We had 2 separate rooms on same floor for a family of 4. This hotel was fun and quirky with all its artistic additions and decor. Breakfast was plenty with lots of selection. Turkey is full of smoking and this hotel had a scent of it coming from the foyer or front door where the front staff of all the hotels would gather to smoke. That would be my only complaint of the location but it was everywhere so we got used to it I think. The room was warm for us and couldn’t figure out how to use the AC but we also did t ask and just cooled
Down by keeping the balcony door open. Balcony was enjoyable to sit out in and watch the hustle and bustle of the city and listen to the call to pray from the Aya Sofia. This hotel is perfect location to explore all the highlights of the Sultanahmet area.

Clean and comfortable budget hotel

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort. Bedding and bathroom were clean; bed was comfortable; water pressure was good and the bathroom was clean. The walls are rather thin, but overall, this was a nice budget stay in an unbeatable location. Front desk staff were also really nice. We'd recommend this for someone looking for a good, budget option.

Great boutique hotel in sultanhamnet area of Istanbul. Compared to the surrounding streets it was nice and quiet.
The rooms were well decorated and stylish. We had two rooms, both the same standard, however one was small and the other was very large. Both were well equipped though.
Breakfast was very nice with good variety every day.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
My only gripe was we got stuck in the lift one night and no matter how many times we rang the lift alarm, banged on the door and pressed the call button, no staff came to help. Luckily my wife was able to open the door from the outside to let us out.

Hidden gem in Istanbul

A hidden gem in the heart of Istanbul. Very cozy hotel with only a few rooms and with a personal touch. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is very nice too. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I ever go back to Istanbul.

Communication was great from start to finish with Osman.
Our room was exceptionally designed with an Ottoman theme. Very comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well, shower fine. Great reception and maid service.

I did not like that there is no lobby.
One of the waiters in the morning was not very interested in working.
He was always looking at his cell phone and not paying attention to the guests.

I asked for a room on a high floor that was quiet.

I stayed for 13 nights and I had the worst room.
It was very noisy and there was someone smoking next to my room that was very irritating for me.
At breakfast for 3 days they had no tomatoes.
All they had to do was go to the local market and buy some tomatoes. The market was a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

this is a wonderful, intimate boutique hotel right in the middle of Sultanahmet district, just minutes walk away from Haiga Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the beautiful Topaki Palace. I would highly recommend the hotel, friendly service, homecooked breakfasts, and gorgeous Turkish-inspired interiors. The balconies were delightful, and the windows tight and shaded, making it a true respite away from the busy streets below.

On check in, I received a warm welcome, but the hospitality ended there. They were unhelpful in navigating travel arrangements and became aggressively rude when a friend came to visit, threatening to call the police if he didn't leave. The room was small even by big city standards and the bed linens were nice, though the mattress was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. The breakfasts were lavish and lovely and the location convenient to tourist sites, but noisy and full of tourist trap restaurants. I won't stay here again.

Perfect location to visit old Istanbul

I stayed with my wife for a short city break. Hotel location is perfect and close to all major tourist locations. Just few minutes walking distance from Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Blue mosque, Sultan Ahmed Square and Old bazar.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and clean. A must stay hotel..

Hotel is in the area close to many popular sites. Nice and clean hotel, with courteous staff. Bath room was very small, but that was expected as the hotel is located in the older part of the town. The view from the rooftop restaurant is fantastic.

Service and hotel style/condition were not great

We traveled to Turkey for two weeks for our honeymoon and this was the hotel that we enjoyed the least. Most of our hotels were in the 200-400 USD a night range, but this hotel felt VERY inferior to any other hotels we stayed in, both in terms of comfort and style as well as level of service. The rooms were carpeted and seemed a little run down, and the door to the restroom was completely transparent, which was a little awkward in such a small room! When we asked for a recommendation for dinner, the hotel sent us to a VERY touristy spot that pushed food on us and we ended up spending over $200 for a dinner that was not very good. When we told the hotel about this they dismissed us and even though they said that the manager would address this with us he/she never did. There are so many great hotels in Istanbul in more interesting neighborhoods a bit more removed from the touristy sites...I would definitely opt for a better option and pass on this hotel.

Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

Very small room. We wanted two twin beds instead of double, but was told that it was a 25 dollar upgrade. I have never heard you have to upgrade to twin beds and steep price. Bed covering was bit rough. Staff was helpful getting a taxi ride to sabida gokgen airport. Had trouble with wifi working

Nice Boutique Hotel near Topkapi and Agia Sophia

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to major sites. (Agia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Archaeological Museum etc). Very nice staff, always ready and willing to be of service. The people at the front desk were very knowledgeable and their suggestions were always honest and very helpful. Take their advice when booking activities/tours because they know which companies are more professional. Breakfast was included and there were a number of choices very nicely prepared. We had lunch at the hotel and it was very good and affordable. Even though our room was small, it was nice and clean with crisp white linen and bath towels. The only negative comment about the room is the carpet. We would have preferred a room without a carpet. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Quality of the service is excellent. The staff are friendly, giving you advice and tips for your trip. They can book excursions and arrange tours. The hotel location is perfect, just five minutes away from Sultanahmet park where some of the main attractions are located. It is also around 10 mins from the Galata bridge. Also there's grocers, pharmacies, souvenir shops and places to eat just round the corners. The food is the cafe downstairs was delicious.

One negative point is that my room was on the first floor with the road in front of my room, so I can hear the traffic all night. I would advise you to book away rooms on higher floors and away from the road.
Overall I'm enjoyed my trip in Istanbul and my stay at this hotel. I'll probably come back to this hotel and I recommend it to others.

Fabulous funky experience in Sultanhamet/Istanbul!

This was an incredibly funky hotel in great walking distance to the major attractions. But the neighbourhood also had a simple vibe about it. Although I expected it to be noisy, the room was quiet, curtains helped it remain dark when I was tired. Service was extremely friendly. They obviously enjoyed having customers to take care of.

Cool hotel with 11 different themed rooms. We took a cab from the airport and it cost us just under 50TL but if you wanted to save money and take public transport then it is located within an extremely short walk from Gülhane tram stop. It was also close to some of the major attractions.

Had to spent first night in the 2 x single beds as for some reason our room was not available. had to then change the room on the next day, where tehre was no blanket. when we got one it was for the single bed. not happy with the service. as a sorry got 250ml bottle of red wine. would not stay there again.

Excellent location, positive experience

This is a cute little place very well located and a little bit of extra effort put into design. We enjoyed the room, the location, the service and also the little bistro downstairs. The breakfast was very good. The one negative comment we have is that the receptionists were of varying standard. While two were very good, the third one clearly had difficulties in understanding us and ended up giving totally wrong advice. That seriously affected our plans, as we followed his advice and scheduled for Sunday things that turned out to be closed.

旧市街の中心地で、トラム駅に徒歩１分と観光に非常に便利な立地です。
スタッフは親切で、イスタンブールとしては朝食がおいしいです。
その一方で、設備機器の保守状態がよくありません。
トイレの水を流すボタンを押すと戻すのに苦労します。
部屋ドアを内側からロックするのは技術が必要です。

Deuxième séjour d'une semaine dans cet hôtel cette année. Il est extrêmement bien tenu et d'une propreté irréprochable. La literie est très confortable et l'ameublement de qualité, le tout offrant une décoration intérieure agréable et contemporaine (la paroi vitrée de l'ascenseur est une grande réussite). Le personnel est toujours accueillant, serviable et gentil. L'établissement se trouve à quelques dizaines de mètres du tramway T1 qui dessert un très grand nombre de lieux des deux côtés de la Corne d'Or. Dans la même rue, à environ 200 m, il y a même un accès direct à la station du métro de Marmaray qui relie l'Asie à l'Europe en cinq minutes (et même l'aéroport de Sabiha Gökçen avec une correspondance par le métro M4 à Ayrilic à deux stations de là). Une très bonne adresse.

Bom, mas com alguns problemas

A localização é excelente, proxima de varios pontos turisticos para ir a pé.
Inicialmente nos deram um quarto bem menor do que o reservado, tivemos que dormir a primeira noite neste quarto. Mudaram nosso quarto para outro maior, mas que tb nao era o que tinhamos reservado. O quarto era bem decorado e muito limpo, porém muito escuro.
O ar condicionado parava de funcionar a noite. O cafe da manha era bem gostoso, mas havia um garçon bastante rude (chegamos proximo do horário final do café da manhã e ele veio nos dizer para chegar mais cedo no dia seguinte)

The stay was OK. However, the entire experience ended up turning into true hell on the last day. I already knew about the bad reputation of the city's taxi drivers and I myself was the victim of at least 3 taxi driver extortions during my stay in Istanbul. For the journey from the hotel to the airport, I asked the hotel for recommendations and they recommended a driver. I confirmed the price , which would be paid by card at least 5 times so there would be no problem. unfortunately to my surprise the taxi driver, in addition to driving recklessly, answering the phone all the time, upon arriving at the airport wanted to charge me more than we agreed, claiming that my card was not local and he would incur fees. I said that this was not what was agreed with the hotel, but he still resorted to shouting and threatened to call the police. I know that the taxi driver is not a hotel employee but the experience was terrifying. It took at least 15 minutes for the taxi driver to agree to charge me the agreed amount. Never again. Hypnos never again. The employees at this hotel recommend dishonest taxi drivers as \"friends\". It ruined the experience.

Upon our arrival we were assigned the room on the 4 floor,the room is a \"comfort\" but it is very small,all furnished in black and very dark even when we turn on all the lights,we notice that the bathroom door does not close completely,it is a sliding door and it remains open by about 30 centimeters,we notify the reception where a very annoyed employee doesn't even take us into consideration,I write a review on expedia and the next morning at breakfast another employee asks me and they finally fix the door. On the same day me and my husband we get stuck in the lift,we sound the alarm and no one comes, it restarts and it gets stuck again,we ring but nothing. My husband manages to open the door and we go down on foot, the guy at the reception is busy playing with the phone.
We were scared because there was no air
They write to me and ask me why I still complained about the room and I explain to them what happened and that the problem isn't the room,they tell me that the elevator is fine that maybe I touched something and that it wasn't possible was blocked,this goes on for a while but in the end they apologize.
In the following days my husband no longer takes the elevator but takes the stairs and I get stuck again, he calls the employee and finally sees that I was stuck.
For the rest, the hotel is in a perfect location and the breakfast is not a buffet but prepared fresh,not very varied,but good.
The wifi works great and the room was clean and the bed very very comfortable.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. La décoration, différente pour chaque chambre, est vraiment de qualité et fait appel à des matériaux de qualité. Le personnel, très professionnel, est serviable et sympathique.
Notre chambre, au quatrième étage (avec ascenseur), offre une belle vue sur Sainte-Sophie.
Excellente situation dans un quartier historique avec beaucoup de restaurant. Le tramway T1 se trouve à quelques dizaines de mètres et offre des déplacements très faciles.

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten (Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Blaue Moschee, Großer Basar und Galata-Brücke) sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Frühstück wird auf Platten serviert und sehr nett angerichtet. Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, leider etwas dunkel.

Das Hotel war wirklich klasse. Sehr schön eingerichtet und am wichtigsten, es war sauber. Das Team war auch super nett und hat einem bei Fragen immer geholfen. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine kleine Karte. Die Sachen werden frisch zubereitet. War auch immer lecker.
Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt. Nur wenige Minuten zur Bahn oder zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Das Hotel kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen.

L'hotel è in una ottima posizione. A pochi passi dalla fermata del tram e dalle maggiori attrazioni della parte storica della città. Ottima colazione alla carta preparata al momento. Possibilità di chiedere più cose in un'unica ordinazione. Camere non molto grandi. Sarebbe utile aggiungere qualche attaccapanni. Doccia molto spaziosa. Manca un po' di cura nei dettagli. Hotel che comunque consiglio ed in cui ci ritornerei.
