The hotel is in an excellent location. Very vibrant area with lots of food options, and all the main attractions are within walking distance.

There is a tram station is right outside the hotel which is very convenient if you intend on using the tram. However, if your room is at the front side of the hotel then it might be a bit noisy, especially on the lower floors.

I stayed in the deluxe room with bath tub (room.405). The tub is jetted which is the only reason I picked this hotel. However, it didn't work!! The bath tub also leaked and the sealant around the tub and shower screen needs refreshing. The room size is very good but the furniture although workable could do with a refurb. The air con wasn't blowing out cold air and was more like a fan. I reported this to staff and a day later it got fixed after I spoke to them again. However, on the last day it stopped blowing out cold air and became like a fan again!

The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. 5 star staff for sure!

Breakfast could do with being a bit better but its reasonable.

If all you want is a place to put your head down at night and be in a good location then this hotel is fits the bill.

We booked the hotel as the one we originally booked through Expedia Grand Hurriet let us down. So on the day of arrival we booked the Constantine and from our arrival they were fantastic and check in was quick and the room itself was well laid out and amenities were included. Location is also close to many sights and I would definitely book there again

Cramp, not suitable for light sleeper

Location: right in front of Gulhane Tramway station, which is both good and bad. Good - convenient. Bad: the screeching sound of the tram and the bells... if you are a light sleeper, skip this place. If you can sleep with a bit of noise, go for it.

Room is too small. There’s hardly any walking space between wardrobe and bed.
For this price, if you are going to stay for a night, why not. Not recommended for couples, family or Long stay. Singles, friends who don’t mind tight spaces, go for it!

Nice location, lousy hotel

Fine location and acceptable breakfast, but the room where in a bad condition, they didn't have room for us the first night, and the key to the door didn't work for long at a time.
The staff where pretty friendly, but the sold us a trip at 200 lira, which it definitely wasn't worth.

So a great time in an amazing city, but you can find a better hotel than this :)

As a mature couple,we stayed five nights at the Constantine hotel.
It was simply fantastic from location to services and of course the professional management and staff.as an airline pilot who stayed in over a thousand different hotels and resorts,for over 40 years of my career,it's the first time I feel I'm at home ..

Tiny room, A/C not working properly . Noisy as well. Not as clean as expected .
Except for one staff member, others could not converse well in English, which makes it very difficult for travellers.
Not very helpful, as there was a taxi strike , when we landed. Hotel could have helped with some shuttle facility.

A reasonable hotel in the centrum of Istanbul

We had a stay of 7 days in the hotel. The hotel is right in the centre of Istanbul so that was good to move to everywhere. We just had a stay in the hotel and no breakfast or any meals.
The hotel personnel were nice to us. We knew that the hotel was combined with a clothing store, but they have taken this very seriously. You have to go through the store to come to your hotel room. There were a couple of stairs for which we had to carry our baby buggy so we wish they would have put a stair way so we can just drive our buggy to the hotel room.
We had a family room as we have a baby of 7 months, but however there was no decent baby bed. We fixed this by combining another big bed so the baby could not fall of the bed. The wifi was nice in the hotel to check the news. Also the batch room is really nice. However, the room lies in such way with the window that the room was not filled with much light. When looking outside the view was to a grave yard. That could be better. The power point for electricity hung loose so that could also be dangerous.
So overall it is a normal hotel room where you can stay and rest, but do not expect much of it. I notice the hotels around Sirkeci are overpriced and are normal hotels (ok), but for the prices they ask I would say the hotels could be much better. The big advantage is off course the location so in the centre of Istanbul.

Room was dirty. There was a large amount of dirt in exaution in bathroom and under the bed suggesting that a good clean was not made for a considerable period.
Room is very small with few space to leave our luggage. We had to open it over the bed.

Bad! In one word BAD. I am a years of customer of the constantine hotel but I Will never return to this hotel agian! First day the airco and there were No power in the room. Then They changed the room to a tram station. I told specific told iT I didnt want to this room Because you Will wake up by the noise of the trams . The next day they they told me to change the room but they forget it.

Location is very good. Opposite to tram station you can see the hotel clearly. Eventhogh elevator us very small nut usable to carry big luggage so don't worry. Staff is aldo helpful for check in process and also check out process. Staff in food room is willing to take care everyone and welcome to everyone. GOOD.

Perfekte Lage(zentral), nettes Personal, Essen gut

Direkt an der Straßenbahn leicht zu finden. Bei Ankunft am Abend freundlicher Empfang und sofortige Zimmerzuweisung. Info zur Stadt inklusive. Zimmer freundlich eingerichtet, klein aber ausreichend. Soweit sauber, gutes Bett, alles soweit funktionsfähig. TV nur türkische Sender. Schon am nächsten Morgen war klar, Renovierungsarbeiten in den Stockwerken oben drüber, nicht zu überhören. Hämmern, Staub, Handwerker und ähnliches. Aber ich war sowieso immer unterwegs, störte mich nicht. Wenn es abends mal zu lange dauerte, hab ich an der Rezeption angerufen und es war zeitnah leise. Wasser war auch ab und an nicht mehr da. Aber ebenfalls nach Anruf an der Rezeption zeitnah wieder angestellt. Zwei Nächte später Wasserschaden im Bad, Umzug noch in der Nacht. Am nächsten Tag noch mal Umzug in ruhiges, schönes Zimmer, obwohl nur noch eine Nacht im Hotel. Nettes Essen und Tee aufs Zimmer gebracht, als kleine Entschuldigung. Personal immer sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Frühstück war reichlich (von süß bis herzhaft) und sehr lecker. Bis 10.30 Uhr obendrein recht lang. Für Kaffeeliebhaber allerdings nur Nescafe. Ich würde wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Von mir trotz Umbau ein Plus!

Letztklassiges Hotel, die Umgebung teuer!!!

Positiv ist nur die Nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten (alle zu Fuß erreichbar) und die Straßenbahn! Wir haben 2 Zimmer gebucht im 1. Stock: Tapeten teilw. heruntergerissen, viel Schimmel, desolate Badearmaturen. Extrem harte Matratzen! WC-Spülung funktionierte sporadisch! 1 mal morgens kein Wasser! Beschwerden an die Rezeption wurden ignoriert. Renovierungsarbeiten im 3. und 4. Stock - Dreck! Sehr hellhörige Zimmer. 1 Zimmer hatte das Fenster in einen dreckigen Lichtschacht-muffig! Safe im Kasten unverschraubt.

Optimaler Ausgangspunkt

Das Personal ist freundlichg und hilfsbereit. Das typisch türkische Frühstück ist angemessen und ausreichend. Das kostenlose Internet im Zimmer ist etwas schwerfällig. Im Fernsehen können einige englischsprachige Programme sowie ARD und ZDF empfangen werden.

Es un hotel muy acogedor

El hotel es de tres estrellas pero tiene prestaciones como si fuera de cuatro, ya que tiene nevera, secador de pelo, televisión plana, aire acondicionado - calefacción, y todos los utencilios necesarios de aseo, incluso zapatillas. Nuestra habitacion era muy tranquila, cama matrimonial extragrande, baño muy bonito, todo reformado como si fuera nuevo. Ademas esta situado en un lugar estratégico muy céntrico, se puede ir andando a todos los sitios de interés de la parte antigua, y para llegar a la nueva, Puente Galata, se puede ir andando tambien. Para ir mas lejos, Gran Bazar o Plaza Talkin, tienes en la misma puerta el tranvía. En recepción no hablan español, si bien en ingles nos pudimos comunicar bien, son realmente muy serviciales, nos ayudan con las maletas al llegar y marcharnos, nos recomendaron un crucero por el Bosforo nocturno, con cena, espectáculo y bebidas incluidas, a un precio increíble de 50€ la pareja, porque cogió empezando la temporada de invierno, principios de noviembre, fué inolvidable. El recepcionista Bardn es especialmente gracioso, y está muy pendiente de lo que necesitas, aunque todos los demás también, desde la señora que limpia, la chica que atiende la cafetería, la otra rececionista, ayudantes, ...

the hotel is located in a very convenient area, and just nearby a trollay car station. Pros.: great location, nice receptions, cleaness, nice breakfast (buffet and kinds of fruits) Cons.: a little bit small, bathroom hot water is not hot enough. Conclusion: fair price and nice place if limited budget with a convenient loaction.

dit hotel is echt helemaal goed gelegen om te voet de meeste sites te bezoeken; de tram stopt voor de deur; je bent zo van Ataturk Airport voor de deur van het hotel; het hotel heeft mooie kamers; ze zijn klein maar je kunt er prima met zijn twee in overnachten; bedden, badkamer en dagelijkse verzorging: alle onberispelijk. En dan ook nog eens aardig en behulpzaam personeel; het ontbijt met verse spullen. Kortom: ik kan me geen betere prijs/kwaliteit voorstellen.
