Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty with the staff keeping our cups filled throughout. The sauna and Turkish bath was a bonus for us. Room very comfortable and hotel conveniently located for all the main attractions, restaurants and transport hubs.

From the second we arrived, with the welcome by the front desk staff, to the second we left, with help with tranport to airport, super experience here. All staff exceptional, friendly, helpful, room was spotlessly clean, with lots of space. My wife made use of the excellent spa, rooftop restaurant is wonderful. Great time staying here!

Lovely friendly and helpful staff who were always welcoming! Rooms are clean with good enough space.
The constant supply of delicious turkish delights & tea was great. Also the turkish bath was such a nice relaxing treat at the end of each day after lots of walking!
It would have been amazing if breakfast was served up in the terrace with the amazing view.

We loved staying witth you!! the only downside was that we didn't have anyone come in to make our beds or give us fresh towels the day before we checked out. In other words, no one attended to our room before the day we checked out. Otherwise, everything else was excellent!! The breakfast was over the top! The room was very clean, the mattress was comfortable1. It was a larger room than most Euopean hotel rooms. The cosignere's were amazing!!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff truly made the experience outstanding—special thanks to Mehmet, Farid, Jamal, and Meret. Their hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism were top-notch and made me feel very welcome. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

The only downside was the breakfast—it could use some improvement in variety and quality. With a little more attention there, this place would easily deserve a full 5 stars.

Overall, highly recommended for the amazing staff and comfortable stay!

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Every team member we’ve encountered has gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The rooms are clean, the location is convenient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. However, if there’s one area that could use improvement, it’s the breakfast selection. While it’s appreciated, the variety and quality could be enhanced to match the overall standard of the hotel.

Despite this, the incredible service truly sets this place apart. We always feel at home here, and that’s entirely thanks to the dedicated and friendly staff. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back again!

Staff ( Matt and all the others) were excellent hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were lovely, complimentary coffee was offered whenever we wanted it during the morning. Rooms were clean and perfectly acceptable for our stay with robes and slippers and Turkish delight everyday ! Lovely thought. Pools
And sauna area very nice and we could shower there before we left . Taxis arranged by hotel to airport and yes slightly more expensive but they pulled out all the stops to get us there on time despite awful traffic. Location of hotel. Excellent for local attractions. Roof top terrace had amazing views,yet more fantastic staff and the best cocktails!
Advice given by staff was exactly right ! Cant recommend enough. Would definitely return.

Excellent Hotel in a Prime location. Close walk to AyaSofia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Taksim, trains buses, boats, shopping, restaurants. Don't know if there's a better location than this in Istanbul.
The Staff here is outstanding, special thumbs up tp Mehmet…very professional, genuinely friendly. They were all excellent and helpful hosts. Has a pool w/sauna, whirlpool. Turkish bath…. Nice quiet rooms, great beds, very clean…. Can't go wrong here…It's perfect. Big Thank you to all the staff here at the Neorion.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Neorion. The location was excellent and convenient especially if you want to take the light rail around town or walk to the mosques in Sultanahmet. For us, it was a quick five minute walk to the ferry in Eminonu which you can take to Kadikoy (if you need to get to SAW airport). The hotel is also only a ten minute walk to Galata Bridge to cross over into Beyoğlu where we found better shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to house keeping. The breakfast is very good and convenient including excellent coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice and other juices. Also. you gotta try the honeycomb for fresh honey! Delightful touch and delicious!

What we didn’t like was the bed sheets (too scratchy and stiff), the bathroom sink’s poor hot water pressure (Room 405), and the awful hairdryer which would overheat after only 20 seconds of use on high (no joke). My wife would have to wait 3-4 minutes each time to allow the hairdryer to cool off, which was beyond annoying. We asked for a new hairdryer but were told they all act like that so any replacement would be pointless. My advice to management is invest in better hairdryers. It may seem like a trifle, but the little things matter and not easily forgotten.

Finally, the pool and hammam in the basement are quite lovely, but it would be nice if there was better lighting and if the sauna could open before 14:00 hours.

Beautiful small hotel right in the middle of all the main sights. The dtaff were really friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast team. Our room, a standard double, was large with a door that opened to a juliette balcony which was lovely to sit and listen to the city. A small seating area was perfect. The pool area although small was a nice relief after a busy day and the Turkish Bath was gorgeous! The roof top was stunning and the restaurant was very good - we ate there twice, although the wine was expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a fantastic hotel choice for our first time in Istanbul. It is incredibly convenient to get everywhere. You can walk to many different parts of town, but there is also public transportation within minutes. Great restaurants nearby, a lovely breakfast buffet, coffee and tea in your room or anytime of day brought to you fresh. Refrigerators stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks refreshed daily. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, abundant hot water.

But the best part is the staff. They are just amazing and wonderful. They cannot do enough for you and will help you with every aspect of your stay. I travel quite a bit but this place blew me away. I’d stay here again without question.

Staff were ecxellent. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the roof top restaurant, which is highly recommended for the food, the view and to get away from the crowds and noise. Tram is 1 block away. Two tram stops or an easy walk to major attractions: Hagia Sogia, Cistern, blue mosque, palace, cruise or to cross the bridge. Rooms overlooking the street are a bit noisy but hotel provides ear buds to sleep. The AC and/or ventilation also help to dampen the noise. It's a big noisy city. You would be hard pressed to find a hotel away from any noise: car horns, traffic and call to prayer are a constant wherever you go. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant hotel in the heart of the old city

Excellent hotel. We got a room with a balcony so we could have some outside space. The bed was super comfortable, the living area was great and the bathroom was very well done with a whirlpool bath and very large separate shower. The staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was great and we made use of the 11am end time. There was a fridge and kettle in the room so we got to make tea. We particularly enjoyed the daily towel designs and the pot of Turkish delight left by the maid.

Istanbul is a very noisy city with the trams, car horns and call to prayer all being extremely loud. The Neorion is right in the thick of it so we took earplugs with us for sleeping. The hotel also provided earplugs. If you don't like the noise you are best to go somewhere else, probably not Istanbul!

Bad points about the room: There was nowhere in the large bathroom to put things, not even a towel rail near the shower. The double glazing in one window was cloudy so that spoiled the view. None of the mirrors were in the right place for shaving or doing makeup. A full length mirror would have been useful too.

The Neorion hotel is a fabulous 5 star hotel located in a prime district within istanbul. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dedash and Mehmet who retrieved our luggage from the sidewalk. We were then escorted to the lobby for hot tea and Cappuccino while we waited for a personal check-in to our Double Deluxe Suite with a bslcony.
From the staff at check-in to the servers at breakfast, it is clear that the staff take great pride in providing top-notch service for their guests. A special thanks to Dedash who was extremely helpful in developing an itinerary of activities to explore historic sites around Istanbul for three straight days and numerous options for dining. Also, a big thanks to Mehmet and Hatice who were responsible for serving the best free hotel breakfast in Istanbul. Without question, my next visit to Istanbul will include a stay at the Neorion.

The staff, cleanliness, amazing staff. All I can say it’s the best hotel in Istanbul and this is my second time staying there and will continue booking the same hotel on my return to Turkey.

Great area to stay in. Loads of local things to do. Walking distance from everything. Food could have had more vegan and vegetarian options. More variety also.

great location in the heart of Istanbul old city. Charming accomodations. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the people who work here. Always ready to help with directions, reservations and luggage. Organized a taxi for me to my next hotel. Lined up a guide for my first day and she turned out to be fantastic. I would stay again in a minute and highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Istanbul.
