We had a pleasant stay at the Golden Horn Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was very good. Some of the rooms are quite small; however, when we mentioned this, the staff kindly upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost.

The bigger room was fantastic and made our 4-day stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel’s central location is a huge plus, with metro lines nearby and many major attractions within walking distance, making it very easy to get around and explore the city.

We really appreciated the excellent customer service and the convenience of the location. Overall, a great experience and good value for money.

The room itself was excellent. Clean and in good repair. They were polite and responsive by email. When I got to the check in, it still took reminding them multiple times of my request (to have a room facing the back rather than front street). On the plus side, the traffic and mosques were almost inaudible from here. On the downside, I still heard my neighbors- who surprisingly had guests knocking on their door consistently at 8pm, 10pm, midnight, and 2am. Pretty bad. In addition, all the staff were grim men and did not even look at me when interacting as minimally as possible.

I liked the location of the place and breakfast was reasonably good.

The room photos on the website are deceiving giving a perspective that these are big rooms. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is tiny, you can barely move around.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were on the small side. They provided a good selection at breakfast. It was easy to walk to the main attractions in Old Istanbul. Restaurants are all around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel!

Very traditional hotel. Good location for the old city sites, dining. Transit nearby.
Breakfast was nice.
I really enjoyed the Turish yougart & typical turkish options.
Limied storage for hanging clothes in room. Only 1 small shelf in bath.

This hotel is an excellent location, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate and help guests. Rooms are a little small, but we were not in out room very much except to sleep. Rooms are very clean.

Had some maintenance issues. Toilet was not flushing. No mattress pads on the bed. The curtains were not hanging correctly. We had a nice room after upgrade. The initial room was too tiny for 2 people to be comfortable.. Very central to all of the tourist areas and mosques.

Would love to come back

I really loved this hotel and it's top of my list if I ever come back to this city.

The location so close to the metro that it's pretty much 2 minutes to the station, which is amazing. You can hop on the B1 line and head to the airports from here very easily. We took the metro to come and leave. But be warned that this entrance requires an elevator to get into the subway so it can get crowded. There's a proper entrance 5 minutes away.

The room we had was for 5 people so it was fairly large and has 3 twins and a queen. Very comfortable facilities in the room such as safe, refrigerator, AC, chargers and plugs, closet space, etc. Room seemed also to be somewhat soundproofed, which was fantastic considering we were close to the street.
Others commented about small room size but I was in a room for 5 which was great. Kid friendly in that sense.

Service and Breakfast were really top notch and something to really write about! I went to a few different hotels in the city and this was by far the best. Great service and a variety of different eating options.

Hotelden memnun kaldık. Biraz daha temiz olabilirdi. Çalışanlar kibar ve saygılıydı. Otelin konumu çok iyi. Bir çok yere yürüme mesafesinde. Otel önünde otele ayrılan yere park ettik.

Super Lage.Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch Straßenbahn.

This is a goodbudgetnproperty in an excellent location for walking to the central attractions of Isranbul. It is also close to the metro. The regular rooms are very small but manageable. The suites are very nice and closer to an American size room. The staff is kind and helpful.

Perfect location. Stayed for a few days and then travelled and property looked after excess luggage and upon return gave a room upgrade. Staff helpful. There were sewage smells in the bathroom which may just be the Istanbul system.

Great location, not very peaceful

Hotel location was great and bedrooms were good, all the basics were provided. The walls are very thin so you could hear lots of people moving around, particularly the loud cleaners who would chat away very loudly in the mornings on their phones making it impossible to lie-in.

My experience at the Golden Horn Hotel wasnt as pleasant as i expected it to be. during check in, i had to wait for 2 hours for my room to be prepared. after entering the room i have realized that it was nothing like the room from the picture. the service was ok. overall not a bad hotel. but for sure woudnt book thsi hotel again.

Superb staff, location, and comfort!

The staff of the Golden Horn made me feel right at home. Breakfast is ample and traditional; Mr. Seckin takes care of everyone and is especially good with children. Try the \"menemen\"--a Turkish way to eat eggs. The desk manager Erdogan is also a treat--he organized my COVID test and a hamaam visit for me, and was always ready with information and a smile. The location can't be beaten--walk to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Suleiyman mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge, etc. It's right on the tram line too so convenient and impossible to get lost. Finally, the rooms are comfortable, with fridge and great water pressure! I found the bed very comfortable with heavy duvet covers and plenty of pillows.

I would definitely recommend this hotel because it’s great location and very good services- most of the objectives were in walking distance and for the rest very close we had the metro station that allowed you to go basically everywhere really fast. Seckin Kaya along with his team went above and beyond to fulfill all of our requests and always with a smile on their face.
A great plus was the parking space that was available in front of the hotel. We were offered masks everyday and hand sanitizer were everywhere you might need it (on the hall ,elevator, dining area)

Расположен в самом центре Стамбула, рядом в 5 минутах ходьбы Айя-София, набережная, голубая мечеть, гранд базар.
В номере чисто.
Работает кондиционер, поэтому в номере было тепло.
Завтрак хороший, несмотря на пандемию.
Отдельно хочу поблагодарить за отношение и обслуживание в этом отеле.
Сычкин, был очень добр и отзывчив!
А какой там шикарный вид с террасы!
Очень рекомендую этот отель!
Останавливайтесь там обязательно!

In terms of my experience and other facilities/ I must say that I had some small issues but they were resolved really quickly.

Great stay at Golden Horn

Very happy with stay. Location was excellent, easy to walk to such sights as Hagia Sofia, Topkapi. Tram stops nearby. Lots of restaurant choice all close by. Good breakfast choice on upper level of hotel with marvelous view, friendly staff. Rooms nicely ornate but tiny. Bed was hard and towels were old, but when I asked that they be changed, hotel was very accommodating to our request. This is the Golden Horn Hotel Sirkesi. There is a second Golden Horn Istanbul hotel, so travellers need to make sure they are booking their preferred choice. Wifi works fine.

Otel konum olarak çok iyi, gezilecek yerlere ve restorantlara rahatlıkla ulaşabilirsiniz. Sakin ve sessiz bir otel memnun kaldık. Tek negatif bulduğum temizliğin hijyen olarak bi üstmseviye de olmasını isterdim, özellikle lavabo bölümünde. Öneririm rahatlıkla gelip kalınabilir. Kahvaltı da gayet yeterli ve manzarası çok güzel.

Hotel very well located to visit main atractions as Agia Sofia, Blue Musque, Basílica Cisterna, Grand Bazar, and the beautifull streets of the city. Everything is walking distance.
The rooms are a little small, but everything was clean.

Notre sejour c'était bof en général on s'attendait a mieux,surtout en terme de déjeuner catastrophique au prix qu'on a payer l'hôtel (pas assez de choix en terme de déjeuner notre vue était entre les murs qu'on entendais le moteur de la clim)
