The bedroom area was small but comfortable. The area was very walkable to everything..we felt very safe and lots of dining options.

I asked to change the room because it looked old and weary (nothing like the online pictures). Even though the breakfast area was on the top floor, it was very crowded and messy. The food wasn’t great either. Cheap desserts, no fish like smoked salmon for breakfast, no option to make an omelette or fried eggs, had to wait until tea glasses would appear for use for quite awhile.

What we truly didn’t understand was when we came back at night and found out that the cleaning lady got our personal clothing out of our luggage and a backpack. It was shocking. She literally went into our bags to place our clothes on our beds. The only luggage she couldn’t get into was mine because I had a combination lock on it. The room had nothing - no iron, no mini fridge (only a mini bar full of stuff), no bathrobes. We changed the hotel and moved the one across the street and for the same price we got an upgraded, modern room with free teeth brushes, a razor, cotton balls and sticks. Modern lighting system, an iron, bathrobes and for breakfast we could ask us to cook eggs however we wanted (menemen, fried, scrambled).

Wonderful stay! Best location for everything.

Stayed there four nights. It is convenient location for all major attractions, Sophia, Topkapia, Blue Mosque. Walk distance! Also the T1 Tram stop only two minutes away! We have good time during stay. Staff is very helpful and thoughtful. When we leave early morning, they prepared a breakfast box for us. Make us feel like home.

Great price and you got almost everything you look for in a hotel. Clean rooms, great customer service, great selection of food for breakfast, with very lovely staff. Pool area was good as expected. Room service and daily cleaning was on point. Front desk helped us book a taxi to the airport as well. I would have loved a smart TV in the room, but I wasn’t expecting it given the price and the historical area or demographics of hotels in old town. Only negative I would say, that room bathroom was leaking water which smells if left uncleaned, we were not sure what was the source for it, but it was always cleaned daily.

I’ve spent my whole life traveling and working in the hotel industry, so I’ve seen my fair share of places. But when I say this hotel was a solid 10/10, I really mean it. From the incredibly kind and attentive staff to the fantastic facilities, everything exceeded expectations. We stayed for 8 nights in two rooms, and every moment was a pleasure. The breakfast was exceptional, and the lobby was just as impressive. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in! Sure, there were a few minor hiccups, but honestly, that’s to be expected anywhere, and it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A huge thank you to everyone who works here! We’ll definitely be back one day <3

We enjoyed 3 nights at this hotel. Room was comfortable. Breakfast had a nice variety. Hotel is in a good location to access places of interest such as Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque and the Grand and Spice Bazaars. The tram line is at end of street making it easy to move around.

This was the perfect hotel for my city break in Istanbul. The room was a little small but for me on my own it was fine and I was only in it to sleep really. The bed I found a bit hard and my air con wasn't working but I spoke to the staff at reception and they got an engineer to sort the air con and put a mattress topper on my bed. The location is amazing with the tram just at the end of the street which is less than a 5 minute walk. I found it pretty quiet with the exception of a few banging doors but you're up early for sightseeing anyway. Breakfast had a vast array of options.i enjoyed a massage here too which was wonderful. The service from the staff here is exceptional and I would highly recommend staying here. The rooftop bar is lovely too.

So enjoyed my week stay here!! Everyone was sooo helpful, courteous, knowledgeable!!! The hotel is certainly in a desirable area within easy walking distance of historical sites. The dining/bar area on the sixth floor has expansive windows to overlook the river and the square. The breakfast buffet was certainly bountiful, but also had the options of made to order selections. After a long day out and about the bartender made the best dirty martini ever!
Wonderful experience here in every way!

Rooms are a bit on the smaller side. Also requested a twin room but wasn’t available. It was very noisy at night both outside and inside the hotel. I guess that’s why they provide ear plugs. Rooms are nice and warm and the shower is really good. Also the location is brilliant. Shame about the noise.

Great location, around the corner to a tram station and around a 10min walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Hotel itself is lovely, we had 2 adjoining rooms, one one spacious with a decent size bathroom, the other was quite small with a tiny bathroom. Room and bathroom require maintenance. Walls in the room were quite scuffed. Bathroom was dated and falling apart however, everything was very clean.
There’s a great rooftop restaurant.. the lentil soup and cherry vine leaves are amazing. Limited menu for veggies but the options are great.

This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect. Rooms had everything we needed. 2 bottles of water left daily. Breakfast had something for everyone with amazing views. We didn’t use the pool or spa because we ran out of time. Staff really helpful. Absolutely perfect

Great hotel with fabulous breakfast

We spent eight nights here. The hotel is close to all the main attractions around Sultanahmet and is yards from the tramline.
The included breakfast was amazing with a full buffet and an option to have fresh cooked options.
We used the pool, gym and spa most days and would recommend.
Reception staff were helpful in booking tours and transfers.
I would stay here again if visiting Istanbul.

The staff was excellent, the room was clean and the location was excellent and within walking distance of everything. You wouldn't really be able to park near the hotel but that's just how all of Istanbul is really. I would not recommend renting a car if you are visiting the city in general. The rooms are fairly small but that's not a bad thing, just be prepared for that. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Yasmak Sultan and would be happy to stay again on my next trip to Istanbul

Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. It is approximately 10 mins walk to Sultanahmet and all the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk and room attendants if you needed anything. The breakfast had an excellent selection of food with waiters clearing plates and kitchen always replenishing the empty trays. The pool area is nice but they required shower caps and charged us for them during check out which was a little disappointing. Also the \"hot tub\" is not hot at all, it is literally the same temperature as the pool. And in the rooms the drainage is so poor so you're standing in a lot of water during a shower that takes forever to go down. But other than that I don't think you'll find a more convenient location in Istanbul so I would still recommend this hotel :)

The spa and restaurant were at a higher level than the reception/lounge and rooms. Just lacking atmosphere. Enjoyed the restaurant and my husband and friends may use of gym/spa facilities. The reception staff were friendly but maybe a bit limited in information outside of the old city area.

We had a great time at Yasmak Sultan hotel , the staff is absolutely amazing and they are extremely helpful . One of our friends lost their phone and the manager and his team helped us find the location where the phone was lost and helped us communicate and talk to someone who brought it back to us ! We had 4 rooms at the hotel and every one of our requests were accommodated . They arranged tours for us and all our dietary needs were met . I recommend them highly and will stay again . Location is extremely central right beside a tram station

Breakfast was great. Hotel central to everything! The rooms are a very good size and comfy.
The pool and bubble pool is a great plus
Many food shops and everything close by
Tram stop less than 2 min walk away

We did not get the Turkish bath as we found it expensive, we went to a local sultan spa which we would not recommend.

Overall a very good hotel in Istanbul which we cannot fault, would recommend you to stay!

It is a beautiful hotel. However, the electricity is such that you have to turn it off (pull out the key card) so the ceiling light will go off. I use a medical device that requires electricity so I had to try and sleep with the ceiling light on. When I inquired at the front desk if there was any way the ceiling light could be turned off - I was told no.

The hotel is in a great location on a relatively quiet street close to the major sites. Two issues to flag : 1-wifi in the room was pretty bad; 2- on at least three of the five nights I stayed there, I woke in the middle of the night to a very strong cigarette smell filling the room.
