Polite and helpful staff. Small but clean and adequate rooms. Food choice very limited but a very good bar. Next door to Gleisdreieck U-Bahn Station (U1 and U2), short walk (circa 10 minutes) to Potsdamerplatz. Great if you just want somewhere to sleep and wash, probably less suited if you want to spend time in a hotel.

The room at ALETTO was nice, however some key amenities were missing from rooms. No phone, no chain lock, no fridge, no kettle/tea/coffee, no water bottles, no iron (provided upon request). Generally the room is cute and cozy, breakfast was good but expect the same food daily. The Starbucks and breakfast drink machines were the best part (include the dessert selection). Dinner was good but the same daily. Overall double check what amenities you need before going.

We had a great stay in a very clean and well run Hotel. The room was on the ground floor and as the blinds had to down for privacy the room was quite dark. The breakfast was really good value and the bar nice. Perfect location for sightseeing in Berlin either by walking or U-bahn. One highlight was the proximity to BRLO Brewery which had many fantastic beers and served fantastic food in a great atmosphere.

Not worth the stay

This hotel is very basic like a college dormitory. The rooms are quite small. Poor lighting, poor temperature control. The reataurant is a cafeteria for breakfast and dinner. Even though there is a Ubahn several feet away the location is not good. If you want to relive your college dorm days this is the place.

Very, very close to the subway. Clean, AC, and a small cafe within. Nothing really to be found in the immediate area aside from BRLO Bier Garten, but this makes the area very quiet and safe. So a great stay if you don’t mind traveling a short distance to get to meals and sites

Hotel is about a 15 minute walking distance to Potsdamer Platz and it is right across the U-Bahn station \"Gleisdreieck\". The hotel was very modern (looked to be newly remodeled). Our family room (1 standard bed, 1 bunk bed) was very clean and quiet. It is very small, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might have some issues storing everything and still be able to move around in your room. There were a lot of groups of teens (possibly school classes) hanging out around the hotel, but it was still very quiet. We decided to take advantage of the breakfast buffet (addtl. cost). It was well worth it. Large and fresh selection.

Really handy location with train station on next corner. When we arrived on the Friday night the bar/reception area was very busy with quite a young crowd and we were worried we would have a noisy night ahead but no disturbances at all. Very small compact room but was fine for our needs. Great shower and our older children reported that the bunk beds were comfy.We opted for breakfast and it was delicious and fresh with plenty of choice from the continental buffet style. It very generously goes on until 12 but some of the sweeter things didn’t seem to get replaced so you may have less options if you eat later. They were really attentive in ensuring everything was kept clean and refreshed otherwise though.

Good location for catching a train to visit Berlin attractions. The Biergarten and park nearby was a highlight. The rooms are small but well designed for luggage storage under bed. The hotel encourages buffet breakfast and use of restaurant. No fridge or coffee maker in room. Buffet breakfast was excellent but is an extra charge. Rooftop patio was perfect to relax and enjoy view of neighborhood and city.

Perfect little get away

Their breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a 1 person elevator option to help get up to your room if needed. The room is cute and comfortable.
The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. It was perfect and close to the Eiffel Tower to walk. Many little shops and restaurants around also. Parking lot option is right across the street also.

The unit was very clean, but it felt quite small, especially if you have two large suitcases. While the room could benefit from being a bit larger and having better amenities like a proper table or at least a refrigerator, our overall stay was smooth. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. The location is convenient, witha metro station just a 1-minute walk away. Although major tourist destinations aren't within walking distance, the well-distributed transportation system in Berlin makes getting around incredibly easy and efficient.

Although there were not many facilities in the surrounding areas, the UBahn gave quick access to the city and 45-60mins journey to/from the airport.Room was clean, compactand at the rear of the property, so quiet. Room 101..overlooked the bar, but electric blinds and black out curtains kept the room private.

Management lied about how they deal with Expedia. I tried to make a change in the front desk upon my arrival to shorten my stay by one night and from 4 travelers to 2 due to a family emergency. But the staff said it was up to Expedia and the could not do anything. I called Expedia and confirmed they will support/approve and if the hotel management approves then Expedia would be happy to make the change. Expedia then called the hotel and the hotel just denied the request. When I talked to the manager he just gave me the runaround and offered \"free breakfast\". We ended up having to pay for the extra night without being able to stay there (could have easily booked it to someone else) and being stuck in a 4 person more expensive room while it was only two traveling. Look, I understand there are business processes but customer service is also very important. 5 stars to Expedia for being flexible and trying to help me out, 1 star to Aletto for being untruthful and inflexible to a customer in need. Gave two overall stars because the younger general staff was OK. Hotel location is a bit iffy and it’s geared towards younger crowds. Sort of like a hotel/hostel vibe. Not recommended for business travel.

We visited in mid-July and it was hot. Europe AC is adequate; don’t expect AC strong and super cold like in the US. Clean and comfortable beds and sheets. We were able to check-in early on a Saturday too. Rooms are perfect for average sized people…with carry-on luggages…Berlin tap water is safe and delicious tasting. Staff is so nice! We met Uri who was the bartender and he so awesome. He was accommodating, respectful, and such a happy person. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

Good spot for a few nights. Staff was quite nice and even accommodated a room change when the AC didn’t seem to work in ours. That said, if you run hot, be aware that AC is not great (was set to 19 with the fan on high and barely got below 23). Otherwise, clean rooms, great use of space, and a beautiful building very close to the metro.

Would recommend to everyone (unless you are sensitive to heat). Thanks for accommodating us!

The rooms were nice and clean. But the ceiling of our room had some stains, as if dirty and the pillows were super uncomfortable :(

The hotel was clean and modern. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day, although there was no need to change the towels daily. A suggestion would be some sort of option to choose if the guest would like their towels changed, this would be better for the environment.
Our room was small but suitable for three. Plenty of storage. Shower gel and hand soap available.
The only thing missing was coffee facilities in the room, this was the only downside.
The location of the hotel is ideal, with a subway at the end of the road, about 50 metres away.
Check out is 11 am but there is luggage storage available if needed, we made use of this, everything was safe and secure.
Transport in Berlin was impressive! The UK could learn a lot!
In general, we had a wonderful stay and would return.

We just had 8 days at the hotel. Whilst the hotel is very clean, comfy beds and great hot showers etc, I did have a bit of an issue that the rooms weren't soundproofed as advertised. The first two days we were woken up at 6am by someone in a neighbouring room that had a DOG whining for quite some time, then the following few days a young family stayed near us and we had a young girl chatting very early in the morning and kicking the wall on the bunk bed constantly, so I would say BRING EARPLUGS. The towels, whilst replaced daily, are quite small, so I would reccomend taking a quick dry large travel towel if you have space in your luggage. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, we did bring a travel kettle etc but then there was no way of obtaining a mug. We ended up getting croissants and fruit and juice from a Lidl supermarket a ten min walk away for breakfast in our room as the breakfast buffet didn't really seem worth the money when we saw it and even just a croissant was over 5 euros. On a plus note one evening we did have dinner there and the gnocchi portion was generous and they do make a good strong cocktail. Location was great for pottsdammer platz and tecknik museum and for hopping on the tube to get to places. There is one usb plug and one euro plug each side of the bed and then one euro plug by the TV. A hairdryer is provided in the bathroom. Overall all it was a reasonably good stay but the noise problems were annoying. Staff very polite.

Minimale Schimmelspuren im Bad aber grundsätzlich sehr sauber. Auch die Möglichkeit auf Familienzimmer mit Doppelbett und Hochbett ist toll. Frühstück top. Insgesamt ein wirklich gelungener Aufenthalt. Das Technikmuseum ist 2 Minuten weg - die U-Bahn auch.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Few metres to the nearest train station which is very convenient to have nearby. Area was quiet and honestly was skeptical at first but found it pretty safe.
Hotel staff were friendly during check in and check out. We didnt eat at the hotel but you can book in advance for a reduced price for breakfast. Overall very happy with the stay. The only thing being the room was pretty small for 3 guests but everything was clean.

Hotel location was perfect. We could walk most of the known city attraction. The hotel itself had no simple facilities such as a kettle. We had to get a kettle of our own together with some tea/coffee/sugar etc. Everything is design around selling food/breakfast from he starbuck/Italian restaurant on ground floor of the hotel. towels/bedsheet not changed for the duration of stay (5 nights.) staff not very helpful. First day the tv remote was not working asked if we can have it fixed, reception girl rolling her eyes asked us to maybe bring the remote to the reception. as was leaving the hotel to go out I asked if they could fixed while we were out. she nodded but this never happened. We booked this hotel through Expedia but I would normally ask for a refund if I thought it wouldn’t be too complicated.

Super close to a ubahn station! The hotel is nice and there are a lot of options for breakfast. It was pretty quiet, too. A good jumping off point for traveling in Berlin!

Lovely

Lovely stay, tidy and clean the room every day, comfy and warm, restaurant only open Friday and Saturday so we couldn't try it, you can get a Starbucks on the go and the bar is always open. Very well connect by transport and 12min walking from Potsdamer Platz

The hotel is absolutly excellent.

But don't book this over expedia - they ignore German laws - you will never receive an invoice!!
