They have plenty of parking unground. They share with two other hotels. The only issue is if you have a vehicle that is close to the size of my mid size Tacoma then you might have trouble. It was a bit tricky to get in and out. The room was nice and quiet. The shower had too much water coming out of it due to it being flat. The cups provided….. smelled really bad like unusable. Other then that the hotel room and staff wasn’t bad. Ohh If you want some drinks we had to go to the hotel next door.

Stayed over the first Euro 2024 weekend and overall can't fault the stay. The rooms are basic and clean. Don't expect tea and coffee facilities in the room though (not that this is the be all and end all).
There is also a mini market to buy food and breakfast is optional.

Stay here was basically functional, at best. This hotel appears to have plumbing problems. The toilet in my first room ran constantly. They moved me to another room in which the temp control in the shower didn’t function. The rooms were bare and minimal. There was a tub mat and a bath towel, but no hand towels at all. The hotel also lacked a lounge area where guests could meet in the evenings. We were not permitted to use the breakfast area, although it was empty. Breakfasts were adequate. I will choose a different hotel if I ever get back to Berlin.

A nightmare that had to live And no where to go .Oh my god where do I start bathroom / and shower like space pod and smaller than train toilet the towels shabby and rags and nothing but 2 when I asked front desk gulios from Cameron and mat not helpful and say that is standard???? No hand towel only 2 ragy towels and for xterm towels they gave me floor mats instead?!? We had to change room 2 times due to the clogged sink?!!and the 2nd room no soap??! They calmly said oh that’s normal dust on floors flying and our trace companion who made our mistake and reserved there not much better 1st room had bathroom running all times and 2nd room after soaping her hair the shower had only boiling hot water???! So she rinsed herself with the glass from the sink since it’s small pod room?!? And checked in 2nd or 3rd room I think Expedia should be more responsible to categorize pension and college dorms as a legitimate hotel since ibis is not one with limited amenities and there goes 2days of our vacation with no customers service from gulios and mat in front desk only now next door to this colleg doorm/pension they have something called BUDGET IBIS ???? I wonder how would that be 🤔

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was a good size for a solo traveller but would also be OK for two people, although thereis not a lot of wardrobe room to hang clothing for two people. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fairly spacious. The location is a short walk from Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. There are a couple of cafes around the corner as well as a Lidl.

The key cards (bamboo with magnetic strip) are not fit for purpose & frequently didn’t work on first attempt to open rooms (experienced this with three different rooms on different floors).
On one occasion it took three attempts at getting a replacement card before they provided a plastic one that actually worked each time requiring waiting for a lift back to reception & back & forth. Very time consuming & not what you want when returning to your room after a long day. Staff were helpful but the door kit let this venue down. Needs modernised.

I specifically picked this hotel because they advertise air conditioning. I have a medical condition that requires that I have this. What they don’t tell you is, cooling only works if it is above 22c outside. So, no air conditioning, could even get the air conditioning fan to run. So, I tried to open the window, it will only tilt, which provided very little cool air from outside. I had to leave and go to another hotel. The room was also very worn and I had to kill two bugs.
On top of all that, no refund!!! I tried, hotels.com tried, to no avail.

This was a great place. It’s 5 minutes walk from Potsdamer Platz and to Checkpoint Charlie. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. The staff spoke good English and were friendly. Breakfast was quick and efficient and there was a good spread of things including gluten free bread which you had to ask for. I would stay here again.

Basic but clean rooms at great value for money - perfect for busy sightseeing weekend where you don’t spend too much time in your room. Conveniently located near the Potsdamer Platz. S bahn and bus stops 2 min walk meant getting to main tourist sites was very easy. Nice Mexican restaurant around corner. Coffee bars also close by. More restaurants at Potsdamer Platz. Excellent lobby facilities with good range of snack and drinks to buy. Excellent breakfast selection. Friendly staff. We were able to leave bags on last day after check out which meant we could maximise our time in the city without being encumbered by luggage. Recommend for short break in Berlin.

I was late arriving at hotel on 09/08/22, due to my flight being cancelled. Staff did not explain they had cancelled my booking because of this. An amazing trip in Berlin though the hotel is not up to par. The only thing going for it is the location. Walking distance to the major attractions. The cleanliness is subpar, bathroom stinks and climate control is not properly working. My last stay at an Ibis facility.

We've stayed at a Budget Hotel Ibis so this was an upgrade. The staff was helpful, the rooms were nice: clean bedding, comfortable beds and pillows, a desk, TV, USB ports. A Lidl grocery store is nearby and Checkpoint Charlie is within walking distance. Easy access to a couple of metro stations and busses. Overall a very good experience.

After waiting for about 40 minutes, a family came in an was able to check in. She knew we were sitting there waiting to check in but ignored us and said nothing. (I have to say all the other staff I've met however were very friendly and polite.)

As always, nice spartan simple, good value. The big downside is that the room was stagnant and warm. As the temperature was warmer, I tried to put on the air to cool down the room so I could sleep after getting in from the US. But the air was centrally controlled and would not go on unless it was between 18-23C. I asked at the desk if they could do anything and they said to crack the window. I had to sign a waiver to open it about 2 inches st the top. Due to this, I had to pull back the blackout window shades and use the light white one. This as soon as the sun came up it was bright in my room and there was constant street noise. I didn’t get much sleep and was tired out by the time I left. It’s a great little hotel but I won’t stay there again as it was uncomfortable.

It was enjoyable, the room and hotel are lovely and clean, nothing too fancy but they do a good job! The only slightly downside is the room became very hot in the evening (in December), the pillows weren’t the most comfortable and the hair dryer was pretty poor. However I’m really picking out small things, all round would definitey recommend. Close to a station and bus stops!
