Central but not the best experience

Check in was easy and the location was about 7 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz. Not a charming place though. Right across from the fire station and right next to the s-bahn. Both meant a lot of noise throughout the day (and night).

Everything was nice and clean and the bed was made. Extra towels etc available. However, the bed was not at all comfortable; it felt like an old box matress where half the springs were broken. In combination with old foam pillows that felt like they were completely torn apart on the inside, i did not have a good nights sleep there. My neck and my back still hurts. The duvet was also not very comfortable or breathable.

Aside from the sleeping conditions, everything was good and the quality matched the price i'd say.

Conclusion: find somewhere else to stay outside of Mitte.

Awful late night check in experience.

We arrived late on Thursday evening. Self check in wasn't working so we had to wait for receptionist, unfortunately nobody appeared for around 30 mins so we were left sat in the reception for all of this time. Once he arrived he explained that his system was down so he could not check us in properly and did not know which rooms were ours. He proceeded to take us to what thought were empty rooms only to find they were already occupied by other guests, he attempted to enter 3 different rooms which were already occupied, disturbing other guests at 1am in the morning! At this point he was clearly feeling pretty stressed so asked us to wait back in the lobby as he carried on checking for empty rooms. We waited another 30 mins in the lobby before he eventually found 3 empty rooms for us.

We had booked 3 twin rooms but were actually given one family room with double bed and bunk beds which meant one of our group had to sleep in bunk beds for 3 days.

In total we waited well over an hour to be given rooms which weren't what we had booked, not what you need when arriving late at night. We weren't even given entry codes for our room and had to check in the following morning. There wasn't much in the way of an apology for the inconvenience caused.

On the positive side, the Hotel was well priced and a great location for exploring Berlin, close to transport links and rooms were adequate, didn't try breakfast. If not for the check in issue, i would score the hotel higher.

Got there at midnight the check-in was still open. Offered breakfast as an add on declined initial but did it the last morning (personally wasn't worth the money cereal muffin cheese salami bread roll and yoghurt). Rooms basic but clean. If IKEA designed hotels this would be theirs. Good position few minutes from the Alexa centre about 10 mins from the TV tower

12 minute walk from subway. Nice location. Super convenient. I did a day tour and it was only a 20 minute walk to meet my group. Cafe across the way was nice for breakfast. Yeah, what's not to like.

The hotel managed very well the situation that they didn’t had our 4 bedroom available. They provided us with two double bedrooms at their expense.
It may have been an issue of holiday staffing but we were assigned with twice rooms that were not clean serviced.

The hotel is overall not bad, but reception staff was very rude, and they’re a little bit racist also.(Reception staff -they’re all from different countries, they’re not germans, but still they’re racists)
If you are Muslim, better don’t choose this hotel. If you have children also carefully choose your hotel, their reception staff could wonder your children, as there’re gey people (batterfly boys) work there. I strongly recommend you to choose another hotel

The motel was well located. Easy walk to everything - museums, food, groceries etc. The room was very clean and tidy. No kettle, but an excellent coffee machine downstairs. My only issue was the very busy train line right outside. And noisey rude Germans next door.

The train tracks were right outside our window which worried me at first, but it was not an issue. The room was not noisy at all.

Nice clean rooms and bathroom.
In a very convenient location, right next to the Alexa shopping mall and within 5 mins walk to Alexandra Platz station and Berlin TV tower. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Easy to get there by train from the airport. 40 mins train ride and 5 mins walk from the station to the property.

The hotel was fabulous. Unfortunately it is on a street occupied by sleeping street people who we literally had to walk around going to and from the hotel. It didn’t feel safe and we felt uncomfortable walking in “their space”.

The staff was fantastic and helpful.
There is no fridge, no coffee making facility. ( there are coffee and snack machines in the foyer ) room very small.
Very close to Alexander Platz which is full of restaurants and shops. Two nights was enough as it is just that a bed and breakfast. Mind there is breakfast available there.

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We were impressed with the soundproofing in the room from both the noise outside and and from other guests. The rooms were compact for 4 people but had everything we needed for a city break and were very clean. We didn’t take breakfast in the hotel as felt it was expensive, but as you are opposite a rather nice shopping centre then there are plenty of options for breakfast. The location was good and was easily accessible, having good train links to all Berlin sights and the airport. Overall we had a great stay at the hotel for the price and would recommend.

I find the room was too small for 3 people. There was very little room to move around. The room also provided the very minimum storage options. The cleanliness was exemplary. The room didn't have a minibar and the hotel refused our request to store some food items in the hotel fridge so we had to throw them away, but they did give us cutlery. Though the hotel is next to the railway, this didn't affect our sleep.

Este hotel está bien ubicado a unos 400 metros más o menos de Alexander Platz y tiene un centro comercial al lado y está cerca de una estación de metro, esos son sus puntos fuertes, pero en lo que respecta a las amenities están muy flojos porque no tienen refrigerador, no hay planchas, no hay tetera o cafetera y un hotel de esa categoría no puede darse ese lujo, ahora estoy en un hotel de menor precio y menor categoría y si tienes estas cosas que les faltan al B&B Alexander Platz.

You have to walk a bit for cool places to eat or drink. PERFECT place to stay in Berlin.

This hotel is located 5-7min away from 2 U-Bahn. Very easy to go around. The surrounding area is also walkable. If you need food, there's a food court 2 min walk from the hotel, and plenty of small shop, including a small Asian food shop 1 min away. The wall in the room is thick so we did not hear any traffic or neighbors apart from when their naughty little kids playing prank by knocking on our doors. The breakfast menu is very reasonably priced and worth it, served timely from 06:00. Roy, the manager, was very friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. If you want a laundromat, there's a new one just 12 min walk. PERFECT place to stay in Berlin.

Just Fine!

As we ended up deciding to stay an extra night, we contacted the hotel within months of the booking to ask to stay in the same room. Informed this wasn’t a problem, the lady on arrival ( very unwelcoming) said we need to speak to the manger the next day. In the morning, the guy at reception was helpful and had sorted quickly. He then processed the city tax and everything was fine. At checkout I was then informed I had to pay the city tax again, even though I showed that both payments had been made on the card. As it was not much I just paid it again. In brief, decent location… clean.. but very poor service.

We very much enjoyed the stay. Room was as expected, not big but not too small either. The bathroom was rather small, but we managed anyway. Hotel is also in a short walking distance from Alexanderplatz which was faitrly convenient. We would definitely come back if having the choice.

Worst service ever.

Worst staff, no customer service orientation. We had no AC in the room so we opened the window and it was extremely noisy because train station was right next. We went down to the FD to see if we could get another room and the Front Desk attendant said well, you can’t have everything. Definitely not customer service oriented. Get ready for your worst night’s sleep and unfriendly front desk associates. We came down the next day after noon for a room change, and he said oh you’re late you should’ve come sooner. Got no one in Housekeeping to clean the room if we move you. Very bad service, very unfriendly staff very sad.

La habitacion esta bien, lo que falla es la calefaccion (capada a 25 grados, y en berlin en noviembre hace mucho frio. Al llegar tenia las ventanas abiertas y hemos tebidi durante los 3 dias seguidos la calefaccion puesta de forma casi ininterrumpida y aun asi seguía haciendo un poco de frio. Y luego la atencion, resulta que no hacen lahabitacion ni cambian las toallas ni nada si no lo solicitas en un QR, y el chico de recepcion no me lo dijo hasta que pregunte el ultimo dia. Me lo dijo el viernes por la tarde segun saliamos del hotel, y cuando volvimos a la habitacion ya era tarde (2am) , y no me dejaba solocitarlo para el sabado, aso que hemos estado toda la estancia sin toallas y sin que nos hicieran la habitación

Ich möchte hier eine grosse Lanze für das Hotel brechen. Unser Zimmer (Familienzimmer) war im neunten Stock, hatte keinen Schimmel, man hat auch die Bahn und andere Bewohner nicht wirklich gehört.

Unser Zimmer (erreichbar mit einem Zahlencode) war super sauber, die Betten mega bequem und wir hatten direkte Sicht auf den Fernsehturm. Das Reinigungspersonal verdient von uns an dieser Stelle ein grosses Dankeschön für Ihren Job, welchen sie tagtäglich machen.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen deshalb hier nicht unterzeichnen. Wir waren vor 15 Uhr dort und durften unser Gepäck lagern bis wir dann am Abend eincheckten. Kostenlos. Was ich auch sagen kann; Die Lage ist Top. Es ist gleich neben dem Einkaufszentrum Alexa, wo ein Edeka drin ist und Zara, H&M und all die anderen grossen Ketten inkl. Fitnesszenter, Frisör und Bowlingbahn.

Nebem dem Alexa zirka zwei Minuten vom Hotel hat es ein süsses Kaffee (Grandaire), welches ab acht Uhr Bagels (6.50€), Müesli (4.5€)und wirlich super leckeren Kaffee (so um 3$) serviert. Es ist immer sehr gut besucht, was die Qualität unterstreicht.

Das Hotel liegt zirka fünf Minuten Gehdistanz vom Alexplatz entfernt, mit all den tollen Ausgeh-Essensmöglichkeiten (TK Maxx, DM, Kamps, Curry 61, Primemarkt, Kaufland, C&A, Five Guys, Starbucks, Footlookers, Tschibo, Interio und ein grosses Kino, wo man dienstags immer für 50% hin gehen kann).

Nur eine Haltestelle mit der S-Bahn entfernt liegt das Dungeon und direkt beim Alex das Ikono.

Hotel bom. De fato o barulho do trem incomoda se abrir as janelas, como fui no inverno, mantive fechada e não tive problemas. Acho que no verão seria um problema pois o ar condicionado só funciona como aquecedor. De resto, não há o que reclamar.

Waren für ein Kurztrip in Berlin. Waren neben dem Alex, da gibt es ein Riesen Kaufhaus mit Tiefgarage, wo wir auch geparkt haben, Tagessatz allerdings 25€. Aber ist ok, bevor ich ganz Berlin umfahre wg. billiger Parken. Hotel war sauber, was uns wichtig war, frühstücken war ok, pancake für die Kinder wären toll gewesen wenn es die noch geben würde. Also B&B jederzeit wieder.

Nous avons passé un tres bon séjour. L'hôtel est tres proche d'Alexanderplatz et du centre commercial Alexa, ce qui est tres pratique. Nous avons aussi profité de la location de vélos à l'hôtel.

Preis Leistung ist wirklich super . Einziges Problem , bei offenen Fenster kann man einfach nicht schlafen da die Bahn genau nebenan ist. Ist das Fenster zu hört man fast nichts.

Leider liess die Hygiene sehr zu wünschen übrig.
Zudem hiess es, die Rezeption sei 24h besetzt, ausser beim Einchecken, war aber nie jemand dort.
