Modern, clean hotel in the busy part of town (it's 10 min walk to the big sights of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque), small room but was absolutely enough for the 2 of us, comfy beds, nice view from 4th floor down on the street. Buffet breakfast was included excellent, many choices. We took public transport from airport IST (metro/subway - - bus - - tram/streetcar, yes you have to transfer 2x, it's longer but interesting to see around, about 8 euro i think), then hotel suggested taxi back for 35 E, took 55 mins. Hotel front staff also told me about the possibility to visit \"Asia\", yes Istanbul is on 2 continents. Just one hour \"attraction\" visit as we were pressed for time on a 24-hr layover, hop on a nearby subway /metro, just one stop and you're in Asia, right on the waterfront with fishermen and so many jelly fish floating around. Visited in early March.

After a very tiring journey with three kids. Unfortunately as soon as we stepped into the hotel we were disappointed. The room was very dirty, the floor seemed like it had not been cleaned in years, the toilet had dirt in it, the beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. And to think we had to pay an extra £50 to check in early and we’re so disgusted by the room was such a shame.

I had a short layover but really wanted to go into the heart of Istanbul and walk the city as much as I could. This was a great location! Close to main attractions like the Blue Mosque & Ayasofia, plus the Spice Bazaar (what I really wanted to see) and Grand Bazaar.
They organized a roundtrip hotel shuttle, making it super easy (and stress free) to get there.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was awesome! Definitely recommend staying here!

If you are traveling to Istanbul, this hotel is THE BEST CHOICE! You have everything, amazing location, close to everything you can possibly need, super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed last summer and as long time travellers and super picky ones, we loved this place.
The entire staff is wonderful, pleasant and very welcoming, from the cleaning ladies, to the always smiling lady in the breakfast lounge (didn't get her name, short with black hair), to the very helpful bell boy, Nurettin. But the most amazing ones, were the two front desk receptionists we dealt with, Murat and Irfan. They went beyond their duty to help us, answered our 1000s of questions, very eager to help and simply made our stay so much nicer! They deserve a raise :)! We will most definitely return and have recommended this place many times to our friends and family.

My experience in the hotel started not so well since I didn’t feel welcome by the person at their reception who did my checking process, fortunately, next day, I found the nicest person at the hotel, Belin, not only apologize for the issue the day before, but help me to solve this different issues I had at that moment like transportation to different places, he really knows what customer service is and made me forget everything about the situation the night before. Belin is a person who really takes care of the customers, definitely the hotel should value people like him. She totally change the way I was thinking about the hotel and now I’ll be happy to come back.

Euro Design Hotel was fantastic with easy access to all the tourist hotspots and also great food all around especially for families. The staff were brilliant and happy to accommodate any requests we had. We had breakfast included and it was a buffet spread which catered for all the family.

A hotel where you can for sure come back

Good communication with the personal regarding the transportation between hotel and airport before out arrival and at the end and very good info's which made it very easy for us to manage at the airport.
Very nice, kind and polite reception service. We were not very impressed by the breakfast side in the morning but still satisfactory. All in all a pleasent and we will choose again the same hotel if we come back to Instanbul.

We stayed 7 nights at Euro Design Hotel, and we absolutely loved our time and will definitely visit again when next in Istanbul.

It ticks many of the boxes, whether it be amenities, which our booking included inclusive breakfast, cleanliness, and most importantly helpful and attentive staff always wanting to help.

Lastly, and the biggest attraction is the prime location, located close to all the major sites of Old Istanbul, with the Sultan Ahmet, Aya Sofya, Kapali Carsisi, Basilica, Eminonu Bosphorus front, all a realistic walking distance.

A estadia correu super bem, estou muito satisfeita e feliz com a escolha do hotel, é um hotel bonito, acolhedor e moderno. Os funcionários eram todos super simpáticos e atenciosos. O funcionário que nos atendeu à chegada era muito simpático e profissional. No primeiro dia tivemos uma sobremesa de boas vindas que o Sr. Veysel nos levou ao quarto, o Sr. Veysel foi sempre muito atencioso connosco durante toda a estadia. O Sr. Ibat também nos levou uma sobremesa, podemos escolher entre algumas opções que o mesmo estava a distribuir pelos hóspedes do hotel. O pequeno almoço tem bastante variedade e era bom mas penso que poderia ter uma identificação dos alimentos, por vezes era difícil de saber o que estávamos a comer, se gostarem de arriscar como nós, é provar e ver se gostam, mas acho que seria bom se dissesse o nome dos alimentos expostos. Quanto à limpeza, o nosso quarto estava muito limpo e era limpo todos os dias por umas senhoras muito simpáticas também! A localização é muito boa.No geral a nossa estadia correu muito bem, é uma experiência a repetir se um dia voltarmos a Istambul, valeu muito a pena, quer pela simpatia dos funcionários quer pela experiência no hotel. Quero dar um agradecimento especial ao Sr. que nos recebeu no primeiro dia ( infelizmente não consegui saber o nome) e também ao Sr. Veysel e Ibat, excelentes funcionários, tornaram a nossa estadia muito melhor :)

Some guests were to loud , but no one react. Breakfast was same every morning. Found long hair in eggs container. Room? I asked for fix lock, and a guy said will come later but didn’t show. Night stand only on one side of the bad, and plug in one side too. Small fridge not cold enough. No table neither chair in room. In restroom no place to put personal hygiene staff.

We booked 2 rooms at this property. The A/C was not working in both rooms and the hotel was unable to fix the issue for us after several complaints to them. The rooms had a balcony but they were locked and the hotel did not open them for us despite the A/Cs not working. Terrible experience overall!

Overall we loved it. The stuff were good. The room were clean and the bedding was good. We lov3d how close to the metro it was. 2min walk. In th3 middle of the market. Could find food until 12am. Accessible to pharmacy and other things. Tram 5mins walk. Taxi was very easy to find too but unfortunately we came in july/august when the country has peaked in tourism so finding taxi in that sense was hard because they were pre-booked.

2 things about the country in general though.

1. Turkish people are not friendly, very very moody.

2. They (taxi or small shops) will rip you off blindly. A place were could be 10mins away and cost you 50tl tbey will charge you 200tl.

It was very disappointing overall,
When we booked was last minute and I had no time to check the details about the room if is underground, I never see for so many years i travel I never come cross with room underground,
However our issue started by waiting for the room to get ready and receptionist with refused to let me dropped off my bags in the room after waited at hotel for 2 hours for the room to get ready we had child with us my wife and son count not anymore wait they had to go for walk,
the guy in the reception was very rude and not friendly and because my wife and child was not present he with not let me drop off our luggage in the room we were in hurry to prepaid tour I told him I have the copy’s he said no I want them present,
When I reach the room underground I I told the guy we will not stay here was room dark and I told the guy at reception my soon can not stay here he said so you book this room,
He didn’t even offer us alternative accommodation or anything we booked for 2 night and he could fix the problem at spot but he was so careless,
We end up paying additional elsewhere for that night to stay when we left we didn’t said one word,
I ask for the manger he said no manger available and one was there to solve my problems,
I call the customer service for orbitz I explain to the situation she knew we are left from the hotel I ask her can we get reimbursed or at least our second day they can fixed orbitz staff took my number she said she will update me

Nice hotel but be aware that rooms are very compact. We’re not on the larger side and found some areas of the room needing to keep elbows in - particularly the bathroom and there was limited space for Salah. We requested to change rooms and received one with a marginally better layout. Breakfast is fine but repetitive. Rooms on road side are noisy but that will be case everywhere in Istanbul. Location is perfect though, walking distance to all main attractions. Felt like a reasonable 3 star stay.

Overall our stay at the Euro Design Hotel was OK, nothing to rave about. Staff was friendly and helpful, service was good, property was clean, breakfast was...ok. Our biggest complaint is with how the room was presented on Expedia vs how it looked in reality. We booked a suite for 5 people, and it looked good on Expedia (roomy, nice layout, etc), but it was small and it didn't really feel like a suite, it felt like a big(er) room with 2 more single beds. Bathroom was small and awkward (sink was behind the door, you had to close the door to use the sink).

We stayed at Euro Design for a week and cannot fault the cleanliness the staff did in order to keep us safe during covid. The rooms were cleaned daily and measures were in place throughout the hotel. The rooms are smaller than your average, so would recommend upgrading if you can. Nevertheless, for a week it was still manageable.

The hotel is in an ideal location, walking distance to all the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, grand bazaar, spice market, Topaki place, Sulemaniye mosque etc). Conveniently opposite the hotel there is a tour office where we booked the Sunset Bosphorus Cruise. We took a taxi to Taksin Square which is about a 15 min drive away. It's best to request a taxi with the hotel staff as we noticed when we flagged a taxi they were charging us nearly triple the price!

We flew into Istanbul Airport which was about a 45min drive and booked the transfer directly with the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was very limited due to Covid, however it was enough and there are many local restaurants at the foot of the hotel if you need to grab anything more!

Overall we had a very pleasant stay and thanks to Murat, Engin & Mehmet for always being so helpful!

Le service au top, le suivi du transfert a était très bien géré, on nous a meme notifié de bloquage et manifestations par l'hotel nous permmettant d'anticiper notre départ ! Chambre petite, dressing petit mais sachant que nous y somme restés 6 jours cela suffisait, femme de ménage très gentille, polie, chambre toujours propre. Petit déjeuner au top, fait maison et vraiment bon ! Situation géographique la meilleure ! Les grands hotels sont loin du centre historique (shangri la, four seasons...) alors que là en 700m max vous etes sur la place de st sophie et a 3 min à mpied du grand bazaar !

Otel son derece temizdi. Mutfak ve temizlik personeli ile resepsiyonda çalışan ekip oldukça güleryüzlü ve yardımcıydı. Kahvaltı çok zengindi ve oldukça fazla seçenek sunuluyordu. Otelin konumu çok avantajlı; Marmara’ya, Sultanahmet’e ve Eminönü’ne yakın olması büyük bir artı. Ayrıca restoranlar, kitap evleri ve kahve dükkânları hemen yanında bulunuyor. Terası oldukça geniş ve manzarası da çok güzeldi.

Ancak otel sahibinin eşinin çalışanlara karşı sergilediği bazı davranışlar beni üzdü. Bunun dışında genel olarak konaklamamızdan memnun kaldık.

Rent var det men synes håndtakene kunne trengt rengjøring. Ellers synes jeg sengene var for små og arealet på rommet var liten så ble litt trangt. Men fungerte greit mtp tid vi brukte der inne. Frokosten var bra. Hyggelig personal og hjelpsomme. Trivdes veldig godt siden alt var på gå avtand. Er du lydsensetiv så er det lurt å sove med ørepropper.

Kaikki toimi hienosti. Hotelli moderni, siisti. Tosi hyvä aamupala. Hoitivat lentokenttäkyydityksen, wattsupilla yhteydenpito.
Kävelyetäisyydellä Grand bazar, moskeijat ja metroyhteys ”nurkan takana”.
Toki kun keskeisellä paikalla, liikenteen meteli kuului yötä päivää mutta se ei kuitenkaan liiaksi haitannut ja aina voi käyttää korvatulppia.
Ehdottomasti voi suositella ja menisin uudestaan tähän jos Istanbuliin joskus menisin.

Le petit déjeuner n’était pas confectionné avec des produits frais. On voyait le personnel avec des bocaux industriels. Les bouteilles de gel douche étaient vides à notre arrivée dans la chambre. La climatisation ne pouvait pas être réglée, de ce fait la chambre était soit trop chaude ou soit trop froide.
En ce qui concerne le personnel de l’hôtel, il était très agréable, disponible et réactif.

Oteldeki konaklamamdan gerçekten çok memnun kaldım. Öncelikle kahvaltı çok güzeldi— çeşit çok fazlaydı, her şey taze ve lezzetliydi. Kahvaltı salonu temiz ve ferah, personel de her zaman güler yüzlüydü. Özelikle Gökçe ve Büşra Hanım çok güzel ilgilendiler, güler yüzleriyle ve hizmetleriyle kendimizi annemle çok rahat hissettik.

Oda rahat ve temizdi. Yatak konforluydu, nevresimler temizdi. Banyoda da her gün temizlik yapıldı, havlular yenilendi ve genel hijyen mükemmeldi. Mine Hanıma çok teşekkür ederiz.

Oda her gün düzenli olarak temizleniyor. Otelin genel alanları da gayet bakımlı ve düzenliydi.

Personel yardımsever ve misafirperverdi, her isteğimizle ilgilendiler. Genel olarak hem hizmet kalitesinden hem de atmosferden çok memnun kaldım.
Kesinlikle tekrar tercih edeceğim bir otel!

Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft zwar sauber, allerdings hat das Personal sich während dem Aufenthalt nicht mehr bemüht. Das Badezimmer wurde nicht mehr gereinigt.

Banyo temizliği oldukça kötüydü. Şampuan, duş jeli, el sabunu, saç kremi cam şişelerin içindeydi ancak pompaları çalışmıyordu. Söylememize rağmen getirmediler. Banyo seramiklerinin araları simsiyahtı. Odaya bırakılan yorgan temiz değildi, üzerinde lekeler vardı. Söylediğimizde poşetli yeni bir yorgan getirdiler ancak tek kişilikti ve kokuyordu, kullanmadık bile. Resepsiyon sürekli olarak olumsuz yaklaştı. Köşede ardiye olacak yeri oda yapmışlar. Kısacası hayal kırıklığıydı. Tek olumlu yanı gideceğimiz yere yakındı.
