It takes 20 minutes walk to get to the train station and shopping center. I would prefer another hotel closer to the station; however it has the convenience of some stores and places to eat around its location.

The place is not neat and the rugs are evidently old and dirty.

-Was very tidy and clean.
-The space in our room was used very well, so we had plenty of room to work with, which is uncommon in Japan at this price range (my experience, at least).
- I like the rice paper shutters that our room had
- Customer service was exceptional.
-The cityscape view from our room and the lobby/lounge was phenomenal
- Can reach major attractions/sites within 15-20 mins of walking

Cons

- The room was quite warm and the air conditioning did not help alleviate this, it may have even made it worse. This was not much of a problem for us in April, but it could be during the summer.

ここ3年、年一回2泊で利用。駐車場が屋根付きで使いやすくて利用。
サービスも良。部屋も1人旅には十分。毎回素泊まり利用。デパートやコンビニ、スタバも近くて便利なロケーション。金沢城址公園にも近い。
今回は、部屋の芳香剤がキツすぎて体調悪くなりました。季節性の鼻炎だったのですが、柑橘系に針葉樹の香りを足したような喉鼻にはキツすぎる匂いでした。また洗面台に長い髪の毛が挟まっていて気持ちが悪かった。私は短髪なので前の利用者の物かと。
この2点が無ければ、今回も満点でした。

Very clean and tidy Hotel, the staff was super nice and did everything possible to make us feel welcomed. The view from the room and also from the hotel reception is amazing, and finally, the location is goodz near to Kanazawa Station, and super close to Ōmichō Market. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a comfortable hotel and the staff helped us make a booking for the ‘ninja’ temple, so thank you for that. Also umbrellas ready to borrow, like many Japanese hotels. The only improvement would be to update the air conditioning - only options are “level 1/2/3”, no temperature control. Also a bar for a quick drink would have been nice; there was an implication that there was a lobby bar, but the lobby was just a sitting area, no drinks.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tourist bus tickets sold here. The breakfast buffet is superb for the price and is served on the 16th floor with nice views of the city. The rooms are small and bathrooms old. The beds are very good. There are no 3-prong grounded outlets in the room.

This hotel is in an excellent area across the street from Omi-Cho market and there is a loop bus stop right in front that makes it easy to access the city.
The staff was very kind and easy to communicate with, even before we arrived.
One of the highlights was breakfast every morning. It was delicious with great variety, and a great way to get a touring day started.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on visiting the beautiful city of Kanazawa.

It us an average hotel with minimal amenities. Hotel check in is at the 16th floor. Kanazawa rained a lot, since it did not have a first floor lobby like most hotels I did not see umbrellas that you can borrow.

The hotel was a very easy walk to the beautiful train station. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did have a small issue about obtaining 2 card keys when we checked in. However the same person assisted with our check out and was much more pleasant and helpful. I would stay in this hotel again

Staff were friendly and service was very good. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with great selection of food choices with a great view. Great restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. Shopping in the attached mall was okay, but there were other shops near by. Lots of parking. The value of the room was very good, with the only complaint being the fees and taxes assessed by, what we were told, the city. It was as much as a one night stay.

A wonderful place to stay in Kanazawa. Our room was huge! Breakfast was good, but we missed the cinnamon buns Holiday Inn is famous for. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the train station, and next to a huge mall for shopping. Across the street is another mall with multiple dining options. Also walkable to Kanazawa castle.

The wall between the rooms is very thin and we had bad experience, since the guy in the next room forgot to switch off the alarm clock, so we woke up early in the morning, against our well, since never stop snoring on our head. They must improve this

Room is okay size, bathroom is small. Toilet bowl in our bathroom has no lid: Don't drop anything or you will be sorry. No coffee maker but there is a kettle and a small fridge. Buffet breakfast is amazingly good. Lots of variety both in Japanese or Western style. Excellent view of the city from the restaurant if you got seated by the window.

The property is a quick bus ride from Kanazawa Station. The hotel is clean and modern and the rooms are definitely bigger than you'd find in a business hotel in Tokyo or Osaka.

This hotel is close to Omicho Market and a short walk from train station. There is also a Japan Rail bus from the station and passes by if you don't want to walk. Kanazawa Castle was a short walk as was Kenrokuen Gardens and most other places of interest such as the Oyama Shrine, and the geisha area. The Ninja Temple was a bit further to walk, but there is a great tourist loop bus service. Staff were very helpful and we took advantage of luggage forwarding which staff arranged for us. Plenty of restaurants nearby including those in the Meitetsu M'za Deepartment store. There was also plenty of other nont Japanese cuisine retaurants nearby.

Great hotel, great location, incredible breakfast

We really loved our short three day stay here. The location was great - with buses to all the major slights within 1/2 block at most. The hotel is connected to a nice department store where we picked up bento lunches a couple of time. We especially enjoyed starting each day with one of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had, anywhere. Rooms are typical Japan small, but not uncomfortably so - as you would expect.

The staff was great but the rooms are really uncomfortable with a huge step to get into the bathroom. My mom had a difficult time with that. The room was musty and since we asked for nonsmoking but got smoking, they brought us an air cleaner.

This hotel is perfectly located, only 5 minutes walk to the market, and 15 minutes walk to the stunning Kanazawa garden. The breakfast is excellent with a mix of western and Japanese dishes. View from the reception floor is beautiful with view on mountains.

Great location and ammenities

Centrally located to all of the locations in the city. It’s an easy walk to the castle, gardens, and all the old entertainment districts, and all the tourist busses stop right outside the hotel if walking isn’t your thing.
The room was one of the biggest I’ve found in Japan and had lovely views of the city and the mountains. The hotel is connected to the shopping mall next door via the basement, with lots of food and shopping options, just note the hours are limited, only open from 10-19:30.

A great location. But my experience was not good with smelly shower curtain, clogged bathroom, and broken toilet. If it were half the price, it would bring the hotel back to a reasonable option. There seems reputation that this hotel is priced high - local taxi drivers information.

It was nice to have s hotel that appeared on the maps and was affordable. we had a fold out lounge made into a 3rd bed but it filled up the room. A nice bath and separate toilet. The kids ate breakfast free and it was worth doing as lovely mix of japanese and european food. Staff were very helpful with limited english. Nice view of town as guest floors started at 11th floor. a department store was under and loads of places to eat. Close to JR station and loop bus.

Perfect base for Kanazawa trips

Unless you're coming in from the correct angle (route #13), the hotel can be tricky to find. It's above a large shopping mall - their staff had to help us find the entrance... The hotel has great views on all sides of the building, spacious rooms and a great breakfast buffet. It's around the corner from Omichi market and in walking distance of Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenroku-en Gardens and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.

Good Location

This hotel is centrally located, about 5 min taxi ride from the station and well connected with bus routes. There are good shops and malls all around.

Room and bathroom was small and tired. Could do with refurbishing. Breakfast was good enough.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was a good base to visit all the places we wanted to see. We walked back from the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.

Great location. Close to most of the attractions in Kanazawa. 24/7 convenient stores downstairs. Very convenient, spectacular views, 10 mins walk from the Kanazawa station.
Although some staff cannot speak fluent English, they are very helpful and friendly for helping us to book nice restaurant for dinner during peak period.

One of the best ive experienced in japan for a single room. The view is stunning, service is awesome. A bit inconvenient to walk from train station as it is about 1km away. Other than that, it is perfect! Highly recommended.

Holiday Inn ANA is a short walk from the station, across the street from the Omichi market, short walking distance to Kanazawa Castle gardens and its tea house. The breakfast buffet that you can get with a nominal fee ( I think it was $10 extra per room! We had 3 of us in a room.) is superb with everything from western style breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, good espresso/ capuccino machine to Japanese style breakfast of sashimi and grilled fish, miso soup, vegetables, rice, and small salad bar. This place is a clean hotel with fantastic views. I only wished that it had a fitness center/pool but most hotels in the area did not have one so I went for this reasonably priced excellent hotel!

Great location with convenient transportation. Only problem I had was that it took awhile trying to find it. Hotel is on the upper floors of skyscraper building. There is no large sign or lobby on the ground floor.
