Disappointing Experience – Hidden Costs!”

When we made the reservation, it was clearly stated that parking was included (50 TL per day). However, upon arrival, there was no parking available at all. The staff didn’t offer any solution or apology, and we had to use a nearby private parking lot that cost 50 EUR per day — nearly ten times more. This was very disappointing and felt misleading.

The breakfast was also below expectations, with a very limited selection and poor quality.

On the positive side, the hotel was very clean and the location was excellent, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. However, due to the parking issue and breakfast, I would not stay here again.

First Class Service!

Everyone was excellent. The worker at the restaurant, Leyla, was amazing. The concierges, Ferhat and Abdullah, provided first class service. I highly recommend this hotel.

We accidently double booked the same hotel, they would not refund due to cancellation policy.
And when we requested a 5pm check out they also refused even though we paid for an extra room for 3 nights which we did not use :( .
Also they put one bath towel for a 3 person booking

Staff never picked me up from airport has agreed through Expedia and also double confirmed with me by email my flight time arrival and so on . After feeling stranded I was helped by airport staff to get a private car to airport . When ask manager at arrival he looked at the sticky note regarding my name and pick up but then say I can it here but I don’t know y they didn’t pick you up . I will let you know he saw me every day and said not a words , we would say And short chit chat but he never mentioned. 2ndly bath was more like a washtub not a full-size bathtub

however shower was good fantastic pressure and perfect hot water gage as desired. I needed to change location closer to my hospital I was going to have op in But the refuse to refund me two nights I wouldn’t be there. I was also charged for an expired sprite date the 5/7/2018 that I left the full can there for evidence after a sip of the drink was how I enquirer after its date . I was still charge they say because I opened it . Charg was 6 times the cost for a can elsewhere

My review of hotel oran

I stsayed 5 days in this hotel. They have a travel agency on ground floor. They have 2 restaurants. They have a sauna but it wasn't working they we repairing it. They have a swimming pool to. They give you slippers. They don't have an iron to lend guests. I like their breakfast it's on the top floor. The front desk people speak good english. I will stay here again highly recommended

Lovely, polite and helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome and helped with directions, they also resolved any problems we had. Ridvan and co were excellent in helping and very friendly. Good location - Room for improvement

Room was comfortable and clean when we checked in. Housekeeping on the remainder of the time was very poor. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Tea and coffee sachets not replaced daily.

Cute, walkable neighborhood

This lovely little boutique hotel is about 3 blocks off a main thoroughfare. Just far enough to be insulated from the noise yet close enough to walk. It's up a small hill but the climb isn't strenuous. The hotel is more European than American. That is, the rooms and public spaces are compact.

Nice stay. I liked the neighborhood and the people working in the hotel. They are cooperative. However, following need to be reconsidered:

- Weak internet connectivity
- self ironing are not avaliable
- breakfast variaties need to be reconsidered

Good location for Sultanahmet

Booked this as a price/quality 4* hotel. The hotel is good, the breakfast was alot of choice and for this price fine. Rooms were clean, good beds. Tram 5 min walk and cheap to get around. Some other hotels are around this one with some bars. Its not a real luxury hotel in my opinion as ive stayed in a lot of 4/5* quality hotels. But for this price with friends its good. Wouldnt book this as a romantic hotel, but it all depends on your budget.

A 2 star pretending to be a 4 star

Phone in room did not work. Went downstairs to the lobby to be told that they don't have a iron and ironing board at night. That I will have to wait until 9am so they can borrow one from an establishment nearby (really!)
Great buffet breakfast, however the 8 floor view of Istanbul was not very unflattering.
The TV in the room was placed in a most horrible location so that it could not be swiveled and could only be watched from the sofa and not from on the bed. I got a deal at $55 on Expedia, so it was worth it for me. Anything more would have been an atrocity.

Stay away from this hotel

I am very disappointed with the services and professionalism of hotel staff. After I checked in, I used the phone to make an international phone call and they charged me 10 times more than the actual cost. They state, there is free Wi-Fi in the hotel, but actually it works intermittently in the lobby only. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was not available so I requested a new room. The signal was available only in one corner of the room. Of course, the bed was not in that corner so using internet was very inconvenient. I spoke with the receptionists about this several times but they were not interested in resolving the issue. The sheets were changed only once in six days, and floor was not vacuumed at all. The garbage cans were emptied daily. Although the towels were replaced daily, they were not clean. I noticed many stains on the towels, and they did not smell fresh for a hotel with four stars. The night before my departure I asked them to arrange for a taxi and asked for the price. It was reasonable. Tomorrow, after I put my bags in the car, the hotel receptionist told me that the cost is double. I refused to pay more because I have been told a night before that the price is lower. All in all, unprofessional staff, dirty rooms and towels, and lack of Wi-Fi are major characteristics of this hotel. For the money they charge, you can get much better service elsewhere. Spend your money wisely and stay away from this hotel.

Location perfect for shopping local and close to Grand Bazar.
Very helpful staff and speaking english , very very friendly and nice people.
Very clean room with Safe and TV and comfortable beds and we could control the AC in our room . Good breakfast .

Why charge in euros?

The hotel is reasonably comfortable but is in an area of Istanbul where you need to love shopping rather than the history of the city.
The hotel promised a sea view but instead I was just looking at buildings from my window even though I was on the seventh floor. I also asked for a double bed but was given 2 singles so the hotel didn't seem to take any notice of your preferences.
The strangest thing though was why was everything priced in euros when you have Turkish Lira to use? Maybe so that they can make more money from you?

Good hotel in quiet yet central neighbourhood. Both tram and metro around the corner, as well as many restaurant options. Old town and sights not far away.

Rooms are fine, clean and ccomfortable with the occasional shabby corner that could do with some renovation. Beds comfortable. Breakfast a little average in quality but fine. Special mention to the staff who were extremely friendly and accomodating. One problem with the room that we had was immediately and generously solved.

All in all a definite recommendation!

Bien placé, mais services limités.

Hotel très bien placé. Bon quartier,vivant , à proximité de du métro et du tramway. Le lavabo est bouché, l'eau ne s'évacue pas facilement. Le ménage est superficiel. Le petit déjeuner est limité, il faut arriver tôt le matin pour avoir du choix, ils ne renouvellent pas les plats terminés. Quant au hammam, certes l'accès est gratuit, l'eau est bien chaude et il est possible de réserver un créneau pour être seul, mais ça reste une douche bien chaude, il n'y a pas de vapeur, pas de condensation, bref le hammam ne fait pas sa fonction de hammam.

Bed was too hard to lie upon and too small (for 2 people).

Breakfast was okay.
Breakfast room was nice with its view over the city to the sea.
The staff was willing and very helpful, both with information to pulic travel and organizign us the second transfer (back to the airport).

The hotel is situated very close to the city centre. You can go by feet to reach a lot of the interesting places.

Situation vraiment optimale , au centre de toutes les choses a voir . A deux pas du metro qui vous emmène partout , mais tout est aussi facilement accessible a pied .
Personnel serviable , sympathique .
Un peu déçu néanmoins car le bar de l hotel est inaccessible, hors service .
On ne peut pas y prendre un verre un soir après une longue journee de visite . Il n y a pas de carte et le bar est vide . Obligé de sortir prendre un verre a l exterieur . Les chambres sont propres , la salle de bain aussi . Le linge est propre et est changé quotidiennement.
Le petit déjeuner est relativement varié , mais gros point négatif sur les \"jus de fruits\" qui sont de vulgaires boissons chimiques horriblement sucrées et même pas fraîches. Pas un seul croissant ou petit pain au chocolat non plus .
Dommage .

Saat 11e kadar temizlik onun dışında oda temizlenmez. Personel pek de kibar sayılmazdı ve arkadaşıyla konuşurmuş gibi konusmasindan hoşlanmadım. Ayrica şampuan yoktu sadece duş jeli vardi. Sabunluk kırıktı.
