The room seemed old, so did the linens. During the night, some sound of water leaking or something similar kept us awake. The slot for the room card, to keep the lights on, was flimsy and it was very hard to keep the lights on.

Room was pretty and hotel is very conveniently located. Cleaning/housekeeping was spotless. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, good value, and staff are great. We thoroughly enjoyed a weekend in Sofia - there was plenty to do in terms of sightseeing, shopping, dining etc, and we found it much less expensive than most other European capitals. Highly recommended taking a walking tour with a local to see some hidden gems. On the other side of things - some aspects of the hotel are run down/poorly maintained. The elevator wasn’t working, black out curtains couldn’t be properly closed, shower heads weren’t working as they should, and the air con was weirdly located so one side of the room was freezing while the other was very hot.

I almost cancelled this reservation because of a review on here and I am so glad I didn't. Perfect location and I thought the room was lovely. The breakfast was more than enough, I am not sure why someone said they never got filled up. I ordered the club sandwich and it came with 4 sandwich halves and fried potatoes. I guess 2 sandwiches doesn't fill up everyone. Even the other options I could never finish.

The only negative I can say is the staff was very cold, but I am used to that so it doesn't bother me.

The only problem is with the design of the room the bathroom door and the wall to the sleeping area is all glass. Unless you are using the room as a honeymoon room you would be inconvenienced. When showering and using the bathroom you are doing it in clear view of whoever else is staying in the room with you. I don’t know who came up with the design but I know he missed the point. When you use the bathroom in the middle of the night you are best to find your way in the dark. Once you turn the light to the bathroom your whole room becomes lit due to glass wall and door. Ridiculous.

We had a great room and a very good bathroom. We had a large comfortable bed although the pillows could have been better quality.
There was a lift available and the staff were very friendly. it was an easy walk to all the sights of Sofia both old and new town areas. There were plenty of nearby restaurants for evening meals but few of them seemed to be open for breakfast. Breakfast was not included in the hotel rate and we thought the 15 EUR was a bit pricey but we struggled to find any good local cafes nearby.

Worth the visit

We stayed on night in Sofia to catch our plane. The room had a queen bed that was a bit oversized for the room. There was a small wiring desk with chair, a sitting chair and large closet, and functional elevator. A large window opened on to the adjacent rooftops of Sofia and provided the necessary cool breeze to keep us comfortable in January. Opa, the hotel restaurant, served generous portions of food with excellent quality.

We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our time, especially its ideal central location, which made exploring the city a breeze. Our room had a view overlooking the pedestrian walkway, providing a great vibe and adding to the overall experience. Breakfast was satisfying, though a bit limited in variety. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The laundry service was efficient and returned on time, which we appreciated. However, one drawback was the limited parking with only two spaces available. If you’re arriving by car, be aware that finding parking might be a challenge. Right at Vitusha Boulevard is a big plus. Big minus is, the entrance has moved to the side road and taxi can not stop infront of the hotel. So, if you have luggage, be prepared to drag on a stone paved street. I broke wheels of my luggage while moving it from taxi to the hotel. I first used this hotel back in 2007 in it was one of the finest. Now, 2024, not much of the maintenance has been done and it is dated. Towels are worn and old. Everything looks like they were not replaced since opening the hotel, some 17 years back.

This is a cool, quirky hotel. The location is amazing and it’s quiet even though it’s on the main strip. I never had a problem with street noise

I’ll list some pros first, then cons:

Pros
1. Quiet
2. Big room
3. Main tourist street and walkable to everything
4. Lots of dining options around
5. Mini bar
6. Huge soaking tub if you are into that stuff.

Cons-
1. No coffee maker in room
2. Hotel restaurant food was pretty good at dinner, but I wasn’t crazy about the breakfast
3. Bed was very hard and the pillows can’t be fluffed or adjusted. I have a bad neck, so I always have to fluff a pillow to get a comfortable spot. These pillows are a firm memory foam so they cannot be fluffed.
4. DO NOT share a room with a friend unless you enjoy watching one another shower and use the toilet. The shower is connected to the bedroom which is solid glass. So you can see everything going on in the bathroom from the bedroom. Maybe great for some honeymooners, but very awkward for anyone else.

Stayed at Les Fleurs twice in about a week's time, three nights total, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Both rooms I had were gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was always warm and welcoming. The proximity to both the blue (National Palace of Culture station) and the yellow (Serdika station) subway lines made getting to the bus station or the airport very easy. Price was very reasonable considering its location on the lively and central Vitosha Blvd. Added the breakfast to my room, and was glad I did that, too. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a really great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean with good amenities. The bathroom has a nice shower, a bidet, and a deep soaker tub while the bed is really comfortable. Noise wise, in the bed area it was quiet but near the door it was a bit noisier. Only knock was that the shower door leaked a bit, but that is a minor issue that can easily be fixed. Will definitely stay here again. The location could not be better, right on Vitohsa Boulevard which is a happening place with a ton of bars and restaurants within walking distance

Great location, spacious room, very clean & pleasant. However they took 1 1/4hrs to fix my tv & explain how to get it on but worst thing ever was the breakfast service.

It took an hour to have cereal, tea & bread (not toast) & had to ask for butter & waitress seemed shocked that I wouldn’t have bread with jam only (maybe it’s a Bulgarian thing). I was kept waiting for ages (although they did apologize for the lift being out-of-order) but at one point there was no-one even working in the restaurant & I was there entirely by myself! Also they didn’t have any juice!

On the 2nd morning I asked to take my breakfast away but it was dry toast with ham & tomato but again no drink! I had to eat elsewhere.

I would recommend if you do stay in the hotel, do not eat in there! The worst (lack of) service I have received in my life!

breakfast is poor - staff does not understand English and the \"fitness breakfast\" consists of plain yoghourt, some sirup and 4 raspberries + granola (the granola was excellent) - the \"sliced fruit platter\" was a banana (with peel in one piece) - when I asked for the sliced fruit, or other fruit I received an apple cut in four pieces (unpeeled) - orange juice, from a carton or bottle, not freshly squeezed was only served upon request and the coffee was just ok. The \"choice\" of bread was reduced to few slices of baguette.

Great little hotel! The location is perfect because it's right by the Pedestrian walkway with all sorts of shops and restaurants. The hotel has two parking spots in front. The front desk staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Try the fitness breakfast - it's a work of art. The room is on the small side but adequate with fridge, safe, and a large bathroom. The fixtures are modern and the water is hot. Loved it all!

The staff was excellent. Good recommendation for restaurant. Arranged our transportation to and from airport (our preference).
Decor and design was over the top and unique.
Located right in the middle of restaurants, public transit, and downtown sightseeing.
Breakfast was decent (provided by adjacent restaurant), but you only get one shot of expreso. For some reason there is no kleenex in the room. Otherwise, it has everything else including an electric iron curtain roller to block the sunlight.

The Fleurs hotel is a lovely boutique hotel next to Vitosha, Sofia’s largest and liveliest pedestrian street. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The sound proofing from the outside noise was superb but we heard systemic internal banging sounds in our room. Not sure if they were the elevator mechanism (would have been strange since we were on the other side of hall and not on top floor) or other clients (also unlikely since the noise seemed somewhat predictable). I was thankful for my White Noise app and Bluetooth ear pods. However, our friends did not have the noise problem at all. We agree with reviewers that the shower floor needs TLC. The set menu breakfast choices were varied, fresh and prepared well. Unfortunately, the mini fridge was never cold and could have been better stocked.

This is an odd hotel. First of all the good bits. Staff are extremely helpful and the location is impossible to beat in Sofia. But the rooms are odd, a little dirty (net curtains stained, dusty surfaces, and on one morning little hot water. Breakfast wasn’t pleasant except the juice and coffee. Lovely hotel in the heart of Sofia

We booked a luxury room and was very impressed with the room and hotel generally. The room was incredibly spacious and was clean. The location is perfect as it is central but we never heard any street noise. The room was very quiet and we both slept really well. The bath and shower was brilliant and powerful. The staff are a credit to the hotel, the receptionist (sorry forgot his name) always helped us with ordering taxis and sorting our boarding cards. Recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sofia.
