Disgraceful hotel and Hotels.com didn't help

This hotel doesn't even deserve a 2 star, refused late checkout by one hour although we stayed 16 nights in two rooms, AC was faulty for two days and the did nothing to help, the hotel is old and run down every thing is broken, towels are old torn and dirty, water and coffee first night only, breakfast is poor, lifts are hardly take two persons, no bins in the room, shower tray drain is blocked and water fills the floor of the bathroom, they booked me a taxi to the airport and then changed the price last minute, and the problems go on and on .....

Worst experience ever

It was terrible. I don't know what kind of hotel doesn't serve water. The front desk was rude, other was a their he offered to find us a taxi with extra money so he can put it on his pocket. And at the last floor there was Arab guests fighting, some of them drunk and singing. No respect for other guests. I would never come back again there

Good but could be better

Its a nice hotel, but the map that comes int he voucher doesnt have the real lication if the hotel. I had to walk a lot looking for it. The breakfast was good but with not so much variety

To small rooms, no tv reception, no airconditionin

Dark entrance unlike the photos on web site try dont turn lights on it is to dark every where you go
Only one elevator and it takes only one man with one bag
Room was so small you have to jump over bed to get on other side
I checked in room was very hot I set the air conditioner on auto and left room when I come back it was like 120 degree I asked the reseption they said ooo system doesn’t work

the located for this hotel wonderful and near to the market (lalile + bayazit) also near to fatih mosque you can walk around area easily
the services its so wonderful
but i get the small problem when i arrived my booking not arrived to hotel and i wait 15min in the reception

this is not 4 stars hotel

the pictures are not the same as the hotel is on real not the same colors or room! the AC was not working the room is very small even though they said it has a dining area !! i belive this hotel is 3 stars at max it can not be 4 stars !! beside that it has a central AC that means you do not control the AC temperature !!

The hotel is quite OK; a bit out of the way from the major attraction but still within walking distance. Staff is spotty, some speak English, some don't so requests for room service and other arrangements may or may not get done depending on whom you speak with. Beware of their taxi recommendation that was a rip off!

A hotel with no hospitality

The staff are not friendly at all. I came with my relative who was very ill. They kept us waiting for more than an our and after that we got very small room with three beds. The room was designed to have one queen bed not three single beds. I stayed one night then I moved to another hotel with cheaper price and much better service qualityquality.

Convenient Tourist Hotel

The small rooms are more than compensated for by the excellent hotel location within walking distance of major tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast good. Not 5 star but clean, comfortable and value for money.

Good Location

Had a lovely time in Turkey, but was expecting a lot more from the hotel after seeing pictures on line.

Staff barely speak any English and is very hard to communicate and were very unhelpful.

Felt quite ripped off on the day of check out where i clearly told the staff i was waiting for my airport transfer and he went ahead and got me a taxi and i thought it was my transfer only to be told at the airport by the taxi driver that the hotel had booked him. Loosing out on my transfer and having to pay 50 lira to the driver.

Hotel did not meet North American Standard

Hotel price was high. It should be 3 star hotel. No bath tub, no iron, had two twin beds instead of double which was very inconvenient, they charge for the mini bar, you must check out the hotel right at 12:00 pm. Staff don't understand English especially the girl on duty was rude and loud. Mehmood was great overall. Room was very noisy, next door neighbor was making noises until 4:00 in the morning. I did not use the phone but they told me that they would charge $35 per minute for Canada so be careful. Breakfast was acceptable, 20 minute walk to main tourist area. I don't have plan to visit Istanbul again.

Very pleasant small hotel.

Everything worked and did what it was supposed to. Things were clean and well maintained. Location was very central. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable. My room was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. I was unable to extend my stay for two extra nights due to the hotel being full but that was only testament to the place being quite popular. I suppose you could find very minor faults if you were sniffy but I stayed 4 nights and was very happy.

Fantastic - Excellent Value for Money!!!

This hotel was excellent in service from beginning to the end of our stay. The staff were welcoming and if we wasn't sure of how to get around the city they always provided us with excellent directions. Breakfast was delightful with a some changes daily to add variety. Our room was clean, towels and linen changed everyday. There was a spa area that we didn't use but looked lovely for some relaxation. The restaurant was open in the evenings for dinner even though there wasn't a lot of choice the price bracket was the same as the local restaurants. Everything touristy was in walking range. The area was open to bargaining in shops which was great they were also as cheap as the grand bazaar than the local high street.

\"A couple's experience\"

We loved the location of the hotel,if you don't mind a bit of a scenic walk,since my fiancee and i both love being active,especially after such a hearty breakfast.We had a great view and a bit more space than the other rooms,although we had to compromise on two single beds being pushed together instead of a double bed,which proved a bit problematic in the end when you are a couple. The breakfast was full and plenty to choose from with the most devine olives and yoghurt. The client services were great,and luckily they could speak fair english.Our rooms were also cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Our only REAL complaint,was that the carpet in our room was filthy,and we had to ask them twice to clean it,which they did.

Overall I like this hotel, except breakfast. When it came to 10 o'clock, the waiters started to lift the chairs on the table and take away everything you could eat immediately! In addition, there are not many choices you can have for breakfast, bot a satisfying buffet.

Give this one a miss for the price!

Having paid London prices for this hotel, I had high expectations. The reality was very disappointing. Our room, with an extra bed, was so small, there was hardly any room to walk around the 3 beds pushed together, the decor is in need of updating and the breakfast was average. Do not use the hotel Turkish bath as it is much more expensive that other local ones. The only redeeming feature was that it is fairly centrally located for site seeing.

Good value for a nice hotel

Close to most tourist attractions and restaurants, good access to tramways. The hotel was clean (one issue was corrected right away), the breakfast area was pleasant and the food was good. Our suite had a brand-new looking bathroom, while its furniture was comfortable but had a slightly worn out aspect. Overall it was good. The staff was courteous and helpful in giving directions / advice. The hotel has also a nice looking spa area (but we did not have time to use it). The hotel is close to the mosques and as such one can hear the prayers broadcast over the loudspeakers at various times during the day and night hours.
Would have no problem staying there again.

Hotel in zono strategica nel cuore della vecchia Istanbul. E' possibile raggiungere facilmente a piedi le principali attrazioni dalla basilica di s. Sofia alla basilica cisterna, dal gran bazar al palazzo di Topkapi. Personale gentilissimo. Unica pecca la colazione che per un 4 stelle è molto povera sicuramente da migliorare. nel complesso ottimo

Godt hotel med hyggelig bar og ok værelser, der indeholder det nødvendige for et godt ophold. Morgenmadsbuffet var ok med god variation. Der var lidt lydt på hotellet, men beliggenheden var rolig uden bilstøj mv.

Ruhiges Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage

Wir waren 7 Tage in diesem Hotel, sehr ruhige Lage eine Seitenstraße von der Hauptstraße entfernt. 5Min zu Fuß vom großen Basar. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut, Service der Rezeption sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist reichhaltig, aber gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hagia Sofia, Blaue Moschee und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gerade einmal 2 Straßenbahnstationen entfernt.

We were 2 colleagues travelling for business. The 2 rooms booked and payed where not avealable, and the hotel gave us only one very poor \"suite\", quite uncofortable and not very clean.
Breakfast is very ordinary.

Die auf der Internetseite von hotels.com hinterlegte Adresse ist völlig falsch. Das Hotel liegt auf der anderen Seite der Straßenbahnlinie. So mussten wir das Hotel sehr lange suchen. Das Hotel ist aber ganz ok. Das Bad ist allerdings sehr klein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Hotel in zentraler Lage neben der Prinzenmoschee

Das Hotel liegt relativ zentral, direkt neben der Prinzenmoschee. Zu Fuß erreicht man die Hagia Sofia in 20 Minuten, den Basar in 10 Minuten und das Goldene Horn ebenfalls in 15 Minuten.
Zum Flughafen kommt man mit einer U-Bahn/Metro, bis zur Haltestelle Aksaray sind es vom Hotel ca. 10 Minuten. Ein Jeton kostet 3 TL, also ca 1,10 €.

Hotel gut angebunden

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, da nicht weit von der Straßenbahn.
Wir haben Doppelzimmer gebucht und sehr kleine Frenchbed-Zimmer erhalten hinten zum Hof. Die Lüftung von der Küche geht um 6.30 sehr laut an
Triple Zimmer sehr groß und schön nach vorne raus mit Ausblick.

EL hotel tiene una buena relación precio calidad y está en la zona turístisca y cerca de restaurants y atracciones. Pero tiene un gran problema: los ventiladores del restaurant producen un ruido muy molesto que no deja dormir en las habitaciones que dan al interior. Pedí cambio al día siguiente a una habitación con vista a la calle y ahí no había problemas. This hotel has a big problem: the fan of the restaurant causes a big noise tha doesn't allow you to sleep in interior rooms. Be careful.

4 Nächte Städtetour. Zimmer winzig klein. Staub wurde nie gewischt. Die nassen Handtücher im Bad wurden noch nass wieder zusammen gelegt. Frühstück war für ein selbst ernanntes 4-Sterne-Hotel lächerlich. Frühstücksraum sehr niedrig und ohne Fenster, daher sehr warm und schlechte Luft. Nue englischsprachiges Personal. Saunanutzung war laut Ausschreibung inklusive. Sollte aber vor Ort für 60€ Eintritt in den Wellnessbereich zur benutzen sein. Lärm im Zimmer auch bei geschlossenem Fenster die ganze Nacht über sehr laut. TV Sender D-W, ZDF (schlechter Empfang), RTL II (Ausgabe für die Schweiz)
