Great location, excellent service and excellent room. We loved the hotel, the restaurant located at the top of the hotel has a great view. Breakfast buffet has a great variety of options. You will be staying in the middle of everything you want to do.

The pros include the location and price.
The cons include bad wifi connection in the room and the room was noisy (drilling work around 10am and at night you could hear nearby room residents clearly and that disturbedy sleep)

The stay was good..clean and staff were very helpful.wifi is interrrupted in the rooms but good in the loby. We extedned our stay from 2 initial nights to extra 4. Spottless clean and the double glaced windows and very good blinds we had very good sleep.

The hotel is located in a commercial area but tbis does not detract from the hotel's eSy access to the Metro and Tram, just minutes away. The hotel is comfortable ans spotless. The room we had was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided each day. The walk in shower was excellent...lots of hot water. The breakfast was typical of Istanbul lots of choices ...cheese, olives etc. It certainly helped set us up for the day. Just to let you know that this was our 5th stay at this hotel. We probably would stay here again if we return to Istanbul.

Terrible hotel with rude staff

My stay at Yigitalp Hotel can be summarised in one word, horrendous. We booked two standard rooms but got two different rooms (one was much smaller than the other), the morning staff were very rude and refused to change the room on the first day. The air conditioning cooling system is turned off by the hotel in the early morning hours. The elevators got stuck and were never fixed. The rooms smelled like bad perfume and the cleanliness was ok, not to mention the really small TV’s ( I’m talking smaller than a laptop’s screen). The roads leading to the hotel are closed in the daytime. I would not recommend that anyone stays at this hotel.

No thrills hotel

The bathroom was very small with poor amenities. No tea making facilities, nor an iron was made available. Plus one or two items went missing from the room, so not a pleasant experience as I would have hoped.

Great Location and folks and food

Only and short walk away from train station or you can walk all way to Ayasofia. We stayed in a room with three beds which are all European sized. Can't ask for American size rooms or beds.....Very nice, clean and odorfree room... Staff was very friendly...The complementary breakfast was two thumbs up. I rated it 5 in all categories.... Highly recommended

Good location

The Hotel is good overall with convenient access to all attractions in the Old City. The main Issue I had was the smell of smoke in the room. I do not smoke. The room smelled like it was occupied by smokers or maybe the smell of some came thru the A/C vents. The rooms and furniture are old but clean. All in all it is a good value for the money.

Nice little Hammam in the hotel (not cheap, but convienient), They charged my room (1.5eur) for a call to reserve a table - first time that has happened to me in my life. but is says all about the service on the hotel and most places in Instanbul. If they can they will rip you off - so be very careful you have insist on paying market price and you have to know before or they will take your money. Especially taxis - if they see you with a suitcase they smell blood.

Breakfast was the highlight

The room was good and clean, nothing flashy, but good quality. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. The wireless connection, however, was slow, so I had to pay for the use of their computers. Breakfast was better than most American hotel cont'l breakfasts, nice intro to Turkish breakfast. The neighborhood wasn't the best, in the downtown shopping district. Not the safest to walk around later at night.

The room was terrible. We will never stay at this hotel again. The room didn't feel clean and it was not like the picture on the internet at all. We found the front desk personell very rude. The window looked out on an alley full of garbage and into the building next door. I can't tell you how disapointed we were.

Todo muy correcto, limpio y cómodo. Ubicado cerca de metro y tranvía, con lo que es fácil moverse. El personal es amable. Muy recomendable por la relación calidad/precio el servicio de transfer al aeropuerto.
Lo único que podría mejorar, sería el desayuno, que no era muy variado.

Es war ein Souterrain-Zimmer mit Ausblick auf eine Klimaanlage oder Generator eines gegenüber liegenden Geschäftes. Somit ziemlich laut, so dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Ich muss zugeben, dass es das schlechteste Zimmer bisher war, das ich in diesem Hotel belegt hatte.

Die Zimmer sind klein aber schön sauber.
Das Frühsrück ist leider sehr wenig Abwechselungsreich, auch wenn das Essen sehr lecker ist so ist sie nach 7 Tagen, immer das Gleiche, dann doch ein wenig langweilig. Sehr viele Dinge kosten extra, was leider in der Hotelbeschreibung so nicht explizit erwähnt wird.
Die Lage des Hotels ist gut und schön ruhig. Trotzdem ist die Altstadt in ca. 15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen und Die ÖVM sind 5 min fußläufig entfernt.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December 2017. As a Turkish traveler, I didn’t like the way personnel behaves towards native tourists. The rooms were quite narrow but i don’t see it as a big issue. Bedclothes have rips and tears on them. Food was not fresh and tasteful. If you only look for somewhere to sleep in, I’d recommend considering price - performance.

位置还行，打开地图步行导航，穿街走巷就能走附近蓝色清真寺、教堂、老皇宫、大巴扎等必去精典景点，也可步行AKSARAY地铁站直达机场，适合肯走的人，比车便捷省时。房间不大，但干净设施够用了，服务、早餐都不错。

Gute Lage, hellhörig und rauchig

Das Hotel ist nahe an Bahnstationen gelegen und somit sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig gestaltet jedoch sehr hellhörig. Man kann den Zimmernachbarn quasi beim schnarchen hören. Unser Zimmer roch nach Zigarettenrauch was für uns als Nichtraucher sehr unangenehm war. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig uns lecker.

Natürlich deutsch und auch andere Sprachen.
Außerdem fand ich Wellness Bereich toll
Für 50€ habe ich ca. 2 Std Masse bekommen

Schönes Hotel im geschäftigen Stadtteil Laleli

Ich war sicher schon das 5. Mal in diesem Hotel und kann es bestens weiterempfehlen! Es liegt im geschäftigen Viertel Laleli mit unzähligen Geschäften für Kleider, Lederwaren, Apotheken, Schmuck etc. Der grosse Bazar ist maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Weg zur Strassenbahn beträgt vielleicht 3 Minuten. Zum goldenen Horn mit der Strassenbahn vielleicht 10-15 Minuten. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich. Ich konnte eine halbe Stunde früher einchecken und eine ganze Stunde später auschecken und das unentgeltlich. Speziell zu erwähnen ist der sehr freundliche Chef beim Frühstücksbuffet, der schon seit 20 Jahren im Hotel tätig ist. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse sehr gut. Generell hat das Hotel ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich werde noch viele Male in diese Hotel gehen. Ideale Lage zum shoppen und für Sightseeing. Bestens weiterzuempfehlen!
