Easy check in. Hotel is right off the freeway. The rooms are very basic and nothing flashy. You get exactly what you pay for. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are a little outdated and the water pressure in the showers are nonexistent. If you’re going up the road, I need a place to stay that’s affordable and easily accessible, this is your place.

We recently stayed at your hotel and booked three rooms in total. Unfortunately, one of the rooms — Room 327 — was located right next to the highway and was extremely noisy throughout the entire night. The noise was so severe that the four of us staying in that room were unable to sleep at all.

This situation caused us significant discomfort and exhaustion, and it seriously affected our schedule the next day. Providing guests with a quiet and restful environment is a basic expectation of any hotel, but Room 327 clearly failed to meet that standard.

Therefore, we are strongly requesting a full refund for Room 327 due to the unacceptable noise conditions. Please respond as soon as possible and let us know how the refund will be processed.

We look forward to your prompt attention and resolution to this matter.

They also have a laundry room that we used because we unexpectedly tipped our kayak in moro bay so I was able to get change and laundry soap to wash our clothes. Walls are super thin and you can hear every tiny noise in the adjacent rooms. I was woken up by 2 guys talking outside my room at 5:45am.

I would say this hotel is average, it wasn't the worse but it wasn't the best. You can tell the restroom was just quickly touched up and still dirty as in stains/dust on the toilet. The TV looked as though it had sun damage and could not be seen or heard clearly. One of the bed sheets had a giant stain on it. I can say I appreciate that the place did not have any vermin but it was very outdated and looked better in the photos.

This property was located in what seemed to be a residential area of the city. It was very quiet in the area. Across the street is a service station with a 24 hour convenience mart and there's also a free shuttle which will take you down the hill to the downtown area.

If you want to dine at a place closer to the property, you can walk about ten minutes to a couple of pizza places, a hot dog place and a retail area with Thai and Hawaiian cuisine.

Overall, the property is quaint but the furnishings are a little dated. It also has a pool and hot tub. However, the pool was a bit chilly and needed a bit of sweeping to remove the debris which was blown into it by the afternoon wind.

Parking is plentiful; and though still needing city approval, there are EV chargers on the premises.

Avoid if possible

The front desk staff was great: helpful and friendly. However, the property itself is another story. There was not enough room in the parking lot so we had to park on the street. The room had what appeared to be almonds (?) or some other nuts on the floor, as if the room hadn’t been vacuumed after the previous guest. The bathroom was extremely small and very dated; it probably hasn’t been updated in decades if ever. The cold water tap in the bathroom was almost impossible to turn on so we could only use hot water. The outlets were so old our chargers wouldn’t stay plugged in. The sheets were clean but I paid too much to feel so uncomfortable.

Nice hotel, but breakfast not so much

What they offer for 'breakfast' was minimal. While staff was in immediate area, they were not checking for replenishment of items that were low or missing. Area is crowded so if more then 3 people arrive to eat, get coffee, there is a wait as person fixes their coffee, etc. The small trash container was overflowing and they came out twice to replenish when someone called need to their attention, good thing there was a larger trash container by door. I would think they would be looking every so often to see what needed attention as their other jobs had not begun.

Unfortunately there was no bar of soap for the restroom, no remote control for the TV, and the landline phone to the front desk stopped working “Hot” breakfast is a hot water dispenser for instant oatmeal packets. On the plus side, the jacuzzi and pool were open (until 11pm) and the night front desk clerk was very pleasant, and the staff was attentive when I brought these topics to their attention.

I like to stay here because affordable, clean, pool,jacuzzi. One thing I would like to see would be fresh water in a pitcher of some sort to drink or fill our water bottles.
Also, there was a group of people Tuesday evening, partying after hours. It appeared that the staff did not address this.

Loved our one night stay. About a mile from Cal Poly SLO and downtown SLO. Employees were very nice and room was nothing fancy, but just what we needed. A bit bummed there was no fridge but I improvised with ice. Beds were comfy and place was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was cpffee, tea, oatmeal and pastries.

The price was right for a two queen size beds, room. The room was quiet despite being next to the freeway. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were good quality. Towels were newer and not scratchy. The shower in room 325 has been beautifully updated with new tile and glass door. The only negative is the property is showing signs of being dated such as older and mismatched furniture in the room which might be the disadvantage up against the “fancy” name brand hotels. For the great price, I would definitely book here again!
