Overall this was a good experience for facility point of view. However the guards at the entry asked me multiple time as if I just come there from outside to sit when I was at lobby, then I need to say that I am staying here .

The biggest problem that I have regarding the property is that they permit people smoking in their rooms. Even worse, cigarette smoke from some rooms make their way into other rooms via the AC system. Not only is this seriously unhealthy, but it’s an issue for people who quit smoking.

Changing rooms doesn’t help.

Besides this, the place is like a fraternity house, which you may or may not enjoy

Not recommended for a number of reasons.

1. Booked a Double Deluxe Room but was given a Superior Room instead. I only just realised the discrepancy while filling out this review, otherwise, I would have had it rectified there and then.

2. Unpleasant and disrespectful encounter at front desk during check-in. Staff insisted on keeping the national ID card of my partner, who is a Vietnamese citizen. While I asked the staff to make a copy of it, like they did with my passport (as I was a tourist), the staff refused. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience for both of us.

3. Property indicated as smoke-free but the previous guest(s) had smoked in the room. Air-con filter had not been changed and could smell cigarette smoke at all times while in the room. Did not have a good sleep because of that.

4. Bedroom slippers provided were not disposable. While eco-friendly options are understandable, at least indicate if the slippers had been sanitised.

5. Pictures of the dining room are deceptive; the dining room is much less fancy than shown.

Staff service was good in general. However, there is one thing that I would like the hotel to improve. I sometimes noticed that bottles of shower gel and shampoo were not filled up, after staff finished cleaning my room.

Staff service was good, while there was a problem of hot water in my room. I could use only normal (not hot) water. Almost every day I needed to ask staff to fix the problem in order to make hot water available.

I see a lot of people giving negative reviews but to be honest for the price you're paying for, you can't be expecting a 5 star resort experience right?

Not clean, rooms have no windows, please specifically ask for a window room. Not friendly. Not good breakfast. I don't like it at all. Choose another hotel in the same area next time.

Ok hotel. Overall expensive for degree of comfort. Windowless room (except in bathroom). Wifi ok but slow. Bath / shower layout not ideal.
Breakfast could be improved.

Convenient, clean, and good value

Walking distance to the cathedral, opera, Central Post-office, classic hotels. Check-in went smoothly. Room was clean and amenities good. A lot of marble, mirrors, and \"gold\" in the public areas... looks like a business hotels in China or Taiwan. No window in the room. Not really a problem since spent most of our time outside. Good wi-fi
Bathtub with jaccuzi that doubles as shower (with curtain). Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Staff is minimal in the hotel and it took some time to find someone to bring milk for the coffee.
Girls at the desk were very nice and helpful.
This is a business hotel, not a resort. Good value for money (at the price we paid) and I would recommend it. Looks like there are many similar/identical hotels on that street.

Hotel is located in central area, nearby many restaurants and some of them are open 24 hours, convenient stores, ATM, etc. All needed was there nearby.
