Place was nice. Cleaning was spotless that is a highlight. But, the rooms were NOT sound proof
I got the cabin number 20. There were some people partying in cabin 19. So could not sleep that night well. Could not spot a garbage bin for the area. When the tiny garbage bin for the room was full, there was no option to empty it put to somewhere. Even the room service had not done that. But overall i would say a good stay.

Our room was a portacabin that was brand new. Bathroom you can barely turn around in. Locked gate to entance of unit - keycode wouldnt work to enter or exit. Ruined our fishing trip as couldn't get out to leave. Had to get one of the permanent residents to use his remote to allow us to leave. Never staying here again.

Loved it tucked away cute little cabins able to park
Right next to and it’s spacious inside very nice again shower pressure icing on the cake especially when it’s cold hot water the best!!! Would stay there again !!

TV did not work. Maybe the remote's batteries expired ?Neighbours on shared wall were easily heard. Guessing there was limited sound insulation. Bed was comfy enough. the cleaner smell in all rooms was overly noticeable. Looks like they meant for 2 cars to park in between cabins but actually was not possible.

Clean and modern cabin in seperate compound out back, okay but not what I expected and hotel bar and restaurant all closed. It was public holiday so fair enough but I wish I was told as I was expecting to eat in.

The toilet was not working properly was piling up the water and has to wait to come down for another person. Said with free wifi, they denied giving the wifi when said mentioned not working but the tv was working not sure. Not friendly for a family who wants to cook and eat no oven , microwave was not functioning but replaced when request .

The room had everything needed for a vacation. All cooking needs were present as well as table, chairs and sofa to relax and be comfortable. Felt like I was at home. Even TV had sky available. I highly recommend this place.

The rooms are large, which is a real plus. The beds were super comfortable, as long as you find the extra blankets hidden in drawers. Bathroom was fine. The kitchen was only very basically equipped- no fish slice, no bowls, no coffee plunger. The cabins have a 1960’s feel in terms of finish, kitchen cupboards etc.

The doors need a little tweeking, they are hard to close and during the night wake everyone up if someone is getting up to use the bathroom. Also the pots need replacing, very old. Price is a little on the high side for a two bedroom,Other than that, overall a nice place to stay.
Lovely food in the restaurant, and service fast.

The property was in a convenient area, wasn’t too bad overall there were a few dislikes the couches were broken pretty much sitting on the floor, Beds were very hard and pillows need to be upgraded, No milk for tea and coffee and over an hour wait for dinner at the pub for over $300 a night you would expect decent furniture in the rooms

First time travelers staying in a an Inn as a family. Usually stay with family but this was exciting for sure. Air consitiong was amazing! Very lovely Housekeeper. Very helpful young man at tye check in desk. Will definitely come again😊

Totally disorganized.
No room service the whole time we were there.
We had to ask for clean towels each day.
No linen change on the bed.
Mix up with rooms when we arrived and we were put in cabins instead of what we thought were going to be rooms inside.
The photo of the hotel and surroundings was nothing like it looked in the advert on Expedia.
We were there 2 days before they rang to see if we had checked in.
We arrived at night and noone was there.
Won't go back there again

The unit was a surprise for the better as the reception in the hotel was a bit sus at first. There was no computer booking, only in a book. I did not like the fact they photocopied my eftpos card and drivers license. I have been told since that they did not need to do that. The unit was a surprise as it was at the back and away from the hotel. It was sufficent for what we needed and the bed was comfy. It was a king size which was nice. The bathroom was lovely except the floor of the shower was a bit slippery. Maybe a non slip tile would be safer under the shower. It was quiet as we were away from the traffic noise. Good car parking area, right next door to the unit.

Wifi does not work. reported to reception and was told that manager would check the unit shortly. No one turned up whole time. the condition of the unit (family unit) is rather poor including near collapsing sofa. in comparision with price paid, it is a rip off. overall should not be on the market ! thorough disappointment.

Due to the thunder /lightning the TV lost signal and did not come back. We reported this to management who tried to fix it but unknowing to them all units were out. We felt not enough was done to rectify the problem and was still out the next morning on departure- not good enough.

Our Accom was comfortable and had everything we needed. However, there was a mixup with our 2nd-day stay, the motel had double booked our room due to an administration error, their computer noted that we were a 'No show', I was not present when this occurred, fortunately, my niece managed to sort it out with the motel clearly we checked in on the first night or we would not have been in the room with a motel key. It eventually got sorted as mentioned but not something we would like to experience again. Lovely friendly staff who were very apologetic for their mistake.

WARNING, avoid for your mental and physical health

An absolute disgrace. It has blown my mind reading other reviews. The pictures shown online are nothing like what the place was like. I walked into the garden shed and it was a sauna, I had to leave the aircon on full blast 24/7 for 4 days, to spend as little time as possible here. There was no wifi when we arrived, the manager did try to help, “standing outside the door you get a bit of wifi” it eventually came on the next day only in one room! There were pubes in the bed from previous customers, the sofas are completely sunken in, you cannot sit on them. I felt so repulsed even making a cup of coffee. It was that awful I would leave the house around 9am and not return til 11pm, I couldn’t handle the depression of being in this dump. I couldn’t book anywhere else as it was NYE. I considered going back home it was that awful. Also there was no hand wash in the house, given the pandemic I was surprised.
There was a hole in the front door, a stain that looked like poo on the toilet wall. I cannot express how much of a dump this place is. The curtains had to be drawn all day to keep out the heat, the building is a shed, you could put a hole in the wall with your thumb. It felt like a crack house with curtains drawn all day, the weird smell and just the overall state of the furniture. To top it off, customers from the pub were rowing outside our dump unit one night, a guy punched the woman to the floor, police were called. This place needs to be bulldozed.

The plus side; The interior of the freestanding studio unit was spotlessly clean and had been fairly recently refurbished . It is part of the Westshore Inn complex which appears to be one of Napier's favourite spots . The meals are highly recommended.
The minus side ; The surroundings outside the unit are reminiscent of a mining camp , pretty much zero for ambience . It was pretty expensive for what it was ; we had stayed in upmarket Accors elsewhere for similar money . but perhaps Napier is an expensive destination . Once you get over the outside surroundings , OK for a stopover , I guess.

The only issue was the air conditioning which didn’t make all the bedrooms cool enough in the very warm temperatures at night time.
