The hotel was clean and modern. It's just that the hotel didn't provide extra services such as transfer from and to hotel. They didnt recomend a third party service either. Other than, everything was good. We didnt try the restaurant. I borrowed a luggage scale from the receptionist so that was helpful.

After 27 hrs of travel, First night stay was told to evacuate due to WW2 bomb in proximity.
No alternate accommodation provided. Hotel reopened following day.
Paid Breakfast meal was congested with flies, poor selection, stale bread/pastries.
Basically machine style food.and drinks.

We loved this hotel! Stylish, light, airy, with a comfortable bed and it included a kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby was a fun place to hang out while waiting for an Uber. (There's an archaeological dig under the glass floor of the lobby which is so interesting!).

Perfect for a city break

Loved that there was laundry, but we had to pay for it. The lounge area has a glass floor with a historic museum/site that you can view under the glass. Location was quite close to a train station

Friendly staff, helpful in recommending dining options nearby. Little grill restaurant 3 minutes from hotel was very nice.
Only downside was fire alarm with subsequent evacuation around midnight. This is not the hotels fault, but a guest cooking in the room and triggering the smoke alarm. Note this is a suites hotel and all rooms come with cooking facilities, so beware of incompetent hobby chefs.
This hotel is near popular Nikolai Viertel.

The staff were incredible - all so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a good variety with meat and vegan options available. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows which was beautiful! And a kitchenette with a microwave, hob, sink, coffee machine and washing machine. Good size television with a range of channels including German, English and French channels (maybe more but I didn’t see). The bed was comfortable - my only thing I would improve would be blackout curtains and a firm pillow option as I’m personally used to it being very dark and use a firmer pillow. I liked that the rooms were only cleaned every 3 days as this is more environmentally friendly, however if you require more, you can ask at the reception. The reception is 24 hours so if you need anything, they’re happy to help. I needed earplugs one night as our upstairs neighbour was heavy-footed and they provided me with some which was very helpful. There is also minimal noise from outside during the night, just sirens occasionally. The area felt relatively safe and it was an easy walking distance to Alexanderplatz - about 10 minute walk or less if you walk quickly. About a 15-20 minute walk to Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate. About a 5 minute walk to the Berliner Dom and Museum Island. There’s also a supermarket across the road where you can buy food to cook, saving you some money during your stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. They made our stay with our 2 year old very comfortable!

We loved our stay here last November. The hotel is walkable to a lot of restaurants, museums and other interesting spots in Berlin. The daily breakfast was wonderful, the staff were all kind and helpful, the bedroom was very clean. We also appreciated the laundry area in the hotel as it was very clean and all the services are available via an app. We'd love to return to this hotel again one day.

Great location. Room was 28 degrees in January with only option to regulate temp to turn system off leaving room still at 25 degrees and stuffy (windows don’t open in rooms).
No house cleaning offered over 7 day stay, and no top ups of provided supplies (careful with your toilet paper use!)
In room washer was musty with washed clothes smelling worse then when they went in

Good for a long term stay

Did not realize this was more of a long term stay situation so good if that’s what you are looking for. Parking is extremely limited, we were very lucky to have snatched 1 of 5 spots! The room was spacious and comfortable containing a kitchenette area. I wouldn’t consider this property to be a full service hotel but the staff we interacted with were very nice and pleasant. Location is not ideal for touring the popular tourist spots and restaurants are limited, in general,in that area. Unfortunately you can hear everything going on outside your room in the hallway. We had some pretty loud neighbors who kept slamming their door late at night, pretty unpleasant. Overall I would recommend this property to those who need accommodations for a week or more but not for less.

Very conveniently located in the Mitte district with a grocery store just across the street. The rooms are incredibly spacious with modern amenities, including an economy size washer that can also be used as a dryer! All of the staff were super friendly! Our room had a great view, and the beds were extremely comfortable. My only issue was the fact that they didn’t really have a working bar we could hang out at the end of the day and have a cocktail.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We traveled for two weeks to 5 countries, and Capri was our favorite one. The studio premier was so much space for us two. It felt like a little condo. We were really pleased with how modern and updated the place was and were really happy with the location. They also had a glass floor overlooking the well that the hotel was built around, which I thought was a unique and cool touch. The only thing is that the room itself was always hot no matter how high you turned the AC. We tried everything to cool it off and spoke to the overnight desk staff one night when we couldn't sleep with how hot it was and nothing helped, but we would still stay here again simply due to how nice the place was.

Good location. Despite being on a busy road the room was quiet. In easy reach of Humboldt Forum and other museums, plus several nearby metro stations. Laundry facilities were really useful and the room was spacious and clean. One slight criticism would be that things were not brilliantly designed - the curtain came right off the rail as there was no stopper on the end and the shower screen was too short so water went all over the floor. I would stay here again however and found it to be good value.

The location is exceptional - many “things to see in Berlin” are in a walking distance. The service desk employees are well trained, friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The quality of “little things”, like soap, shampoo, napkins, etc was also above average. Wi-Fi was fast.

A well appointed hotel with scammy practices

First, thanks to Hotels.com for solving the issue described below in spite of the hotel staff’s initial absurd and impolite approach. One major reason why I always book through Hotels.com and not directly!

This hotel is located in the heart of Berlin. It is big, modern and beautiful inside and outside. It is clean and has spacious rooms with kitchenettes. All nice, however their scammy practices are to be avoided.

The checkin is just wrong, both in terms of staff preparedness (there’s just one, very slow, and in my experience rude, person at a time), and more importantly in how they double-charge you.

My booking being paid through hotels.com, I was told I needed to still give my card “as a guarantee”. My wife arrived early she explained that all was paid and was assured by the clerk she only needed to tap her card as guarantee. Lo and behold, the hotel used their charging privileges (they can charge without PIN over the card’s normal amount based on “verbal consent”) and charged hundreds of euros. When asked they said “only guarantee”.

Only at checkout, an extremely rude Spanish lady, who refused to take the matter up with management (let’s not disturb them on a weekend!) said it was actually the room rate. On being shown that it had been paid twice (after much disbelief) she acknowledged but refused a refund. Only hotels.com’s intervention solved the matter.

I will inform Berlin Land’s consumer protection agency about this practice and will not return.

Hotel nice and clean and comfortable. But the breakfast was terrible. There was no food, a few bread rolls, a yoghurt - literally that was all. Gave myself and 4 other colleagues no energy for the long day we had ahead - worst breakfast offering I've seen in a hotel of this kind. I wouldn't mind so much if it was free, but they charged 15 EURO for it.

The property is modern, clean and has all the amenities you need for a city centre based hotel. 5mins walk from the nearest underground stop and a supermarket over the road. The room itself was clean, well stocked with great shower products and other amenities. We didn’t use the gym facility so cannot comment on that. The room in the winter has no windows that open and we did find the room was too hot due to there not been a cooling system within the heating system. Overall would highly recommend Capri by Fraser to anyone wanting a central Berlin stay.

First timers in Berlin!

Excellent hotel in a great location for our first trip to Berlin. Many places within walking distance but also bus and U-Bahn stops within a few minutes walk - so you could get anywhere. Room was super - clean, comfortable and modern. Great to have a kitchen area when needed.

The interior of the hotel is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room is one of the best designed hotel rooms I have stayed in. However, there was an issue with the air-conditioning, which I believe is a permanent design flaw. Apparently It has summer and winter settings and couldn't cope with the fact that it was October and pretty warm outside so would only blow out warm air. The room was suffocatingly hot with it on and if it was switched off it was still too warm plus totally airless. The staff were sympathetic but had no option but to give us the key for the glass doors - which opened directly out on to a 3 storey drop and which we had to keep open all night if we wanted to breathe. Our room overlooked an 8 lane road, which was busy all night and the traffic noise and constant sirens meant very little sleep for the first couple of nights. The 3rd night the receptionist found us a room the other side of the hotel, which was much quieter so we finally got some sleep! Also, the bar was shut the entire time we were there 'for operational reasons' and without the bar, you may as well be staying in an Airbnb! These two things spoiled what would have otherwise been a lovely stay.

Die Lage auf der Museumsinsel ist für Berlin schön zentral und lädt abends zum Schlendern ein. Entlang des Wassers und in den Nebenstraßen gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants. Direkt gegenüber vom Hotel liegt ein Supermarkt. Das Hotel selbst liegt an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, je nach Lage des Zimmers hört man nachts den Verkehr.
Das gebuchte Doppelzimmer mit Kitchenette war modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal war freundlich. Schönes Detail im Eingangsbereich: Durch den Glasboden sieht man Ruinen des alten Berlins - schön wäre, wenn es irgendwo ein Schild mit einer kleinen Info zu den Ruinen gäbe.

He was able to go ve us some very useful local tips, and also a bandaid in the matter of minutes :) The room was amazing, breakfast was THE best! The gym was also very nice... Great location...easily walkable to Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, etc. Nice bright room, beautiful bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Nice toiletries provided, plus sparkling water. Kitchenette was nice, too. Also has access to free self-serve laundry on 1st floor.

Overall a great spot to stay

Lovely hotel room. Very modern and quirky. Bus stops straight outside for travel in both directions. Also has cafe attached and supermarket directly across the road. Within walking distance of museum island and Alexanderplatz. A row of riverside restaurants nearby. You even get a mini pack of Haribo on your bed for when you arrive.

Was not 5 star for a couple of little things. “Free bottled water” on the listing is simply just one bottle in your room for your arrival - not replaced at all during our 3 night stay. Also coffees, milk cups and toiletries not replaced even though all finished by the 2nd night - would have though this would be checked while servicing the room.

Overall a good stay but just let down by lack of detail on these little things. Would stay again if even going back to Berlin

A lovely experience & stay.

I have no complaints only praise for the hotel, room, & staff. My only quibble was the amount of building work around the area, although this wasn't noisy or disturbing it was obvious!
It's really not a complaint & I would definitely recommend the hotel, we found it a great location as a base. The closest underground station was a 5 minute walk. The river, bar & restaurants about a 4 minute walk.
