The property was not walkable to the train, shopping, or restaurants. Anything you wanted to do you needed to take a taxi. The property was very clean, staff was friendly. The property was either new or newly renovated. All the rooms had wood floors which was great in terms of hygiene. The downside, you could hear the footsteps of the people above you. With each step you could hear the pounding into the floors which made it next to impossible to sleep. For this reason I would not recommend staying here.

Overall, the stay was good. Good staff and service. Close to public transit (Bus M19 U-bahn Yorkstrasse), resturants and grocery stores. There is a bar with outdoor seating and paid breakfast. Nice glass shower open view to the room. Stayed on the streetside and it got loud as people were passing by. The mattress was hard and the pillows when I requested hypoallergenic were hard and too big. My main complaint and deter me from booking here again was the cigarette smoke that disprupted my sleep nightly. PLEASE KEEP NON SMOKING ROOMS SMOKE FREE.

Very nice clean hotel with great facilities and comfortable bed, wish I had stayed longer than 1 night. Reception and bar staff were very friendly. The walk from the S Bahn/U bahn stations takes about 10 minutes under some old disused railway bridges that used to carry the line from the old Anhalter Bahnhof, the pavement is narrow in places and you have the added hazard of cycles on the pavement. Also there were homeless people on the S bahn station. However Berlin still feels like a safe city compared to Paris/Rome/Barcelona etc. From a previous visit to Berlin the nearby Deutsches Technik Museum is well worth a visit

The surrounding area, however, left something to be desired. There was a great deal of graffiti, and not the pretty artistic kind, and it was a 10 minute walk to both nearby UBahn stations. There were very few eateries within close walking distance for someone who was tired from having been sightseeing all day. Many businesses in the immediate area were closed or seemed abandoned. All that lent to a less than positive feeling for a solo traveling female.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quality refurbishment of rooms that were surprisingly quiet. The beds were comfortable. Public transport with buses stop near the hotel, the U and S-Bahn are a 10 minute walk away with many attractions within a 30 to 40 minute radius. Green initiative offered a free drink any day you did not to have your room cleaned.

Great location. Great hotel. It looks and feels new and modern. Great facilities and superb staff! The soundproofing of the rooms to the street outside was seriously high tech, too. My only disappointment was to realise kettles aren’t provided in the rooms and although the wet room had a great shower, I would have liked to have had a bathtub, also. Breakfast dining was excellent!

This is a brand new hotel with great decor and in a good location. It’s got a 24 hour staffed front desk (which is nice) and a decent breakfast for 19 euros (a bit high for what you get). There’s also a huge organic grocery store right downstairs which is convenient.
I loved the room but one thing Expedia needs to make clear is that there is no fitness center on premises, nor a validated one somewhere else. However there is a large commercial gym about a 5 minute walk down the street you can use for 20 euros/day.

Die Hygiene in unserem ersten Zimmer war absolut inakzeptabel. Unsere Bettwäsche war fleckig mit blut und der Flur war sehr schmutzig. Nach unseren Beschwerden wurden wir in ein anderes Zimmer gebracht, aber auch dort war der Flur immer noch dreckig und die Toilette hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch.
