Lovely hotel very close to the Uber arena and music hall. Lovely, helpful staff and excellent breakfast options. It's a shame the rooftop isn't open on Sundays , especially in nice weather, so we didn't get to experience this. I also think it would be nice to have 2x of each complimentary drink if 2 people have booked the room? Would strongly recommend this hotel still!

We stayed here six nights. Rooms were very quiet. Staff was gracious and accommodating. Lots of restaurants near the facility and walking distance to transit and shopping. Area is a bit touristy... lots of American brands. But it felt safe.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, just 15 minutes from most sightseeing spots in downtown Berlin. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is next to the Uber Arena, which can sometimes be quite noisy. It features a great rooftop bar with good drinks. The breakfast buffet is large but expensive. The staff are very nice, and the room and bathroom are clean, with a comfortable bed and sofa.

The only complaint I have about this place was the weird small duvets they give you. Way too small. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Imagine opening your window and seeing the Berlin Wall! Billy, a member of the staff, was amazingly friendly and helpful, and he went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again...although I might bring my own comforter.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the roof bar. However one thing was that it should always be available to hotel guests. On our last evening it was closed for a private event - we think that that is wrong as it is described as a hotel amenity. There should be a dedicated area for hotel guests.

Very chic hotel in heart of Berlin

This was a beautiful hotel with really friendly staff. The location was great, right across the street from East Side Gallery and near S- and U-bahn lines. This area is touristy during the day but not like Mitte... it is closer to more residential neighborhoods that have great food and shops. Lots of good restaurants, some grocery stores, and bakeries nearby. The hotel restaurant was not open during our stay but the rooftop bar was very cool, drinks were expensive but view was nice with lots of comfortable seating.

Good:
- Great location, within walking distance of restaurant, bars and clubs
- Room is quiet, clean, spacious
- Great bed
- Nice rooftop bar

Bad:
- Service could be improved. For a hotel with such high ratings would expect friendlier, more efficient and/or more helpful service. So perhaps just moderate your expectations
- Amenities lacking like pool, there is a gym
- Bicycles not great quality and pricier.

3 day trip, first thing to say is to compliment the housekeeper for a spotless room every day. Good location by the East Gallery and MB Arena. Quiet rooms, stylish, good breakfast, more hot options my only -ve. Single duvets covers on a queen bed, please, hotels, gives us a double!

Hotel Indigo was A+

From the moment we checked in (we had had long train ride and we’re totally exhausted), to the moment we left, this hotel proved to be amazing! The host at checkin was incredibly helpful and kind and got us checked in quickly. Our room completely blew me away! It was clean and beautiful and even overlooked the Spree! I was worried initially that it might be a little loud due to the location, but it was totally quiet and the windows were soundproof. The location was perfect and it was easy to get around. Our room was always cleaned thoroughly and it was great place to come “home” to! My only recommendation would be to allow the air conditioning to go to a cooler setting- we were a little warm during the night, but not bad. Thank you, Hotel Indigo!

Hotel was ideally situate for visit to Verti Music Hall and East Side Gallery. We opted for a quiet room which was on the 5th floor away from traffic noise. Our double room was clean and stylish. Plenty of wardrobe space but lacked drawer space.
Disappointed with both tea/coffee facilities and free mini bar....not enough milk and sugar provided and mini bar only contained one alcoholic and one non alcoholic drink.
There is a rooftop bar with views over the river. The music playing is loud and not conducive for a quite chat.
Staff were polite and friendly.
Overall would recommend a stay at this hotel.

If you are a couple looking to stay at this hotel over the weekend, avoid. The hotel engages in a policy of systematic overbooking. Despite paying upfront for our reservation, when we arrived at the hotel we were told that no room was available. It was late at night. We were put up in considerably worse accommodation nearby (the hotel contests this, saying the star rating was the same), and promised that we would not have to checkout before a certain time the next day. However, we were indeed forced to checkout of the other hotel at noon, ruining our night's sleep (the whole point of booking a hotel was to ensure we could go to bed very late to enjoy the city at night.) The hotel claims there was water damage, but has been unable to provide any evidence of this, and has also separately said that it was double booking. We were offered useless breakfast vouchers (we did not want the hotel breakfast) and a couple of free drinks, which the hotel insists is fair compensation. This hotel engages in a policy of systematic overbooking, so your accommodation is not guaranteed - avoid at all costs.

Modern chic hotel near the East Side Gallery.

A very nice and newer hotel with an interesting style and beautiful rooftop bar to boot, this is a great place to stay near the East Side Gallery / Ostbahnhof / Warschauer Strasse area. We were a couple looking for a nice weekend in the city and the hotel was very comfortable and modern, fitting exactly what we needed.

I wish someone would have explained how the light for cleaning the room up worked. I had no idea until about 3 days into my 8 day stay that there was light service. I was wonder where the Do Not Disturb sign for the door was.

The property is modern with beautiful rooms and located close to lots of bars and restaurants, just across the river. I liked that they give you lots of moisturizer and have a mini bar that includes a couple of free drinks. They also have their own rooftop bar and the staff were obliging.
The one negative is the bathrooms, while nicely designed with great showers, offer little privacy with a hole in the door rather than a handle (that forces you to see the person seated on the pot if you walk by the bathroom!) and a gap between the door and the wall!

The hotel is well located directly opposite the Berlin wall. Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size and well stocked with hair dryer, iron and ironing board, dressing gowns and slippers, also a free mini bar that comes with a selection of soft drinks. The rooftop bar was very comfortable and had great views over West Berlin. We received complementary vouchers for free cocktails on arrival which you are able to use for other drinks.
Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying.

Amazing hotel at the heart of the Berlin Wall!

The Hotel Indigo at the East Side Gallery is an incredible hotel. With unparalleled views onto the Berlin Wall, the rooms were fantastic, clean and comfortable. Close to the S & U-bahn, Kreuzberg and the Mercedes Benz Arena, I cannot recommend higher for a unique stay in Berlin.

Das Hotel liegt fussläufig zur Uber Arena. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes und sauberes Zimmer. auch das Frühstück war klasse. Es gab neben der Auswahl auf dem Buffet noch die Möglichkeit sich weitere Speisen (Waffeln, Eierspeisen, etc) kostenlos zu bestellen.

Sehr modernes, zentral gelegenes Hotel (dirket an der East Side Gallery). Fußläufig ist man schnell in Friedrichshain und Kreuzberg, Ost-Bahnhof ist nur 10 Min. entfernt und die Uber-Arena direkt um die Ecke.
