There were shops nearby and also many dining options.

I have a few minor complaints.

Housekeeping entered my room even with the \"Do Not

Disturb\" sign.

She threw away my safety cap to my razor.

I use that for traveling.

I cannot easily replace this item.

One more thing,

Please change the juices at breakfast.

Please use real juice, not artificial.

Better to not offer at all than the ones you are using.

The food at breakfast is very nice and the staff do a great

job!

The front area desk workers are very nice and helpful!

It is very central and in a great location. It is close to pretty much everything, and there are a lot of restaurants around. The staff were really kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, too. There was a lot of variety and fresh food, and there was a beautiful view of the city.
The room was clean and serviced every day during my stay. I was in a small room but it was the one I booked.

FIVE STARS all the way. Awesome location in Sirkeci . Walking distance from everything!!! Close to the tram station, ferries, Haga Sofia, Blue mosque, Grand bazar, food and shopping. Staff go out of the way to help. Free breakfast on the roof top (watch out for the crows and seagulls) Stayed twice during our visit to Turkey worth every penny,

Centrally located budget-friendly hotel

Had a three night stay at the hotel for a visit to Istanbul. The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance of most major sights. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained with a roof-top restaurant providing a fantastic view of Hagia Sofie during breakfast. The staff is friendly, helpful and can easily communicate in English.

In a great location near the haga Sophia mosque and close ish to the Galata tower and taksim square. Hotel itself was decent to sleep in, but rooms were small. Breakfast was ok, the usual boiled egg, bread, coffee, salad and sliced meats.

Our second time at this hotel. We love it because the location is perfect for seeing the famous sites in Istanbul, many are within walking distance but close to the metro for others. We are always treated well at this hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast has good choices. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay

Staff were amazing, very accommodating and helpful when you need. We arrived early morning (6am instanbul time) and there was someone to open the door and check us in. They also helped with changing rooms which ai really appreciated. The breakfast (7am to 10pm) was good. Rooms and beds were good, perfect for someone with a budget and just need somewhere to stay. Rooftop terrace had lovely view if hagia sofia. And the otherside of the bosphorus. Staff were 10/10 couldn’t complain. Also amazing location. I would recommend anyone wanting to explore the city to get a istanbul travel card for 70 lira. The tram station is at the end of the road and connects you to the whole city. Saves a ton and a fun journey seeing the whole city.

Not great. At all.

It’s a ratty place. All three of our rooms had issues. Sinks that wouldn’t drain, shower door that wouldn’t close… the kind of thing that says management doesn’t care. Breakfast was okay. Parking is out in the street if you can get it. I wouldn’t stay again, although reviews for all places in that area seem sketchy. You’ll survive, but you might not have a great stay. We didn’t.

The price is great in relation to the location. Blue mosque and the other areas are within 10-20 mins walking distance. Rooms are small but no complains because of the low pricing. The toilet was a bit old, hence, worn out toilet seat. If the toilet and rooms were cleaned/replaced, then it would have a perfect rating from me !

The hotel was nice and clean, and walking distance to everything including Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern etc. The breakfast was limited due to Covid but still healthy and fresh. Bread was really tasty too!

Dirty fake 4-star hotel

Far away to be 4-star hotel, relatively small rooms, not well maintained and not well cleaned (dust in corners ...).
On top of that, we even poisoned with the food / drink at the breakfast. Problems started 1-2 hours after the breakfast, we were sick, we started throwing up and my son even had diarrhea for the following two days.
Therefore, my suggestion is to stay away from this hotel.

A hidden gem

This is a lovely little hotel and I would recommend it highly.
It is in an excellent location near Gulhane tram stop so it is very convenient to travel by Metro and then tram to here from Ataturk Airport.
The rooms are compact, but fresh and nicely decorated. They are also spotlessly clean.
I had a charming little balcony with a lovely view of Hagia Sophia.
The breakfast is served on the 6th floor with both indoor and outdoor seating.
There was plenty of choice covering cereals, fresh fruit, salad and vegetables, cold meats and cheeses as well as breads.

Great Location, Great View at Breakfast!

Great location in Old City. The beds were the most comfortable we had our entire time in Turkey. The rooms were small but we were barely in them. The breakfast spread was nice and had a lovely view. I only had two qualms: 1) The hotel organized a taxi for us and the taxi driver tried to rip us off (not really the hotels fault but you'd think they'd pick a good representative) 2) When we arrived they gave us the key to a room that was already occupied... they must've realized the error right away because they chased us down just as we had entered a room full of someone's belongings.

This was my third stay in this hotel so I guess that says it all! I checked in late, after 01:00 a.m., and left before 06:00 a.m. the staff were helpful and efficient. Don't be swayed by reviews that complain about room size at Sude Konak. This is Istanbul Old City! Space is at a premium. The rooms are well appointed and clean. On the downside, the shuttle times for Ataturk Int'l are not all that convenient. Here's a tip: if the shuttle times don't work, pop next door to Erboy hotel and check their shuttle time. It worked well for me!

We've stayed at Sude Konak several time thru the years, and enjoyed it each time. This past visit is no exception. Great location in THE tourist area of Istanbul. The rooms are small, but most every hotel room in the city is; like Paris. Breakfast is basic, but very good.

Great location!

This is our second stay at this hotel so I guess that in itself says something! First time around we booked directly with the hotel via their website and paid a little extra for a street-view room. This time we didn't have the room selection option through hotels.com and so we ended up paying around £80 for a very small back-side room with a window looking out on to a dark ventilation shaft. The room was clean but had clearly been used previously by smokers. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. It's served on the top floor with an option to eat outside on the terrace. We enjoyed a great via of the Hagia Sophia as we ate! The location is second to none being close to all the main sites and also convenient for airport transfer, which the hotel are happy to arrange (Cost is 15-17.50 Turk Lira per person). Would I stay again? Yes, but I'd also check out neighbouring hotels next time around.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt, die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, Handtücher regelmäßig gewechselt und die Bettwäsche alle zwei Tage erneuert. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Frühstück war lecker und bot eine große Auswahl. Zwar sind die Möbel und das Badezimmer schon etwas älter und das Bad eher klein, aber alles war sauber und funktional.

Besonders gut hat mir die zentrale Lage gefallen – viele Sehenswürdigkeiten konnte man bequem zu Fuß erreichen.

Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir konnten überall gut hinkommen. Mitarbeiter/Personal stets freundlich. Jeden Tag wurde sauber gemacht und die Handtücher gewechselt. Leckeres Frühstück mit allem, was zum Frühstück dazu gehört.
Unser Zimmer hatte ein Fenster zu einem Schacht, zuerst gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber hat auch Vorteile: leise, kein Straßenlärm, keine Jalousien, die man auf und zumachen musste. Außerdem waren wir tagsüber stets unterwegs.

Je n'ai pas apprécié les choses suivantes : que l'on débite ma carte bleue avant même mon arrivée alors que j'avais précisé vouloir payer en devises ; n'ai pas apprécié non plus le fait que la chambre soit sans fenêtre ou que le hublot (à 1,70m du sol) donne sur un mur à 50cm (même chose que de ne pas en avoir). Claustrophobe, s'abtenir ! Le PDJ moyen.
J'ai apprécié que l'on finisse par me changer de chambre. Bien que j'ai supporté une odeur d'égoût dans la SDB mais sans m'en plaindre au vu des circonstances... La dame qui s'occupe du PDJ est très gentille et serviable.

Déçu de la qualité du séjour. Habituellement lorsque je réserve via Hôtel.com je suis agréablement surpris, soit par la prestation qui est supérieure à celle proposé, soit par la qualité de l'hôtel.
Certes Istanbul est une ville vivante et donc bruyante mais là j'ai certainement hérité de la chambre la plus mal placé, angle de 2 rues, donc 2X plus de passage, un wifi intermittent et un accueil juste acceptable . hôtel reférencé 4 étoiles qui n'en est pas.

Unglaublich wie Expedia es mit 4 Sterne auszeichnen und mit 8.2 benoten kann. Schrecklich. Es hat eine 2 Sterne mehr nicht.
Teppiche mit Kaugummi und dreckig, bad verschimmeltet. Einfach eklig ! Dazu noch die Verwertung von Expedia. Unglaublich.

Jag bodde på Sude Konak i en månad. Mycket bra location, nära till allt, tramway mycket nära, tar knappt 2 min att gå.

Annars var i ganska nöjda.

Saknar dock kassaskåp i rummet, och garderoben var väldigt liten för att bo där en månad.

Men jag fick en massa galgar som jag fick hänga runt mina kläder i rummet. Vi klarade oss men önskade ha utrymme för bekvämlighet.

Frukosten är den tråkigaste jag varit med om, jag reser runt flera gånger om året, tror inte jag haft sån tråkigt frukost, speciellt i mitt fall att bo där i en månad.

Nästan likadana sorters ost och mat varje dag.

Jag är vegetarian, under månaden jag bodde på hotellet fick jag en gång är en variation av olika friterade grönsaker

Annars i för sig rekommenderar jag hotellet för lägets skull

J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont très propres, l’établissement également. L’hôtel est très bien situé, vous avez les principaux endroits touristiques à proximité (mosquée bleue, mosquée aya Sophia, palais de topapki, grand bazar etc).

Le seul point négatif est qu’on entend à chaque fois qu’une voiture passe dans la rue

We stayed with my friends in this hotel from 30.04 to 2.05. So, I can tell it was very nice. very polite stuff, well mainted and clean room. Delicious breakfast on the roof with Aya sofa/ Bosphorus view. Location is amazing, less than 5 min walk to gulhane park, suleymanie 30 min by walk, Sultanahmet square 10 min. Absolutely will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Sehr schöne Lage. Alles sauber und angenehm. Unser Zimmer hatte leider kein Tageslicht und war sehr hellhörig. Durch das Fenster, das zu einem Schacht führte, man manchmal starker Zigarettengeruch. Wir würden wieder kommen, aber nur mit einem anderen Zimmer. Wir waren zufrieden.

Das Zimmer und auch das Bad/WC sind sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist etwas veraltet. Macht nur nicht den Fehler, das Standard-Zimmer zu buchen, da es kein wirkliches Fenster hat. Es hat nur ein Fenster in Richtung Lüftung und daher ist es sehr stickig! Wählt also nicht das günstigste, sondern für ein paar Euros ein Zimmer das in Richtung Straße blickt. Man erhält täglich Wasser, Zimmerreinigung, frische Handtücher usw. Der Standort ist top, direkte Anbindung zur Straßenbahn Gülhane und Marmaray Sirkeci in nur 2 Gehminuten.

Goed hotel, op een perfecte locatie. 5 minuten lopen van de Hagia Sophia en Sulthan Ahmet Moskee. 10 minuten van de Bazaar. Genoeg eetgelegenheden in de buurt. En ben je te moe om te lopen, vrees niet om de hoek ligt het tramstation Gulhane vandaar kan je binnen enkele minuten je reis voort zetten naar de rest van de stad. Hotel personeel is aardig, en behulpzaam, kamers zijn gezien de prijs mooi en onderhouden. Ontbijt valt reuze mee, maar daar anticipeerde ik al op gezien de prijs. Al met al een mooi hotel.

Zentral und doch in sehr ruhiger Lage

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Die Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten Istanbuls liegen gleich um die Ecke. Die Haltestelle der Strassenbahn ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss einfach zu erreichen. Auch der Gülhane Park liegt unmitteIbar bei der Haltestelle. In einer Nebenstrasse des Hotels befinden sich mehrere Restaurants. Weitere Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten sind, nur einen Steinwurf entfernt, im Gebiet Sultanahmet vorhanden. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lobby ist während 24 Stunden bedient. Die Zimmer sind nicht besonders gross, jedoch zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Bad war in meinem Fall eher etwas eng. Das Frühstück war authentisch, nämlich typisch türkisch.
