Buffet breakfast on weekends has great selections. Staff are very friendly and respectful. I wish I had an early check-in that was accommodated, it caused extreme inconvenience for me and my son to find a place to stay because we arrived in Baguio at 4am and check-in was 2pm. I messaged many days ahead for the request but nobody responded from the hotel. The room is clean, but since the building is old, there's a foul smell in the bathroom. Area is very accessible to transit.

Unexpectedly good!

I thought the picture of the room will be different in person but it wasn't! I am surprised to be met with a good view of some pine trees in the large window pane. If not for the purpose of my trip, I would have stayed in the sofa all day just staring out the window.

The breakfast is okay. Buffet style with enough choices. I enjoyed the adobo and rice. Hope may champorado next time.

The thing I did not like about the property was that it did not have a smoking designated area. Which is my fault for not researching it before hand. Plus Baguio as a city is not a friendly place for smokers, vapors and chewers. So be warned. If you’re a smoker like me. They’re aren’t too many smoking designated areas in Baguio. Check others hotels before booking one. Check out Cafe Will Restaurant. They have a smoking area. FYI.

Very good location, the deluxe room was a pretty good size with the daybed also. The mattress could be improved I found it to be too firm and hard. The breakfast options had a good selection with 3 viands, veggies, fruit, cereals, bread and soup options. The place was under renovation during my stay. I found it to be a bit overpriced due to the lack of any other facilities aside from the room and the sparse Cafe area.

It started @checkin. The young woman had a madk on and I couldnt understand a word. I told twice and she ignored me and kept going. There were extra fees. Only 1 keycard for 2 guests. Room was wrong ordered a queen bed got 2 singles. Poor lighting and few outlets.The elevator is out of service. Noisy and smelly due to renovations. Wont be returning there. Went to the hotel next door (literally) clean bright and inviting.

We have stayed here so many times and will always return because it's our favorite hotel in Baguio to stay because the staff are so friendly and accommodating and make us feel like old family returning each time we return! The cleaning staff do a fantastic job and always fill my requests and needs when we're there! The location is great and easy to get around to the rest of the city from there and many attractions are nearby the hotel. We will always return to the Chalet when in Baguio!

We stayed here for our Wedding Anniversary celebration. Requested for a room with a good view of the mountains and thankfully this is what we got.
The room is spacious and clean.
The bathroom could have a better design. Water keeps on flowing outside.
They have decent buffet breakfast and dinner buffet. This is during weekends. Ok weekdays they only serve set meals for breakfast.
Hotel has a great location, very accessible.
Only ample parking available.

The location of the property is hard to find when you take a taxi. Water in the shower not warm, curtain falls down. No cars should be parked in the front of the building to accentuate the place. It should only be used for loading and unloading clients. Good points: helpful staff, good food.

Experienced bad at day one when we checked in. They tried to give us a room that is facing street traffic followed by a room in basement. We ended up on the main floor. Not a clean room esp the bathroom. Shower curtain has holes and worn out. A couple of staff are not accommodating and nasty. They are better with the locals who hold conferences in their hotel. The photos they featured to you are deceiving. Definitely not coming back to stay with them.

The place was nice, Bed was really comfy. But the bathroom has molds and smells a bit old. For a place that's always foggy and does not air out it needed more attention and deodorizers.
Views from the room was nice just don't look down because all you see are the neighbor's roof. the people were nice and helpful. The TV in the room was too small and way too far away from the bed. wifi doesn't work inside the room just right by the door. once the door closes the internet is disconnected. always bring your pocket wifi.

We love staying at the Chalet Baguio! The staff is like our extended family and we'll always return! Always professional and so nice to us! Our 3rd stay there for our anniversary trip. The staff knows us well and go out of their way to make us feel at home! Room could use more lighting because very dark in evening, but over all a great place!

As times goes by, I’ve noticed that the service is getting worst compared to our previous stays. The staff are friendly but they are lacking the ability of good customer service. Maybe the hotel itself needs a renovation.

For the price, not bad anymore since we have free dinner and free breakfast for two.. very satisfied. Room is airconditioned. Staffs are friendly. If they have 30 guests and above, they will serve buffet breakfast. Location is good. Easy access to taxi/bus. But limited parking only.

In addition, since, it's my hubby birthday, they gave my hubby a free cream tart. I was expecting a piece of it, however, it was a surprise that they gave 5 pieces of yummy tarts worth P150.

We will surely come back here.

This place is a nightmare for Foreigners

Breakfast is small and not tasty.
Dinner is below standard no quality.
The General manager is on vacation
Staff is very loud
Staff drinking coffee from the same place as the guests
staff is goofing around all day.
Front desk is not helpful, or friendly and treats foreigners like second class citizens
They overcharge for Mountain View which is a hidden charge when you arrive.
There is absolutely nothing to like at this hotel.
Stay somewhere else or you will regret it.

KUDOS to the hotel staff!!! They are very professional, courteous and friendly. Service is superb. The food is good. The hotel and its facilities definitely need a better maintenance program. First impression started as soon as we enter the glass doors. The ceramic tiled floor definitely needs to be cleaned and some of the grout is missing. Checking in is fast and easy. Things were explained well. The glass pane walls in the dining facility definitely needs to be cleaned so the guests can enjoy the view. In the hallway leading to our room, some of the ceramic tiles are lifting. Inside the family room that we got, the toilet seat is halfway secured, we have to call to have it tightened up. The bathroom floor smells like pee.There should be a pre-inspection prior to moving the guest in to ensure obvious things are taken cared of/repaired.
Management should review maintenance and room service procedures and make the necessary corrections/adjustments so more guests will have a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
