Only stayed here for the last night in Istanbul, hotel staff was very polite and courteous. Room was complimentary upgraded and late checkout was accepted. I left my car in the car park (which you have to pay 10 euros - for one night) until 5pm with no extra costs.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Soap stains on sink surround remained there for the duration of the stay.Only one tea bag for two people had to ask for more on 2nd night of stay. Still did not give any milk for the gave up at that point. Cooked breakfast items were cold limited choice for 22euros per person

They work hard to keep the customers happy, they made us feel welcomed the very first day all the way to our very last day. ❣️ Such a wonderful bunch of staff. I would definitely be returning. It’s clean, smells lovely, fresh with a modern look. The food was lovely. It’s the first hotel I have been to that have gluten free products on display at breakfast without me having to ask for it. Biscuits, cake and bread. This is rare I was so pleased to see this. Every hotel should do this. To accommodate everyones needs. The front desk were so helpful with anything we needed and also helped us to find tours or travel and outside entertainment and site seeing around the Istanbul city. It was such a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The staff are loving, caring and really care about their guests. They go the extra mile to make you feel happy with your stay. Kemel Gigdem, Faith and Mashsun they were my favorites and Spa service staff plus The hospitality staff made breakfast feel great. Front desk is the best, they set the tone for the hotel and bring high expectations and you definitely see it. We will certainly be coming back.

Kemal night shift worker was extremely helpful though when I explained that someone on the tram stole my wallet from my bag. Travellers be aware of packed out trams that’s when thieves grab opportunities.

This hotel was not clean at all. The balcony room was nothing like what they described it to be. It was completely closed and it had bird poop all over the floor. The room was dirty and had mold. The bathroom was also disgusting. We had breakfast one of the days and it was so awful, food was terrible and it had an awful smell. I will say the front desk man(I believe his name was Osamn) was very nice and professional. He introduced us into multiple tours and the tour we finally chose was amazing.

The staff were very nice and tried hard to fix some of the issues. The room looked great and the bed was comfortable but it was dirty. I had dropped something on the floor and realized under the bed was never swept. Like 2-3 inches of yuck. The bathroom was nice but the shower was dangerous. The shower floor was slippery and had a crack in it and would bleed out black stuff. I ended up putting a towel down so I wouldn't fall. The aircon was not cold. It was like 80-85' in my rm and only cooled off after sun went down. Finally, the wifi was very spotty. Most times had to go to lobby to do computer work. However, I was offered another room but I did not like the location and it was smaller and no difference in rm temp. On the plus side: I could wash my shirts and they would dry by the time I returned for the day. A small grocery across street offered toiletries, fruit, drinks and candy. Hotel walking distance (10-15min walk) to Bizarre and sites, tram station very close and it was safe with a descent breakfast buffet/omelet in am. The gym and lobby area were clean and actually cooler then my room.

I have stayed in this property multiple times. staff are extremly well trained, professional and more so go out of their way to help. the service is unmatchable. me and my family have no reason to stay elsewhere especially the cost of rooms are relatively speaking lot less than similare hotels. highly recommend this place specially if you are a first timer in Istanbul.

Breakfast was a highlight with a very diverse & healthy selection.Our room was very quiet & comfortable, with the hotel in close proximity to restaurants, the light rail, which connects to major attractions in 6-7 minutes, 9-10 minutes for the Bosphorus. Extremely helpful staff. Essential amenities like bottled water is free. Walking distance to great eateries like Vefa Bozacisi which you won't find anywhere else. Note that prices near hotels for food is tourist price, if you walk 500m away and find places to eat, the food is nicer and cheaper.
Only downside was the hotel shower water pressure was really low. When we raised it staff were very helpful and sent someone immediately to fix the problem but couldn't resolve the issue. Stayed only 2 nights so I didn't bother asking to change rooms although they advised they could look into it.

1. The cleaning team was not cleaning. They would pretend thet have cleaned and onlybcover things up. I had to go to the front desk to ask for the room to be cleaned.
2. Some front desk staff tried to be polite but the front desk manager on 9th November was not polite. One staff called Erdal was not professional.
3. I stated in a corner room (302). I think its walls are made out of boards. You hear everything from the next room

This was third stay. Staff are kind, helpful and willing to go out of their way to make it a pleasant stay for you and your family. Hotel is in a central location to all shoppings and close to historical places. But the staff will make it so easy not only in the hotel but also to help you get around in the most efficient and informed way.

The Holiday Inn Old City was a fantastic choice for my vacation. I was able to walk to most locations in the Old City, which was a huge plus. If I did not want to walk somewhere or it was too far, there are several metro stations close by to the hotel. The hotel food was pleasant, with a large breakfast buffet and great dinner selections. The staff was very helpful and friendly, from helping call taxis to scheduling my covid PCR test. I am very pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn
