Staff were really friendly and helpful - overall a nice hotel. Breakfast was mostly continental - with only selected hot items (scrambled eggs, some chicken “nuggets” and baked beans - quite a weird combo). One critique - the bed in room 423 was terrible - it felt like a fold-out bed.

The hotel was smart and quirky/modern similar to other Moxys, just five minute walk from the train station.
The room was fairly small but comfortable with cool lighting round the TV and tables. My laptop just about fitted on the table but there is plenty of room on the ground floor to work if you need to. The room also didn't have a safe box. Bathroom was small but shower was decent enough but no demisting mirror or magnifying mirror like some modern hotels have.
Staff on reception and at the bar were friendly. Overall my stay was good enough for my two nights in Berlin.

We didnt eat breakfast at the hotel as we found that the breakfast was too expensive for what you got. So we went accross the road to the train station to have breakfast as their was a good variety of cafes there. We were greeted at the moxy with a free cocktail which was a nice touch , but it tasted awful ,it was like drinking cordial. You were only given a choice of gin or vodka in it , neither of them I like. I was disappointed that there was no tea or coffee in the room .We were told we could have free coffee and tea from downstairs which we did. On the third day I went to get a coffee but was told they had stopped doing free tea and coffee. Our son had acoffee machine in his room and he doesnt have hot drinks so I asked the bar staff if I could put it in our room and he said no as it was a new building .I did borrow it from my sons room and put it back the morning I left.So I dont know what the problem was. We stayed for 4 nights as the hotel was near the Uber Arena ,which we went to for a rock concert . The hotel was clean ,but I didnt sleep well as the bed wasnt very comfortable ,so I would rate the hotel good.

Perfect place to stay in Berlin

Great place to stay in Berlin. We were very satisfied with the location and proximity to the city centre. The hotel is in walking distance to many points of interest such as the East Gallery and only a short bus ride to other points of interest. The room was very clean and spacious. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival as well so overall very happy with our stay! Highly recommend.

Stayed for 5 days in August.
The hotel is 3 mins walks from Berlin Ostbahnof, which makes it absolutely perfect for getting around the city with excellent transport links. Several SBahn and UBahn stops. As well as a bus terminus. Also plenty of hire bikes/scooters in the vicinity.
Hotel staff were friendly, even provided my friend with a free cocktail when I checked in. The hotel has a great decor and feels like a space that is more than just a hotel. Also, always smelt amazing.
The room itself was clean and nicely presented. A kettle would've been great, but it not being there was motivation for me to get out early and explore the local area.
Which is great, lots of great places that you can reach by foot, Berghain, East Side Gallery a little further in Warschauer, 1 stop on the SBahn, is RAW Gelende and you can also pick up the UBahn here to get into Kreuzberg really easily.
A great stay and would potentially consider returning for my next visit.

Couldn’t recommend this location more.

They have a 24 hour comment space which is great for working, and always has snacks and coffee. The location is great, nearby everything.

But most of all, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and greeted me by name every time I walked in and out.

The bathroom was smelly and every some time the bad smell would come in the room.no way to contact the front desk from the room. The tv was set on very low volume and couldn’t be changed. We didn’t get our room made while we were away. Couldn’t open the windows because its loud ( next to train tracks).

The hotel is a few minutes away from Ostbahnof station which connects to the whole city and has direct trains to the airport too. The East side gallery is also a few minutes walk away. Room was a good size, comfortable bed and pillows. Shower had great pressure and water was hot. Free complementary drink for guests offered. The lobby was very lively and buzzing at all times, lots of cool areas to hang. My room looked onto the parking lot which wasn’t a great view BUT it was quiet so good if you’re a light sleeper.

The negatives - the area doesn’t really have much to do except for the east side gallery (but as I said before it is well connected by buses/trains). I didn’t try the breakfast but it was €18 (a bit pricey in my opinion given its mostly continental). I had to wait a bit when checking-in as there was only one person at the bar (and checkin area). Would’ve been fine except I wasn’t acknowledged which isn’t the best welcome. However another member of staff came and served me quickly when he saw I had been waiting. Just would’ve been nice to have been acknowledged when I arrived.

Great location in Berlin, bus and train station just a short walk away. The main lobby is really nice and welcoming and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean, smart TVs can only link up to YouTube, no other apps available. All in all comfortable stay.

A very modern hotel but I had two single beds and they were way too soft and the pillows were not comfy at all. No wardrobe no draws no mini fridge and for the cost of the hotel that’s not good.

The WiFI is barely usable I couldn’t even stream music on my iPad let alone anything else.

The staff were really lovely and offered us a free welcomed drink. We booked the Queen Bed room which was small, but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very powerful, which we loved! The hotel is near one of the main train station which is very convenient if you are travelling from the Berlin airport. The immediate surroundings are not the prettiest but you are near the East Side Gallery. Holzmarkt 25 is a short walk from the hotel a great place for a drink and food by the river - a little hidden gem!

Went to Berlin for an anniversary trip with my wife and really enjoyed our stay at the Moxy.

The hotel seems fairly new and was clean and well equipped. What made the hotel even better were the staff. The staff were absolutely fantastic and really helpful.

Gave us some great suggestions for local cuisine to travel trips around town.

Honestly the staff there are a credit to the brand and I will definitely be returning there soon.

Fun, stylish hotel with great staff and communal areas. Had a room on the top floor with a nice view. Room was small but perfect for my short weekend trip. Beds could be more comfortable but the bathroom was good, had great products and a shower with great water pressure. Amazing location! Pretty new ans „hip“ hotel missing out on the basics. No room service (and no phone to call the reception), no hair dryer in the room and loosely fixed bed sheets (you basically sleep on the mattress). There are was better options in Berlin even in the same area

Nice hotel, good location but bed and privacy lack

The hotel was good value for money and in a great location. Also a smart and clean hotel.

A couple of negatives. The bed is quite uncomfortable (a plastic coated mattress under a thin sheet and one small pillow for each person) and on two occasions during our 4 night stay the cleaners came into our room around 8.30am. We didn't have a do not disturb hanger outside but this is too early for the cleaners to come into the room

The most Hipster hotel you'll ever stay in.

Great hotel. I don't think I'm hip enough to stay here. :-) We looked around the elevators to see where we check in because the front desk looked like a coffee house. Great location right across from the train station. Great grocery store right down the street.
One thing I did not like about this place is there are no drawers or closets. Not your dads hotel for sure.

Stealing happened in my room

I checked in tomorrow 15 aug and today when I came back to hotel room after end of day, I found my mobile charger detachable plug is not in socket. I complained at service desk about it and they are saying they are not responsible for this. How can my stuff disappear from room, it’s not about charger, tomorrow expensive things can disappear and hotel staff is not responsive and responsible then who is? I consider it as theft, or probably I’m not European so they don’t care. They think they can steal and where and to whom we will complain. Hotel staff told me go and buy a new one. Tomorrow they take something else and tell me buy a new one

Location is super convenient for transportation, the prices are amazing, the staff very friendly, and amenities at the hotel are great. The immediate neighborhood is a bit desolate, but who cares -- it's a 10-minute walk to Warschauerstraße and a 5-minute S-Bahn ride to Alex.

The key to Moxy is understanding the brand, it's not a crazy full service hotel but a great mix of hotel, work, and fun. For this trip it was perfect. What really stood out is the service at the reception/bar. It was 100% excellent. From handling reservations to making sure you were comfortable I was incredibly impressed. House keeping had a tendency not to grab trash I may have left on the floor so no 5 stars but easily recommend. Location also fantastic due to 3 minute walk to great public transport hub.

Very convenient hotel. Not much charm, but everything is clean and functional. Common areas have lots of seating, lots of tables etc, so it is very well thought out. Location is very convenient to Ostbahnhof. Only thing, be warned this is the kind of hotel that English stag parties end up at on the weekend--though they seemed fairly well behaved, and the rooms are very well soundproofed. Bathroom is really rather small, as is room. Not the best value for 180 euro per night.

The lobby entrance is made with attention to details and the service at the counter is not less than perfect. But the room lacked basic amenities which I wouldn't think checking - wardrobe, phone, mini fridge. The room is small, felt smaller then the promised 16 sqm and the air conditioning was working on heat mode even though it was very hot outside.

Location is fantastic. Direct line to the Airport, train S will take you where you need, or you can take a 20 min walk to the very center. Rooms are small but clean and very nice to stay in. We felt safe and comfortable. Check in works 24 hrs, as well as the snack bar, which is amazing in the city where everything closes as 8pm. Staff are the best we have met - very welcoming, nice and helpful. Just superb staff. The only complaint is the absence of air conditioning. We even asked staff, and they came to our room, but could not turn it on. We would only stay here in summer IF the air conditioning works in the room. Please check that before you check in, and you'll be fine.

I love The Moxy Berlin. I have stayed there 3 times on my 9 trips to Berlin. It's modern, clean, very close to some of the best clubs! And a stone throw from Osbanhoff train station which is 1 stop to Alexander Platz. The staff or always happy and super helpful.
It's my now chosen place to stay when I visit Berlin

Funky and comfortable hotel

Trendy and smart hotel in a convenient location and with a lovely bar and breakfast. Staff are very welcoming.
