Super neat hotel. You could practically eat from the floor. The rooms are modern and very well detailed, as is the bathroom. Everything works perfectly fine. Same with the lobby, very spacious and welcoming. I liked the two-option breakfast, where you can go all out on the buffet, or just one serving, for about half the price. Location is good, not particularly near the tourist attractions, but very well walkable. All in all, a great experience.

We book a big room which is comfortable. The only issue we encountered is the housekeeping knocked on the door at 8am one day for cleaning which is way too early. Another instance is that she knocked on the door & then opened it around 3pm, probably thinking we were not in the room. We found this part a little strange.

The staff in every section could not have been better. The reception staff were friendly and knew exactly what was required. They were even very embarrassed by a slight IT glitch on arrival. The serving and bar staff were excellent too. They were attentive and helpful at every level as well as being extremely polite and friendly.

Really nice and clean modern hotel. Every member of staff was both extremely accommodating and kind. Can't fault a single thing the hotel was Amazing. 24/7 shop for any late night munchies. The hotel really do go that extra mile too, we forgot toothpaste and toothbrushes and they provided this to me and my fiancé free of charge for passengers that do forget. Highly recommend thank you so much.

Wonderful clean and conveniently located hotel. All the main must do sites were 15 minutes walk in one direction or the other with a close by underground station as well.
Hotel was immaculate, rooms comfortable and modern and clam and welcoming social areas. Breakfast was good with choice for every dietary need.

What a GREAT hotel. We walked so much over our stay because the location is great. The breakfast choices at the buffet were fantastic, and the staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable.
We had a wonderful corner suite with plenty of space for us all to relax in the evenings.

There is a man who works at this establishment who accused me and my friend of not being hotel guests when we were on our floor (which you need a key card to get up to). Overall the hotel is lovely but that singular experience left a bad taste in our mouths. This is more or less a warning for any women or people of color who are deciding to stay at this hotel.

Newly renovated, outstanding service from the front desk. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Good bar and lounge in the lobby with outdoor seating and happy hour (2 for 1 drinks) every day.

The breakfast buffet was very good and had plenty of options including hot food like eggs, bacon, etc., lots of fresh fruit, a large assortment of breads, hot and cold cereals, and a cappuccino machine. However, if it isn't included in your room rate, it's pricey at 26E. I thought it was worth it!

It was a 15-20 minute walk to many great attractions including Checkpoint Charlie, the opera house, Brandenburg Gate (maybe 20+ minutes for that one), etc.

I enjoyed my weeklong stay at the Marriott Berlin City Center. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous; the lobby is tastefully decorated and comfortable to lounge in for a drink or two after an eventful workday.

Special shoutout to Michael, the hotel’s manager, for a surprise drink voucher during the week too! That was very kind.

I look forward to staying here again on my next business trip.

After checking in I found out that the restaurant and the coffee shop are closed during my entire stay (a week). The temporal dining space is by the entrance/reception and was not comfortable. Room was clean but there are almost no toiletries or water bottle available. Reservation was not flexible for my request of change of stay and it was very disappointing. Staffs were nice, the location was convenient. Overall it was lower than the minimum I expected, I would not return and would not recommend to my friends.

Good choice (but requires some walking)

Very new hotel. Room is spacious, modern and clean. Great stay overall just that the location is slightly off the main tourist sites - there is a tram/ train station that is about 7 mins by foot to the hotel but we had to change train lines for most attractions (we somehow always ended up at Alexanderplatz.) so commuting back and forth from the hotel wasn’t the most convenient. But all in still a good stay.

My friends and I stayed at your hotel from Sept. 29 - October 2. We had a delightful stay in every way. We were greeted upon our arrival with kindness and warmth. Our room was so very comfortable. This was our first time in Berlin and we did not know what to expect. The restaurant became our dining room as we immensely enjoyed the friendly waiters who attended to our every need. The 5 of us ended up sitting at the big round table for all of our meals and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners we shared at that table. On October 1, I left my phone in a taxi. I was so distraught and my friend Suzanne helped me navigate retracing my steps. Another taxi driver kindly called in my missing phone to the central taxi office. We waited several hours where our taxi ride originated and finally decided to go back to the Marriott Courtyard to see if they could help us. An angel named Katarzyna Kiedos helped us at your front desk. She was so encouraging and offered to call the taxi central office to let them know where I was staying. She was very reassuring and told me that she believed my phone would be returned. As we were having dinner that night at our favorite table we got a call from Katarzyna that a taxi driver was in the lobby with my phone! I was overjoyed and relieved. We thanked Katarzyna over and over again. What wonderful employees you have at your hotel- she went above and beyond to be helpful. Overall our experience at your hotel was superb. Thank you, Perri

Plenty of taxis, ubers etc available and only a couple minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Food and drinks in the bar were excellent and reasonably priced.

Only thing i would say, is that the breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, they charge €26 for a hot breakfast and €14 for a small plate (continental). When you go in to breakfast in the morning, they ask you to complete slip, but there is no option to pick which breakfast and they automatically charge the full breakfast hot breakfast for every day, they did alter mine at the end of the stay, but i feel this could be dealt with a bit better.

Problematic start in Berlin

One of my favourite hotels in Berlin for design, convenience, transport access, location etc. Refurbished 2 years ago. Nice rooms (generally, but see my later comments), good Wi-Fi, nice breakfast buffet, modern, clean and tidy.
This trip, however, did not start off well! Due to the European football championships, the rooms were at a high price and I booked a 'Studio' for 4 nights with my wife. Upon arrival we were given the largest Studio, which even included a small kitchenette - room 246, a quirkily shaped room but we were very pleased with its presentation, size etc. My 1 worry even before entering the room was that it was located right next to the extended 24-hour access fitness room! I expressed my concern to the receptionist but was told it wouldn't pose a problem. We agreed to try it for 1 night but would probably want to move for the following nights. Unfortunately it became abundantly clear that this would indeed be a problem due to heavy 'free weights' being dropped on the floor. We expressed our dissatisfaction and asked to be moved immediately. Another, smaller, studio was found on floor 5 but upon entering, we noticed a smell of stale smoke so had to reject this one too. After no little 'discussion' we finally negotiated a free upgrade to the 1-bed aprtment on floor 6, which was, surprisingly. available for our stay. Problem solved but with lots of trouble, which spoiled the start to our stay. Why put a gym next to a premium guest room or any room?
