliness of our room and the restaurant and grounds. The best of both worlds when we can choose a quick swim in the easily sandy beach ocean, then shower outside and take a pool swim. We stayed in building 6 top floor - amazing view, charming thatched roof area and modern decor. It’s a quiet adult escape and we enjoyed it. numerous hiking trails and a few simple restaurants nearby if you don’t take all inclusive.

The hotel is conveniently located in the bay where the ferry docks and offers access to a nice sandy beach. Breakfast was OK. However, I would say that the facilities and rooms are 3-star standard rather than 4. The hotel's main target seem to be brits that have paid for all inclusive and are keen on emptying the bar.

Charming villa with ups and downs

Wonderful villa by the seaside. The room was large and open with a terrace and two seats to enjoy the breeze and sun. The villa was a bit of a walk from the main hub but nothing too daunting. The room is Large! Easily fit 3 people or two kids. For two people is was wonderfully spaced. The only issues would be that the wifi was a bit off - the WiFi is strong in the main hub but was spotty near your villa. Dining options were also limited due to covid so there was not as much variety was you would typically expect. But it's understandable as they want to limit contact with individuals so you order and they prepare food for you vs normal buffet.

Dette var en fantastisk fin opplevelse.
Personalet var super servise innstilte, blide, hyggelige. Alltid smilende og hjelpsomme.
Vi hadde god hjelp før vi dro med bestilling av transport fra flyplass og ut på øya både med bil og båt via mail.
Maten var helt super til alle måltider med god variasjon, her var det noe for alle.
Renholdet kunne vært noe bedre, men alt i alt helt strålende opplevelse.

Bel hôtel le personnel restauration est top. Les repas ne sont pas mauvais mais très souvent pas chaud. Inconvénient aucun personnel ne parle français c’est un peu ennuyeux quand on a un anglais basique.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist modern, aber die Gebäude sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen war leider sehr auf das überwiegend englische Publikum ausgerichtet. Gerne hätte ich die kroatische Küche probiert. Der Speisebereich ist aufgrund der Lautstärke leider ungemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.und schnell.

Excelente localização em frente à praia. Sem elevador e com escadas consideráveis, inclusive meu marido caiu subindo as escadas, pois os funcionários que pegaram as nossas bagagens na balsa deixaram embaixo, não subiram com as mesmas. Não vi atividade de resort, inclusive perguntei se iria ter o passeio e nos informaram que por causa do mau tempo não iria ter, sendo que depois de alguns minutos vi um grupo saindo para fazer o passeio. Comida excelente. Ficaria lá novamente.

Tolles All inclusive Hotel. Essen und Getränke fanden wir gut, es gab von allem etwas. Fisch, Fleisch, Vegetarisch, also für jeden was dabei. Einziger Nachteil aus unserer Sicht, die Fähre die man nehmen muss um nach Dubrovnik oder zur Insel zurück zu kommen fährt im September nur 4x.

Viihtyisä hotelli kauniilla rauhallisella saarella

Todella viihtyisä hotelli kauniissa rauhallisessa ympäristössä. Helppo laivayhteys Dubrovnikista. Tilavat, valoisat, mukavat huoneet, hyvät sängyt ja kylpyhuoneet. All Inclusive toimii hyvin, tasokkaat monipuoliset buffetit joissa myös paikallisia herkkuja. Pieni yllätys oli vain, että lounasaika päättyi ennen sisäänkirjautumisaikaa, joten tulopäivänä pääsi vasta illalliselle. Allas-alue on siisti ja hyvin hoidettu, tilaa riittää mukavasti sekä altaalla että piha-alueella -ja rannalla;) Hotellin edustalla on kiva hiekkaranta, vesi on kirkasta ja maisemat kauniit. Vehreään ympäristöön pääsee helposti kävelylenkeille. Oltaisiin viihdytty paria päivää pidempäänkin ja mielellään palattaisiin:)

Bra All-Inclusive!

Uteplatsen var det enda som inte var fempoängare, snarare 2 poäng men det beror på att vi inte tog dyrare rum med utsikt, välj det om ni har möjlighet då det är jättefin utsikt från de rum som vetter mot havet och poolen.
Ön är fin men det räcker med några nätter sedan har man sett allt, vill man bara ligga vid stranden och lata sig är hotellet prefekt! Bra båtförbindelser in till Dubrovnik gör att det är en bra plats att utgår från om man vill stanna längre och ändå vara aktiv.
