Checking in was easy, the employee was very pleasant and kind.
The elevator was clunky and the hallway to our room smelled nasty. Our room was clean and smelled fresh but the bed was too squishy and non supportive. The walls were thin, we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. We will not stay here again.

This property was a great location for us as we were visiting friends who lived in the same street. We stayed in a nice quiet room facing the street. the room was clean and well presented but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, mouldy walls above shower and shower plug was blocked and the bathroom had a sewage smell to it. Door was a little hard to unlock with key.

No kettle in the room, the corridors smell of old smoke. The room was clean, and tidy. Parking is limited however have good spaces. The check in was very fast, however the lady missed most of the information we needed. I had to ask about how to get into the room as you have to pull the door. Also you need a note for the car park, which I had to ask about only by noticing it in another car.

Convenient old school rooms in Tempelhof
So what I really liked about this one was the easy-to-access parking (outdoor) as well as the location. Not far from the ring highway it’s quite easy to get to from a lot of locations around Berlin especially it’s south and that was what I needed that week. Also the breakfast was simple but fine and there was no trouble with the WiFi which is always a plus.
On the other hand - while clean, mind you! - it could use some upgrading or renovating some time soon. Everything feels a bit aged and looks accordingly. Well, I’d choose it again any time :)

Convenient place to stay
Yes, the hotel is a bit outdated - but it is improving. Room was very spacious. For us, location was great (close to our old neighbourhood) - but if you want to stay in the middle of the city, this is not the top choice. But access to Autobahn and public transport is very good. Value-for-money is good. Was not sure if AC was working but we did not need one. All in all, ok place to stay, convenience beats style.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is located in a quite neighborhood with good parking facility. The suburban transport is also just 6-8mins walk away from hotel. Breakfast was also good for the price.

The only reason the room was rated lower was due to the lack of air conditioning. We stayed during an extremely rare heat wave that was quite uncomfortable. Had the weather been normal I would have rated it higher.

I stayed at the Berliner Bar while on business. It is a decent hotel for the price with a very good breakfast. The location isn't the best - it's about a 15-minute walk to the S/U-Bahn, but it was manageable. Bathroom was also not the cleanest - there was leftover long red hair on the wall of the shower both mornings that I stayed. There was also no air conditioning in the room. The rest of the room was fine. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed here for New Year's Eve and it was an ideal, low-cost option. The bar is open all night, the breakfast very good and the U-bahn only nine minutes walk away.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location was ok, seemed like a residential area. Outside city center but only a few minutes from train and u-bahn stations. Wifi was fast, but kicked me out randomly a few times. Hotel felt very old. Carpet was peeling from the floor. Beds were small and fairly hard. Carpet and bedding were scratchy. Bathroom was nice and clean, with good water pressure in shower. Service was friendly. No A/C, the neighborhood is quiet so open windows were an option all night.

Det är fint och rent rum bra bemötande av personal och lugnt området men dörren till rummet handtaget ska förbättras ska vara samma som innanför dörren eftersom när man kommer ut från rummet man kan inte vridas istället man drar för att stänga dörren så det smäller och man bli väckt av i sömnen under natten när grannarna går ut annars det är bra.

Wir waren über das Pfingstwochenende da. Mit der Lage des Hotels waren wir zufrieden. Die Mittarbeiter sind höflich und freundlich. Leider ist das Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns das Badezimmer. Mehrere Bodenfliesen waren kaputt, in der Duschkabine mit dem Spachtel wurde „improvisiert“die Löcher zu reparieren.
Sonst fanden wir für den Preis alles in Ordnung.

Die Zimmer waren ok, wenn man nix dickes erwartet. Das Hitel liegt sonst ganz gut direkt am Flughafen Tempelhof. Das Bad hat schon bessere Tage gesehen, da müsste das Hotel nachbessern. Das Zimmer war sonst sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Service und die Lobby war gut. Das Personal freundlich, nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Da ich das Zimmer nur zum Schlafen hatte und tagsüber unterwegs gewesen bin war dies völlig ausreichend.

Vi giver hotellet en middel karakter, for det var nogenlunde som forventeligt til prisen. Der var enkelte irriterende småting på begge værelser, men i ok stand og renlighed.

Schlecht gesäubert, Bad bzw. Dusche in schlechtem hygienischen Zustand. Laute Geräusche aus Nebenzimmer und vom Flur. Verletzungsgefahr beim Öffnen der Flurtür vom Treppenhaus aus, wenn ein anderer Kunde von innen die Tür nach außen aufstößt.
Was noch schlecht war: Es wurde vorab per Mail nach der Adresse gefragt, damit man es vor Ort nicht ausfüllen muss. Trotzdem war nichts vorbereitet und man musste es ausfüllen. Auch musste man zurück zum Parkplatz laufen, um einen Park Zettel ins Auto zu legen.
Alles etwas kundenunfreundlich. Das Haus und auch unser Zimmer sieht nach Investitionsstau aus. Insbesondere die Dusche war ekelig: Kalkflecken, Schimmelfugen, rote Ablagerungen in den Fugen.
Erbeten wurde ein Doppelbett, bekommen wurde ein Zimmer mit Einzelbetten.
Was noch schlecht war: Es wurde vorab per Mail nach der Adresse gefragt, damit man es vor Ort nicht ausfüllen muss. Trotzdem war nichts vorbereitet und man musste es ausfüllen. Auch musste man zurück zum Parkplatz laufen, um einen Park Zettel ins Auto zu legen.
Alles etwas kundenunfreundlich. Das Haus und auch unser Zimmer sieht nach Investitionsstau aus. Insbesondere die Dusche war ekelig: Kalkflecken, Schimmelfugen, rote Ablagerungen in den Fugen.
Erbeten wurde ein Doppelbett, bekommen wurde ein Zimmer mit Einzelbetten.

Ich war ja privat in Berlin. Musste Zimmer wechseln, weil der Fernseher defekt war. Das Zimmer war okay, aber ein Geruch im Bad, leider furchtbar. Dann ging auch da der Fernseher nicht richtig. Die Frau von der Rezeption hat versucht, den Antennenanschluss zu richten, was ihr zu 90% gelang.

Das RKI verbietet touristische Reisen, was ich vollkommen nachvollziehen kann! Leider musste ich zu einer Beerdigung und mehrere Hotels in Berlin wollten mich nicht aufnehmen (u.a. Courtyard), da in ihren Augen eine Beerdigung eine touristische Reise ist! War mir neu, aber gut! Unverständlich das ein Manager einreisen und ich nicht zur eigenen Beerdigung meines Vaters darf! 地下鉄の駅からはわりと歩くのですが、バスの駅が近く便利。中心街へは30分と許容範囲。ベルリンの宿の価格を考えると良い。海外では珍しく？シャワーがちゃんとお湯が出るのと水圧も良かった。壁が少々薄いがそんなもんでしょって感じです。フロントの人はわりと入れ替わっていたが、どの人も対応が良かった！

Dette var mitt andre opphold på Berliner Bär. Forrige gang var for ett og et halvt år siden og innehaver husket meg da jeg sjekket inn. フロントも朝食のスタッフもとてもフレンドリー。ややこしいのは部屋番号と階が一致しないこと。部屋の広さはまあまあだがシャワー室が狭い。一番有り難かったのは歩いて2～3分のところにスーパーがあること。また冷蔵庫があったこと。地下鉄まで歩いて10分くらいなので1日券を買って地下鉄、バス、Sバーン、トラムで観光地巡りが出来る。結構広い無料駐車場があるので便利。
