Great place to stay and right on the beach and everything’s within walking distance. Would stay again!

Espero voltar muitas vezes.

Great location , close to beach, eateries, shopping
Michael
Photos of property were misleading property was much older than photos showed. Expect charges for almost every amenity. For instance water to make your coffee is an additional charge.Low quality bedding linens and towels. Items left in the room from previous customers or guests for example balloons and rose petals. When we told the front desk that the jets in our tub were not working they politely said yes you are correct. When we asked if we could get them looked at they said no, they are just broken. When my wife and I come back we will be looking for an alternative hotel.

Lovely beach view and very clean property. Would stay here again!
Debra
Staff friendly n helpful. Convenience to beach great. Room size good only storage furniture was old n clean

Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. Guilherme in the restaurant was a fantastic server/manager. Pool area & views of beach were beautiful. Conveniently attached to a shopping mall and walkable to many sights, restaurants and shops. Check-in was a bit chaotic and they told us they were unaware that cruise ship passengers would be checking out & in on that day - so they wer "not prepared". Rooms on lower floors dfinitely hear the street noise, especially overnight. Also, seemed odd to have a front desk staff member at a tourist hotel that only speaks Portuguese (no English she told us) which meant Google Translate to the rescue to inquire about when our room would be ready, etc.
Wilfred
Amazing property with great staff and a great location
Randi
The location of this hotel is fantastic, as is the rooftop pool. These are the two best parts of the hotel. The customer service was not good and the rooms are not in very good condition. The check in was wildly slow and later than the 3:00 time promised. They have checkout at noon but neglect to tell you that you absolutely cannot use any of the facilities after you check out. We wanted to buy lunch at the pool and wait for our 3:00 uber and they said absolutely not! I have never experienced that before. In short the prior reviews do not really tell whole the story. This is much more like a 3 star hotel with a rather unfriendly and unhelpful staff. As long as you know this and don't really mind, then for sure the location and rooftop pool are wonderful!!

Kevin
It was a fine place to stay overnight before we left on a cruise
Terezinha
I was very disappointed with the hotel I was thought it was good
Check in was super slow looking as if the computer system is really obsolete
Slow and few lifts for the amount of guests
Bad taste decoration
Bathroom very slippery and dangerous especially to old people
Terrible internet connection
We had to check out 2 days before and move to the Novotel near by paying twice for the accommodation
Breakfast with not as much choice. Decoration resembles a nursing home refectory than a hotel
I would never stay there again and never recommend to anyone.
For the lack of internet connectivity we should be refunded. I could not work in the room or elsewhere in the premises
Really disappointing!!!

Great place, elevators are not good though

Check-in was horrible. Only two staff when there's a long line of guests waiting to check in. I spent more than 30 minutes in queue.

Good room with a big balcony.
Clean and comfortable.
Just wished the bar would stay opened later. It was closed at 10pm.

The good - very clean, new sheets, super comfortable bed, great service, excellent breakfast.
The bad - could use better towels (the ones they have are brittle, not soft and smooth); as in most places in Brazil, windows could be soundproof - it gets noisy from traffic; what is up with those mini toilet paper sheets?!?!?

We loved our stay here, from the location to the amenities insides! The breakfast every morning was abundant and delicious and the staff even catered to us when our kids woke up a little late. The kids space inside was so fun along with the rooftop pool, with beautiful views! The location right across from the beach was perfect and having the mall attached (also with fun kids spaces) was just the right touch for our family. My only complaint is that the hotel staff expected birth certificates for our kids, which we obviously don’t carry with us. Also, the bathroom was a little musty due to no functioning fan, not sure if it was just our room.

Fantastic Location
Hotel is very good.
Excellent location, next to a shopping mall.
Best restaurants in town are in walking distance.
Rooms are very comfortable, but a light renovation would be nice.
Limited amenities in rooms.
Overall a great experience.
Will probably return.

Great location, close to the beach and other convenient places like restaurants, shopping centres and main streets.

The property has one of the best positions in the city and has wonderful views, however it needs updating and better, more thorough maintenance.
It would still be my choice for future trips, as it’s in a very beautiful and safe area.

A localização e infraestrutura do hotel é excelente!

Cristina
Internet péssima para assistir os aplicativos como
Netflix, Amazon prime, etc… Camas pequenas e a equipe não é nada agradável!

Minha experiência no Hotel Parque Balneário Santos by Castelo Itaipava foi excelente.
