Midnight Check-in.

Arrived late at night, just before midnight. Bell hop help with our luggage. Being the last person checking in for the day, the front desk greeted me by my name. Very polite and polished English. Told us very jetlagged travelers, everything we needed to know about our stay. Room takes a few minutes to cool down, eco-friendly not to keep unoccupied rooms cool. Am looking forward to the breakfast buffet, and gym/pool.

Great location, easy walking distance to district 1. Staff and hotel was fantastic, happy to assist with late checkout and all other items I needed.
Only downside was perhaps the hard bed, was unexpected in such a nice room setup.
Would 100% return here, was a fantastic stay!

Property was ok. Pictures are deceiving when you book the room. It is much much smaller and they take perfect lighting and angles to make the rooms look perfect. Gym was typically small. Rooftop was small and not well kept. Just looks dirty and water was muggy. Internet was ok. This area is not very family friendly. The nearby streets are for grown men partying. Not a clean area. It's pretty close to everywhere tourisy. Was kinda of upset when checking out.

I think my wife opened a small bottle of water thinking it was provided by the hotel. They were kind of petty to make us pay like a US dollar for that bottle of plain water. Could've let that slide, especially us staying for like 4 nights. Left a bad taste. 3 stars at best..

Almost everything are good, just my room the shower room a little smell and you could see the stain from overtime used. I booked two family room but each floor they one have one family room it make a little inconvenience goes up and down and only one key card for a room.

The hotel is lovely to walk into, the staff are so helpful, food delicious and the pool is fun (if very small). However the room feels dated, it has not been designed with what travellers need - places to hang things, places to dry wet swimsuits, the bathroom has no room to put toiletries for more than 1 person. It was jist annoying. The shower was so powerful when I switched it on, because of the angel it had been left at, the entire bathroom got soaked, including towels and clothes. It was so so annoying.

A very decent experience! Staff were very friendly special mention to Tien (sorry if I spelt wrong) on the door and Henry, Vi and Ha at the breakfast buffet. The staff all seemed keen to make sure my stay was excellent and asked after for my opinions. Breakfast buffet was top quality, different pho every day along with rice, noodles near fish, vegetarian options, fruit and pastries. Room was large, very clean and equipped with a working safe. The immediate area rather unexpectedly had a lot of Japanese and Korean restaurants, with well known chains if you're into that, I tired several of them, all authentic. I was recommended this hotel and without hesitation would recommend it myself.

The hotel location was really good. Front desk staff was very friendly and many spoke good English. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious! The breakfast was amazing- definitely recommend adding. What stands out the most were bellmen’s: Chau Binh, Nam and Toam who were wonderful staff members of this hotel! They were extremely helpful and great to speak with. Their disposition were always warm and welcoming even after working long shifts. It was great to have so many convenience stores surrounding the hotel. GRAB - was easy to use around town! Very inexpensive way to get around.

Great location. Walkable, great customer service by the front desk team. The breakfast buffet is very good, large and diverse. The food and beverage staff and especially the F & B manager were incredible. Was greeted with a complimentary afternoon tea for the family. Great base to explore the city and region.

An few area that could use attention: Maintainance & disclosing fees

The room had multiple defects. Faulty tea kettle (replaced), clogged sinks (temporarily fixed but recurring), and a non responsive cleaning crew (the guest had to ask multiple times for a room cleaning). Several outlets have no power in the room and the remaining outlets are severly worn so that most plugs fall out when placed in the recpetacle. The internet, hot water, and AC were lacking. Book a room away from the back alley, extremely loud noises were heard late into the night and fouls smells are present as well.

Extra fee imposed at check in which was not disclosed. Additional ones were attempted at check out.

Rooms functional but on the smallish side (family room). Breakfast menu and quality is standard and a bit rushed as it closes early (9:30 am).
Restaurants in the area are mostly Japanese and Korean cuisine. Location is good and within walking distance of places of interest, including nightlife which is quite vibrant.

We stayed with 2 kids and 2 adults. The room design/size was perfect. central location to walk around town and explore HCM. I loved the greenery. Breakfast buffet was also good for kids and the pool (while small) was well maintained and safe on the 12th floor.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Paragon. It has been updated very nicely and our room was very comfortable. The A/C worked great and the bed was firm and good. (The King bed is two twins put together.). The staff was great! They helped with everything. And we’re super friendly! The daily breakfast was very good with many options and an omelette station as when as a hot soup/noodle station. The location is good and is walking distance to Opera Hall, Post Office, Grand Market, Zoo, River, and more. If we come back to HCM, we will book the Paragon again!

This was a really nice hotel for a 4*. Much better than a 5* we had stayed in previously in Bangkok. Room seemed recently refurbished and the one morning we did have breakfast we were impressed with the quality and variety on offer. The location is ideal if you want to be within walking distance to the main attractions of HCMC but away from the noisy nightlife area (this is still within walking distance). Considering it’s a rooftop pool in the city it was still pleasant and well maintained. Could do with some more loungers but there isn’t much space. Would highly recommend staying here and we would return if ever staying in HCMC again. A bonus was some chocolates delivered to our room every day which were greatly received!

Classic modern hotel with comfort service.

What I was amazed the most was the design of the entrance. It has green, trees and flours arrangements to welcome the guests. The service was good. Airport pickup and suport to book local taxi using mobile app were offered by the reception and door man.its very useful to guests.

I was warmly greeted by the bellman on duty when he came to open my taxi door. Check-in was a breeze and I was thankful that they let me check in at noon since my room was ready and I was coming from a local hotel and arrived early. The same bellman that warmly greeted me aggravated me when he brought my bags to my room and thought it was ok to tell me how much $1 was worth when I gave him a tip. I increased the amount I gave him but that was a huge turnoff because I hadn’t experienced this behavior with bellman at the previous 2 hotels. The room was small and a little dark due to the dark wood furniture. I could see a little bit of the river through the buildings out my window. The main thing that made this room uncomfortable was the lack of plugs at the desk. I eventually thought of the work around to unplug the router and use my power strip since the router had a US plug. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of food and mini mart options close by. The Peoples Committee, General Post Office and Notre Dame Saigon is a short walk away.

If I had known that they were doing renovations, I would no have stayed there. Access to the pool was not available, one of the major reasons I picked the Hotel. Without the renovations I would rate it excellent! I also noticed that after I booked the price dropped $20 per night😡

The room was nice but the bathroom design wasn't practical as shower was above the bathtub, which in turn was next to a see through glass wall( separating the bedroom) with blinds for privacy but could still see through the blinds from the bedroom when one was having a shower. Not to mention the massive puddles of water that would accumalate around the bath and flooded the bathroom floor.

During our stay we were surprised with a nice gesture from the hotel when we arrived back from a tour to find a bowl of tropical fruits in our bedroom with a letter wishing my wife a happy birthday.

The breakfast was mediocre. There were very few vegetarian options available but the fruit selection was nice.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, in a good location.

My room was on the small size but it was just me one night so ok. The front desk was friendly spoke get by English, breakfast was good, a good combination of breakfast foods. Hotel and room were clean. Good location, many good restaurants reasonably priced, close to the Ben Thanh Market. Only BIG complaint and the only reason I won't stay there again is the ROCK HARD BED, most uncomfortable bed ever. I like a firm bed but this bed kept me awake all night killing my back trying to find a comfy spot racking my bones in pain. Never again. Worst than a sofa bed. like sleeping on a yoga mat maybe worse.

Nice hotel close to all attractions in District 1

This hotel is very nice. You can walk to all attractions in District 1 (City Hall, Notre Dame, Post Office, Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh Market, etc.). The staff members are also polite, courteous, and friendly. Rooms are well maintained. There is a small swimming pool on the top floor, not really suitable for laps but great for cooling off after a long day of walking in the sun. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in the City

From the hotel you can walk to everything. Its a great location and right around the corner from the Opera house and the Cathederal. The breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel and I have been to many. It really is wonderful. The staff took care of my needs even when I made a mistake and booked a room with no window. I was tired and didn't realize I selected a no window room. When I got there and they told me there was an upgrade price I was a little miffed. The next day the manager called me without me prompting it and upgraded my room. That's going the extra mile and taking care of your customers. Its a great hotel and I would stay here again.

This hotel is situated in a great area and you are so close to everything for the price you pay this has got to be the biggest plus. The reception area is beautiful and gives an amazing first impression but the rooms don't really follow through with the grandeur and are a little bit basic and tired. We were originally put into a room with great views but the window didn't shut properly and there is building work happening opposite which meant that we were woken up v early, butbthd hotel moved us to a quieter room after complaining. Lovely little roof terrace and pool, with great service, but not enough sun beds in the sun, which meant that some people were just lieing on a towel on the ground, there are also no umbrellas for people who like shade.

Construction site across narrow road. Beware.

I booked a suite and within one minute realised that we would not be able to sleep due to the 24 hour construction site just metre from our room.When I complained they did offer us a choice of room change and said that they would refund the difference in price. The next day a letter was left in our room saying that they would not refund.
I understand that the construction site was not the hotels fault but as a traveller I expect to get what I pay for. If I had known I would not have booked at this hotel.
