For the price we paid it was worth it. The property was very small in general. We stayed there in January the weather was very cold. So it was nice to come back to a clean warm rooms with plenty of hot water to shower with.
The small breakfast buffet was enough for me. The only complaint I had was I wished they had filter coffee and not nasty Nescafé.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. They have done great renovation at the hotel. Reception, rooms and also they have a new bar at the terrace where you can have lovely breakfast. You feel like at home. Location is perfect too. I recommend every body who wants to feel home in Istanbul....

Great location but very shabby place sheets had stains and other hairs on. The towels were torn and had ink marks. Felt generally a little grimy. Nothing like the picture. The room was in the basement where there is a strong smell of disinfectant. Very overpowering. Staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was ok with a small selection of bread meat and eggs but had a great view of the city.

The aircon did not work on the first night we stayed, and the shower rose was broken. We reported it the next morning, and found both had beem fixed when we returned thr next evening - thanks yo the staff for their prompt attention. Only other problem we encountered was the dirty drinking glass in the bathroom.

Perfect budget hotel in the heart of Istanbul

A very nice budget hotel. Very few English channels but you are barely indoors as all the attractions are within walking distance. We stayed in the newly renovated room and they upgraded us without asking and we were more than pleased.

Very bad experience

The hotel does not have an elevator only steep spiral stair case, so if a traveler has heavy suitcases to carry, you will end up carrying them yourself, The staff will not help. The room we stayed in was dirty and had mosquito's that bit up my wife an I leaving many bumps. The cleaning lady is also the person who prepares the breakfast and I noticed she wiped several areas with a rag, pick-up trash, and took out the trashcan and after this handled the breakfast bread without washing her hands, she is also the one who cleans the rooms. The pictures on the website show clean and good rooms however when one steps into the rooms, it is not what is shown. I had booked three nights and I only stayed the first night, I took a loss, this is how bad I rate this hotel.

Disappointing & Uncomfortable Stay

I saw this hotel on ebookers when I was planning a trip for me & my wife, the pictures looked amazing and the reviews were average.
On arrival I was extremely disappointed, upon booking I booked a double luxury room and paid €3 extra per night and mentioned that me and my wife will be staying but my wife will arrive later from another country. This hotel is situated in downtown Istanbul and build on 4 floors with no lift, the hotel is old and you can tell that no money has been spent on the wear and tear for a long time. On arrival my room weren’t ready but the receptionist a short guy whom spoke 3 languages was very pleasant and offered me another room on the second floor. There were two flight of stairs with metal railing on one side which I had to climb by holding on to the railing as there are sharp turnings on the stairs, Not reached the second floor I cut the palm of my hand on the sharp welded metal railing with blood pouring from my hand I arrived on 2nd floor. Opening the rooms door I was well disappointed, it looked nothing like the hotel advertised photos. The room was cold and over looked run down buildings which were being used as storage. I checked if the heating works but the radiator was switched off and no remote control for the air conditioning system. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room and about 2 inches of dust on the tv installed on the wall. Turned on the lights and only one bulb out of three working. Shame I can complete my review due

No toiletries provided. Toilet flush broken. Shower room wasn’t the best...floor leaked. Terrible breakfast served. No working WiFi unless you go to the lounge area. Bedsheets were not changed a single time we were there. Stained mattresses ! Hotel is located in a good place however it’s up on a very steep hill. Taxis don’t like to go there and walking was a workout everyday! Staff are nice and spoke English. Cheap but most definitely not cheerful.

Very close to Sultanahmet mosque and egyptian baza

Good location but a bit tiring on foot due to steep roads nevertheless a good workout after that fatty Döner, great breakfast, condition of the rooms is pleasant, cleanliness is excellent and hotel staff is helpful, hospitable, friendly and kind.
I'd suggest inclusion of hot drinking water for making tea and coffee in the rooms which I and my dear wife missed so much. Will stay there next year too only if we can get this fixed and get the same or better prices.

PS: We stayed there for 15 nights.
PPS: sorry for bad English

Cheap and good location

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the metro station and a 5-10 minute walk from the main touristic attractions. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend.

Der Mann an der Rezeption hat wollte mir ein Zimmer im Keller ohne Fenster andrehen angeblich hätte ich das gebucht!!! Was nicht der Fall war. Auf mein drängen bekam ich das Zimmer welche ich gebucht habe.Einfach unverschämt!! Die Fotos entsprechen nicht dem was im App zusehen ist.Personal im frühstücksraum beschäftigen sich eher mit handys statt mit gästen.
Als viel reisende weiß ich das für 40€ pro Nacht gibt in istanbul viel besseres.

Hotel in cui avevo già soggiornato qualche anno fa, la struttura non è estremamente moderna ma non la cambierei con altre, si trova in una via nascosta centrale ma lontana dal caos della città. Vicina anche la fermata della metro Marmaray Sirkesi. Stanza spaziosa e luminosa che affacciava sulla strada. Bagno funzionale da sistemare l'illuminazione. Colazione turca.

Лучше не бронировать заранее. Было грустно...

Убитая мебель, рваные полотенца и дырявые простыни, которые не меняются за все время прибывания, тапочки даже просвечиваются, самые дешманские, надо постараться, чтобы их надеть.
Прекрасный вид на убитое здание в 5 метрах от номера. Решеток нет, если не проветривать номер, будет вонять. Поэтому выбирать, либо опасаться за вещи, либо свежесть. Но есть камеры в коридорах. Но в окна залезть не проблема.
Внимаение! Стены тоньше, чем картонные, это полная Ж, я слышал, как СОПЕЛ мужик в соседнем номере!!!
Завтрак на 3.5 из 5. Соков нет.
Своих денег не стоит! Берут только из-за исторического центра.

Вернулась бы в этот отель снова!

Отель оставил очень приятное впечатление благодаря стараниям персонала, всех без исключения! Несмотря на то, что отельчик небольшой и компактный, персоналу удалось создать теплую дружелюбную атмосферу, мы чувствовали себя как дома. Большинство персонала понимают и говорят по русски, постояльцы тоже, в основном, русскоязычные. Особенно понравилось, что в зоне питания в любое время суток был организован горячий чай, заваренный по-турецки; кофе, сахар, питьевая вода, современный телевизор - все было доступно, постояльцы приходили отдохнуть, перекусить, пообщаться - такая домашняя обстановка. Это нивелировало некоторые неудобства от маленьких номеров, недостатка мебели и сломанной двери у шкафа, которые уже казались несущественными, тем более что в номере ежедневно наводили чистоту, ежедневно меняли полотенца и даже тапочки! Холодильник, телевизор, сейф (без доп.оплаты), кондиционер, зимой отопление - все это в номере присутствует. Очень удобные матрацы! Интернет работал очень шустро, на каждом этаже установлен Wi-Fi роутер. Ну и самый большой плюс - отличное местоположение! В радиусе 500-700 м от отеля - трамвай, метро, водный транспорт, все обязательные к посещению достопримечательности, рынок специй, Гранд базар, Мигрос в 2-х минутах ходьбы, точки питания и т.п. Мы кушали в местной столовой Балкан Локанта (3 мин. ходьбы), очень вкусно, разнообразно и недорого - средний чек на обед на двоих у нас составил от 24 до 34 лир. В следующую поездку - в этот отель!

Mükemmel bir konaklama deneyimi oldu. Yıllar önce bu otelde kaldığımızda yine her şey çok iyiydi fakat yapılan yenileme çalışmalarından sonra, otelde çok daha güzel bir atmosfer oluşturulmuş. Özellikle, artık otelde bir asansör bulunması, bizim için çok büyük rahatlık oldu. Çatı katına güzel manzaralı bir teras eklemek ve kahvaltıyı burada sunmak çok akıllıca bir fikir. Kahvaltı çok güzel ve her damak tadına uygun çeşit bulmak mümkün. Terasa çıktığımızda uzunca bir süre dışarı çıkıp etrafı görmek bile istemedik. Ayrıca otelin sahibine ve çalışanlarına sıcak yaklaşımlarından ve misafirlerine aile ortamı sunmalarından dolayı çok teşekkür etmek istiyorum. İstanbul’a her geldiğimizde artık adresimiz sadece İstanbul Central Hotel olacaktır.

Vreselijk hotel. Flink belazerd door de foto’s die op de site staan. Erg vies. Zelfs het eten zag er niet uit. We hadden soort van schone lakens gekregen die warwn net zo grijs en vies als de vorige. Wij hadden met vriendinnen 4 dagen geboekt na 2 nachten zijn we vertrokken maar een andere hotel.

Ciddi şekilde sağlık sorunu teşkil ediyor.

Istanbul ist richtig schône Stadt aber Hotel be...

Wir waren dort für Sieben Nächte doch Hotel war Katastrophe.

Täglich ist für 8-12 Stunden Strom deaktiviert worden und bei Beschwerden hat man uns Müll erzählt.

Klima funktioniert nicht sowie Kühlschrank und keine Möglichkeit Handys aufzuladen

Забронировал номер на двоих в данном отеле. Стоимость проживания была невысокой, и включала в себя дополнительно завтраки. Итог следующий- отель старенький, все оборудование \"уставшее\", но все достаточно чисто. Вид из окна - так себе. Постельное белье меняли раз в два дня. В номере также часто убирались. Завтраки скромные и однообразные, но все съедобно. И это позволяет сэкономить деньги для того, чтобы больше потратить на культурно-массовый отдых (музеи, кафе и знакомство с местной культурой). Обслуживающий персонал очень доброжелательный. Пытается помочь, ответить на какие-либо возникающие вопросы. Самое главное - локация отеля. До основных достопримечательностей минут 10-15 неспешной ходьбы. Метро - 3-5 минут. Паром - минут 10 ходьбы. Только за одну локацию огромный плюс, а в совокупности с остальными плюшками (цена отеля, включенные завтраки, чистота) - идеальный выбор для путешественника. Так как в день проходили 15-20км, очень актуально было прийти в отель (ввиду его удобного расположения), передохнуть, принять душ и отправиться дальше для изучения города и окрестностей.

Güzel bir konaklama.

Güzel bir konaklama oldu.Klimanın damlatması ve kahvaltı da su bulundurulmaması gibi ufak tefek sorunlar oldu.Klima ile ilgili Otel işletmecisini bilgilendirdim.Kendisi cana yakın ve ilgili bir işletmeciydi.Böylesine güzel ve bakımlı bir Otel de en azından kahvaltı için bir sürahi su bulundurulmalı diye düşünüyorum.İşletmecinin bu küçük sorunlar için aksiyon alacağından şüphem yok.Tekrar gitsem yine kalırım.

Ottimo soggiorno

Hotel centralissimo a 300 metri dal Bosforo e 500 metri da Santa Sofia e moschea blu mi sono trovato moto bene ottima la colazione. Personale gentile e disponibile, ci tornerò sicuramente’ strada molto silenziosa, ottimo per riposare. In camera c’è un frigo è una cassaforte.

Größtes dreckshotel stinkt nach Urin !!!

Das Zimmer war im Keller, (angeblich waren keine anderen Zimmer frei..es hat nach Urin gestunken und an den Wänden waren Urin flecke, Bettwäsche war voll mit Flecken!
5 Tage gebucht und bin nicht eine Nacht geblieben!! Mitarbeiter meinte einfach nichts nur das ich alles über Expedia klären muss..
das Geld ist auch einfach weg.. es war einfach kein Hotel sondern ein Keller... Empfehlung null!! An keinen!!!

Schlechtestes Hotel das ich gesehen habe

Zentral, aber zwischen verlassenen kaputten Häuser. Ausblick aus dem Zimmer: leerstehendes verfallendes Gebäude mit kaputten Fenstern und Kot.
Erster Eindruck drinne: sehr unangenehm, dreckiger Restaurant-Foyer? Boden. Toilette super dreckig.
Rezeptionist sehr misstrauisch und unangenehm. Zimmer war nicht fertig und hat mich drauf hingewiesen meine Tasche im Dreck hinter der Tür ohne Aufsicht zu lassen.
Zimmer: nichts mit den Bildern online zu tun. Viel kleiner als auf den Bildern. Gerissene Tapete mit Klebeband geklebt, kleines Bad mit Schimmel überall, Gestank im Zimmer, den ich auch beim geöffneten Fenster nicht weggekriegt habe.
Nie wieder hier!

Ich werde definitiv wieder hier in Istanbul central hotel buchen.
Team sehr freundlich, und zimmer sauber.
Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in paar Minuten entfernt.

Zimmer im Keller, stickig, keine Luft und Schimmel

Ich bekam das Zimmer im Keller, es war dunkel, sehr stickig und Schimmel an der Wand und im Bad. Ich schlief dort eine Nacht und bat um ein Zimmerwechsel, war auch bereit etwas drauf zu zahlen. Man sagte alle Zimmer seien voll. am nächsten Tag musste ich mir ein anderes Hotel suchen, das es nicht auszuhalten war in solch einem Zimmer zu schlafen. Ich erklärte es dem Hotel Chef und bat ihn mir mein Geld zu erstatten. Er sagte das könne er nicht, nur wenn jemand nach meinem Verlassen hin, dann das Zimmer buchen würde. Sehr sehr mieses Verhalten in meinen Augen. 125 Euro sind weg und habe nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen. Bis jetzt keinen ANruf und kein Geld zurück bekommen und bin Student!

Schreckliches Hotel, schreckliches Personal !!!

Ich muss leider eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, ich würde nicht mal einen Stern anklicken, aber anders könnte ich das Hotel nicht bewerten! REINE ABZOCKE!
Wir haben bereits im JULI 2017 unseren Flug nach Istanbul gebucht + dieses Hotel Blue. Als wir am Tag der Anreise angekommen waren, teilte uns das unkompetente Personal mit, unser Aufenthalt sei storniert worden, ob Expedia uns nicht benachrichtigt hätte? Daraufhin sagten wir, nein natürlich nicht sonst wären wir nicht hier ( wohl gemerkt, es war bereits abends+dunkel ).
Die Preise seien nicht korrekt und man könnte zu dem Preis dort nicht übernachten...blabla
Uns wurde dann gesagt, wir können gerne ein Zimmer buchen für 30,-€ die Nacht OF, der vorherige Preis waren 14,-€ pro Nacht. ALSO DOPPELT SOVIEL!!! ist klar...
Ich möchte jetzt nicht alle Einzelheiten aufzählen, wir standen plötzlich da, wurden für Dumm verkauft und uns wurde das gebuchte Zimmer NICHT GEGEBEN! Also mussten wir in der gleichen Nacht in ein anderes Hotel ziehen...
