Great location and wonderful views. The hotel itself needs refurbishment and is looking very tired. Our shower was a bit crazy too and ended up with lots of water on the floor. Food in restaurant was ok and staff really pleasant. Wouldn't stay again, we did as had a function there.

Our room was located ocean front but the view was obstructed by a private roller park business, noise from the road and some from equipment in the rooftop. All the furniture and carpets were very (VERY) dated. Furniture in bedrooms less than minimal. Blackout didn't full cover the window, installed Jacuzzi out of service. Insolation to hallway inexistent. Door locks are not commercial grade. The safe boxes were locked. Mattreses bottom quality.

Very noisy place to stay with the loud speakers playing drum and bass music all day and afternoon across the road at the skate park.

Check in was smooth and easy (side note: if you aren't credit card holders like us make sure you bring a CASH security deposit, our mistake for missing that but an ATM was just across the road at The Warehouse) Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked for the indoor pool but when we got there it was shut as it was leaking.
We were also woken at 6.30am by someone knocking on doors and yelling on the walkway looking for someone.
One of thr beds had a huge sunken area so you could only sleep on one side of the bed.
The room was really clean though and well maintained apart from the bed.

We had an excellent stay at Quality Inn Napier! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away.

Our room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with two comfortable queen beds. It was also very quiet, which gave us a restful and uninterrupted sleep each night. They kindly provided a portable double hot plate upon request, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. The toilet and bathroom were spotless—another big plus.

The location is also a standout—convenient and walkable to Marine Parade, which made exploring Napier easy and enjoyable. Parking was spacious and felt very safe, adding to the peace of mind during our stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

I liked that the room was moderised, however the pillows were awful and I struggled to sleep. The unit was clean, fresh and quiet but both the shampoo and shower gel were empty - I had to use the small bar of soap. I reported this to reception. The lock on the ranch slider was not easy to use when exiting the unit. But great location and good hotel.

Convenient location for Hawkes Bay Marathon

Went to Napier for the Hawkes Bay Marathon. This Hotel was in a great location to start the Half Marathon and to get the Buses to other start points and for Race Pack Pick up.
The beds were not that comfortable. There was a lot of road noise, which made for a unsettled nights sleep.
Short walk to City Centre to get dinner.

Good location easy walk to town on seafront. Close to supermarkets.Skate park across the road which is great for kids and they love it the music may not be to the taste of all if wanting a quiet spot but they turned it off quite early. Booked as had a heated pool but had a problem so not open which was disappointing.

Loved the location on the Marine Parade. Central, walking distance to supermarket, shops,cafes and restaurants. The sea view, from the balcony was lovely. The hotel services were very helpful and friendly.
The room was average, good sunblock curtains. King size bed but very uncomfortable, could feel the inner springs in the mattress. Had a spa bath, with overhead shower. The taps and temperature tricky at 1st. But climbing in and out of the bath required holding the rail careful foot placement.

Unfortunately parking is limited. Myself and other customers had to park on the main road as there is not enough parking on site.
I witnessed one vehicle reverse into another vehicle because the parking was so tight.
