From the airport transfer which was particularly difficult after landing to the superb reception staff service this was a lovely one night stay close to Charleroi airport. It may be basic but rooms are clean and warm , beds are comfy and the pillows outstanding , leading to a fabulous nights sleep. We didn’t do breakfast however
the restaurant and bar looked lovely. Little seating areas around reception . Everywhere looked very clean and well kept. Would stay again if using this airport. I would stay the receptionist who welcomed us and checked us out in the morning couldn’t have done more and is well informed , helped with onward travel advise. Bus stop right outside the hotel for easy transport to rail or Brussels Centre

A good hotel for an early morning flight. Easy check in, dinner at restaurant was nice, staff were friendly…
They provide a shuttle bus to the airport, which costs £20 per person. I do think this should be complimentary… you’re already paying for the room and there really isn’t another option for getting to the airport as it’s not exactly walkable.

Half the rooms don’t have doors on because they are, I guess being refurbished. The lift was out of service this morning so had to take the stairs up and down. I had a meal in the hotel. They sat me on a table where they keep the wine glasses however the lasagna was lovely! Close to the airport but not easy to get to. Bed was comfortable

CRL Airport has been designed that you cannot easily walk out. If you want to walk expect a 50 min detour.

Local bus runs every 30 min at EUR 6 per person. Alternatively hotel shuttle at EUR 10 per person. THIS MUST BE PRE-BOOKED.

Convenient location for airport - only stayed here as we had a very early flight out of Charleroi Airport. Room basic but clean. Mattress seemed a bit cheap and not very comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was good and on time. Staff very friendly.

Stay ok but AC not working

The stay was comfortable…we went to the hotel from the airport,we were not allowed checking inn..completely understand coz we were early..but the guy at the reception happily agreed to keep our bags.anyway we came in the night got the keys and went to the room..well made up no complaints but the air conditioner was not cooling..the temp was not going below 23degrees,and the light was flashing on it…the language was different so i could not understand much.
Plus we were super tired so did not bother much.
Next day we had a tour so left early and when back in the night i called the reception and the guy at reception told me to call back as he was busy…we waited till about 11:30pm,and called again the guy told that there is an error in the room and the ac is not working….he offered us to change the room but it was already 11:30 in the night and we had an early morning flight so did not bother..
So yes we stayed in the hotel 2nights without ac.rest no complaints.
So see what you can do reg this.

My husband, daughter and I absolutely loved our stay. The room was very clean, comfortable and for a family room, we were not expecting to have 2 toilets/ showers. The breakfast had great choices and we particularly loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were very friendly. They also have a shuttle bus to and from the airport, that runs every 30 minutes for €10.
We would highly recommended.

Meant I didn’t know the shuttle had stopped by the time I arrived at the airport at 10 PM. 50min walk and taxis wouldn’t take me without overpaying in cash due to the short trip. Finally found there was a bus which worked. Shuttle also costs €10. A simple email explaining the shuttle would have saved me a lot of stress late at night.

Location to the Airport is nice. The young lady who did our check in was very helpful and kind.

The room was a business suite. The water pressure in the bathroom was poor and there was mold throughout the room. Poor airflow is part of the problem. Pillows were above average, but overall cleanliness left us probably not choosing this hotel again.

Elegant and very convenient for a CRL early flight

The hotel is great and I would say it is the best option if you have an early flight through CRL airport. The rooms are in perfect conditions, only the bathroom might require a better ventilation system.

However, it should be noted that there is not much to do around the hotel other than enjoying some good time at the restaurant/bar downstairs, unless you want to have some peaceful time outside the city’s noise!

With regards to transportation to the airport, you will need to arrange it at the reception while you checking in for 5 EUR.

Really a nice small hotel , near the Charleroi Airport, EU hub fo Low cost companies.
It's just perfect for a stop when travelling on the Belgian Motorways going or coming back from Benelux or UK to the Mediterranean. Good rooms, really kind and useful personnel, Good restaurant. Private parking is for free.

We were extremely impressed with the hotel. It is in a somewhat secluded industrial area but inside is modern and immaculate. The beds were super comfy. The breakfast looked great which made me sorry i didn't pre-order it. The dining room and bar is very elegant. The airport transfer was very reasonably priced and arrived on time. I would recommend this property highly for airport stopover rooming.

All in all the hotel was great. Clean new rooms nice basic breakfast. Service is a bit problematic, shuttels from airport was for free, and to the airport charged us for 5€ each. We asked for a shuttle at 9am and the man at the desk told us to come 40 min before. When we came 40 min before he told us the shuttle will be at 10. It was 20€ for a 5 min ride which is absurd

Everything was fine. Room super clean except the carpet that needs renewing. A kettle and tea/coffee bags in the room would be a nice touch for British people. Breakfast excellent and lunch very good and well presented. Dame Blanche as a treat dessert to die for. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The property is real close to the Charleroi airport, but you also need a taxi. The hotel offers a taxi if you call the reception for 5 € per way per person.
The stuff is really friendly and the restaurant is open till 9:30 pm on a sunday evening.
We stay here for one night, but it's a perfect option for an earlier flight.

The hotel was overall ok - maintenance needs more attention there was mold in the bathroom, the elevator had an issue so we couldn't use it.

The hotel location isn't good - it's advertised as just a few minutes away from the terminal, but there's no way to just walk the distance.

They charged 32 EUR for a shuttle (5 min ride in an old dirty taxy).

We stayed with our 16 year old son. I loved the fact that the family room was an interconnecting room . Much better than a bed in the same room . Unfortunately the shower head needed repairing .
The bar was well stocked .It was unfortunate that we missed the restaurant however the receptionist was brilliant and gave us details of a local takeaway delivery firm . The drinks prices were also a refreshing change and we weren't ripped off. €4.50 for 500ml of stella

I liked that there was a restaurant and bar. My reservation of 2 single beds was not held by the hotel. They tried to give me a double bed. When I said I didn’t want that, I had to wait an hour for the manager. It eventually got worked out at 10:30 p.m., but it was a bother to have to wait and get that sorted out.

Nice food and room but can be noisy

The hotel restaurant is excellent and have a lovely selection of meals. Room wise, the bed was comfy, roomy and everything was clean but the walls are very thin so you can be disrupted with early and late check-outs or in my experience a screaming lady who was shouting in the room that was across the hall and opposite mine but I could still hear every word. Surrounding area is sparce unless you have a car and can venture out.

The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant. I told him that we would ned to shuttle back to the airport in the morning. He mentioned that the shuttle only runs in the morning until 9 am, so he booked us a return shuttle for that time. A little while later I returned to checkin desk and asked that he cancel the reserved shuttle as we would need to sleep later, and we would arrange for a taxi in the morning. Apparently he forgot to cancel the taxi as we had knocking on the door and a telephone call at 9 am telling us our shuttle was here. Very disappointed as we were still on USA time and hated to be disturbed.
