Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and well maintained with the exception of mold stained caulking around the tub. Located in a business area of town, things were mostly quiet even with the rooftop bar on the same floor.

Would give a JF for this hotel…

The hotel was great for our stay, around 5 minute walk to the U Bahn. We walked to the TV Tower in around 20 minutes. The hotel was quiet and really clean. Reception was always on hand to help. The hotel menu was a little limited but the staff were great. It said that they had a laundry service which was quite expensive (€4 for a pair of socks)! All in all though a nice little place to stay that was value for money and very convenient.

Appalling. This is at best a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. For an almost €200/night (post tax) Jr suite my fiancé and I got:

A \"city view\"on the first floor that looked into the courtyard. A \"king size bed\" that was just two small beds pressed together. Weathered chairs, a mini fridge that didn't work, cheap IKEA furniture that was falling apart with parts that were clearly painted over, and a disgusting bathroom.

I've stayed at nicer motels. At least there the price is comesurate with the expected quality.

The location is very convenient: minutes from Alexander Platz, Friedrich strasse and Unter den Linden. Minutes from U5 and U2 stations. Very secure area as the hotel is adjacent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Quiet and nice neighborhood in Mitte with great restaurants. Regular rooms are fair but a bit small. Next level up, rooms are more spacious. Overall simple, clean and no-frills hotel located super conveniently in the heart of Berlin Mitte.

Had a mediocre meal there the first day. Second day they stopped us at the door and told us no breakfast and said we should have not received the first one. Needless embarrassment and error on their part. $6 bottled water no refills in the room after cleaning. No frills, instant coffee in the room, basic.

The rooms are good but their age is showing. The hotel is very clean.
During the stay, there was a water leak somewhere in the hotel and instead of partially cutting off the water supply, they just decided to cut the water supply of the entire hotel, that too without informing the guests. Which was pretty weird and inconvenient.

My first visit to Berlin, better for the hotel. My wife and I were there for 8 days, the room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. We liked the warming lamp in the bathroom. We had the traditional German breakfast only once and found BLND coffee shop right across the street that had pretzel bagels with lox, caprese, and avocado (3 differnt choices), muesli with Chia seeds or yogurt, and pastries that we only had a couple of times. There is also a small shop in the same space and we were able to buy mineral water and some German snacks. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, Grace had the Wienerschnitzel and I had an interesting take on pesto with spinach instead of basil. Every one of the staff were fantastic, helpful and personable and engaging. I would recommend Arcotel John F [for JFK] in a heartbeat

This is the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed at in Berlin. Excellent nights sleep and very comfortable. The Staff were excellent, efficient and friendly, particularly the bar staff. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I will look to stay here again in the near future.

The hotel must have been nice and dandy a couple of years back, but it's past its prime days. Reception is understaffed and not very helpful. We showed up an hour before check in time, the room wasn't ready yet (which is fine) but rather than preallocating us somewhere, we had to show up at 3 when there was a crazy queue. Another guest commented that such waiting lines are ok at Xmas markets not at the hotel. Amenities in the room are minimal (no vanity set, cheap soap in dispensers, no water, no minibar). There was a spot for fruit which is now replaced by a piece of paper depicting an apple. There is a better hotel in the vicinity, I'll be staying there instead next time

The staff members greeted us with a friendly smile arrival. Check in was quick and informative. Our hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of main tourist attractions. We included breakfast with our stay and it was delicious. For diner we walked around the corner to a beautiful Thai restaurant, Good Time, the service and food were amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Weekend stay for the marathon

Had a 3-night stay for the Berlin Marathon. The hotel was conveniently located and we appreciated the pasta buffet on Saturday evening. Our room was spacious and quiet.

Buffet breakfast was good and lasted for many hours during the weekend was nice. The bar was quiet but the service was fine. Overall, the stay was good.

Great stay for a Coldplay Concert and sightseeing

A great stay with very helpful staff. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so I cannot comment on that. The bar was not open most evenings at this time but you could purchase beer and soft drinks from the fridge in reception and sit in the bar area.
The hotel is very convenient for 2 Ubahn stations.

More than adequate

Tub was very high making it hard to enter and exit. Also tub surface was very slippery with no grab bars. Carpet had a number of stains. Other than that, very pleasant stay. Desk staff was very good.
