I was hesitant to book here as the reviews were very poor. I only stayed 2 nights as a solo person. But it was fine. Firstly the receptionist gave me a choice of 2 rooms which I appreciated. I chose the second. Although it was smaller, it was padded(not sure of the word I'm looking for) with wood. This gave the room a sense of stillness and comfort. I felt very cocooned. The bed was really really comfortable. There is a lift in the hotel and a kettle in the room.
The bathroom door slides but also pivots...I don't think that is meant to happen. The window in the bathroom doesn't close(its a small window, nobody can see inside!) This means that its fine in the summer..however if it was cold in Turkiye this would be a big problem. The hotel is literally next to the train station and Marmary.I don't mean close by..I mean right next to it so it's very convenient.
I didn't exprience the breakfast so I can't speak on it. However the area is very expensive so I went elsewhere to eat. The tram line to take you to the main sights of Istanbul is probably a 3 minute walk. All things considered I'd say it's okay for a single person for a few nights

Worst ever experience. Dont book this hotel

Worst stay. We were given a room which was not what we booked in another place not main hotel. The bed we got was not changed as we found hair and used bed. I have asked for change but they didnt change. Istanbul was raining and entrance door was very wet with rain water. The area is so noisy even at night that we couldnt sleep. Worst ever experience

Terrible! We were 2 adults and 3 kids who suffered a severe food poisening that we got in this hotel, without any doubt from the breakfast buffet. Our 4 y/o even had to be admitted in the hospital 2 days later. The breakfast is very poor. The worst is its not chilled and in a very warm eating area, uncovered and the way it looked maybe even re-cooled from day(s) before.

The staff is cold and distant and doesnt really make contact, even when you try to.

Our room missed many essentials, as a bin, simple hooks to hang your clothing. We traveled with kids but did not receive any extra sheets, they used towels. The bathroom was in bad condition,the bath dark yellow, just too disgusting to even stand in.

Honoustly the only good thing was the view of the water and for people who travel by train, it lies literally next to the station entrance.

So we recommend the location, but stay away from the food!

Excellent breakfast, in my favourite location, nice staff, cheap taxi to airport. But bathroom corners are not clean with green/black stuff growing. Still OK if you get a cheap price.

Loved Istanbul stay

Love the hotel location. Near all the sites Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, the Spice market, and Grand Bazar. Was also close to port where the cruises to Princes Islands and Bosphoros River tours leave from. Plenty of dinning places really close as well as the metro and trams.

Great location, lovely spot outside to sit and relax and really good breakfast included. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The rooms however needed maintenance, our room had balcony doors that when I tried to open one, it nearly fell into the room and a wobbly toilet seat and lid that wouldn’t stay open. Some power points were also loose and our room had a section of exposed cord coming out from the wall.

The hotel location is great, near to tramway and metro. The room is small. The housekeeping is poor. The breakfast is also not good. The presentation of the food is poor, there is no one following up the shortage of the food, bread and other thing.

Great location, good breakfast, good internet, close to restaurant and main tourist location. Great reception staff.

The room was not ready even though I had a late arrival, furniture was broken, toilet was dirty, no safe, no iron. There was no secure luggage storage, they leave guests luggage in the public lobby. In the room you can clearly hear voices from other rooms.

Ok but not the building I booked!

Very convenient for Sirkeci Station Clean, quiet and reasonable breakfast but my main complaint is I was not actually staying in the hotel I booked! I was put in a building across the road from the hotel in the picture. The room was small and scruffy and for $45 I expect much better, this is more than 3x what I paid in East Turkey for a much bigger room. You would get a better room and breakfast for this price in uk.

Wir haben dort keine Nacht übernachtet, haben unser Hotel gewechselt. Uns wurde gesagt das dass Hotel voll ist und wir gegenüber vom eigentlichen Hotel in einem Zimmer übernachten müssen, obwohl ich ein Monat vorher gebucht habe. Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht die Bilder. Es war sehr unhygienisch, Klodeckel wurde an die wand mit Klebeband festgemacht damit er nicht immer wieder zuklappt. Hotel Besitzer sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben auch Expedia auch versucht zu erreichen aber ohne Erfolg, der Chat Support war deaktiviert. Ich werde versuchen eine Entschädigung zu bekommen.

Leider müssten wir unseren gebuchten Zimmer umtauschen und müssten Rest des Aufenthalts in eine kleinere Zimmer.
Personal meist unfreundlich.
Frühstück schrecklich.
Sauberkeit schrecklich.
Einzig gute ist die Lage.

Overall nice. The hotel owner (i think?) is also the mascot of the place, and shares alot of joy with his unique cowboy outfit! Very charming! The hotel is located central to everything. Trains and trams are just a minute away.

Una vera truffa!!

Appena arrivati scopriamo che le nostre camere non si trovano all'interno della struttura ma bensì in un edificio di fronte in uno stato pessimo, le camere erano piccole, sporche con i muri scrostati e con muffa,il bagno era piccolissimo e con formiche.Il proprietario molto maleducato e disonesto, le foto sul sito sono ingannevoli in quanto non corrispondono alla realtà.Morale della favola siamo dovuti andare in un'altra struttura e il maleducato gestore si è rifiutato di rimborsarci la cifra già pagata.Pessimo da non consigliare ASSOLUTAMENTE!!

Also ich würde da nie wieder ein Zimmer buchen. Auf den Bildern sieht alles schön aus aber in Wahrheit ein NoGo. Ich kann und werde nicht dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. I really liked that this hotel was very central. Unfortunately there were some points which dissapointed me:
1. Rooms weren’t clean when we arrived.
2. Rooms were really SMALL! For 2 people we really had difficulties with this.
3. Although the workers at this hotel were quite nice and helpful, we have one aspect that was negative: we told them not to get in our hotelroom, but the cleaning lady was everyday in our room! Privacy is very important for and this was really disappointing!
I don’t recommend this hotel, so sorry!

Vorteile: mega Lage man kann zu Fuß zum Hafen, zur Hagia Sophia und Grossem Bazar direkt gegenüber des Hotels ist eine Metro Station, unten im Hotel kann man gemütlich sitzen und wird sofort bedient, Tee ist immer kostenlos, es wird immer Stimmung gemacht mit Musik und Feuerwerk was ich sehr schön fand, das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, Klimaanlage war angenehm, Internet sehr gut, der Preis war ebenfalls sehr gut

Nachteile: Es kommt immer drauf an was für ein Zimmer man bekommt. Als wir angekommen sind wurden ein paar von uns in Räume gegenüber vom Hotel geschickt weil es angeblich kein Platz gab und dort war er katastrophal. Uns wurde jedoch versichert, dass wir morgen früh ein Zimmer im eigentlichen Hotel bekommen was auch geschah. Ich hatte mit jemand anderem ein sehr sehr kleines Zimmer mit Doppelbett, wo kaum Stauraum vorhanden war demnach war es super eng, Fernseher funktionierte nicht, die Tür vom Bad war so schwer zu schliessen und Dusche war offen sodass immer der ganze Boden vom Bad nass wurde nach dem Duschen, zudem war es nicht wirklich sauber. Meine anderen Familienmitglieder haben aber ein Zimmer mit getrennten Betten gekriegt was viel grösser und schöner war mit Safe, Wasserkocher usw. Bei Ihnen wurde in 8 Tagen aber nur 2 mal sauber gemacht und bei uns jeden Tag. Also hängt viel auch vom Zimmer ab. Das Frühstück fand ich auch nicht lecker, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Fazit: Wieder buchen in derselben Lage ja aber ein anderes Hotel

Hotelet var bra. Väldigt trevlig personal alla receptionister samt städare.
Enda nackdelen med hotelet var hissen som fick plats med max 1 person och en väska.
Städning sker varje dag. Med ok städning, städningen borde bli bättre/renligare pgr av denna pandemi som finns just nu...

also die unser gebuchtes zimmer hätte wohl jemand anderes bekommen, darum haben wir in der 1. etage unser zimmer gehabt und es war sehr laut in der nacht so das wir gar nicht schlafen konnten, deswegen haben wir morgens um 9 Uhr das hotel verlassen. Nicht weiterzu empfehlen
