Nice hotel. I particularly liked that I could buy a sandwich and a drink from the self-serve shop when I got in from my night out as I was hungry.

Good choice at breakfast.

The atmosphere at this hotel is incredible. The breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. The staff was extremely friendly, and since the hotel is endorsed by Gibson, my husband was even provided with a guitar to take to our room. It was an unforgettable experience.

Very convenient walk to Uber Arena for 3 days Laver Cup. Yogurt in concession area appreciated...arena food options horrific. River view room was nice, shower & bedding wonderful, nice large room. Heated bathroom floor appreciated. 3 rooms down blasting sub woofer heavy music 2xs, and reception shut them down each time. Lunch on river so very lovely & delicious Mr & Mrs sandwiches. Loved it!

The room was cozy and unique

Location was incredibly beautiful and calm

It was close to places we wanted to visit: almost 10 -15 min by car
Plus, there were beautiful area to visit and walk around the hotel
Staffs were friendly overall.

The hotel is wonderfully located but in a quiet area. The problem for me was the service from the moment I walked in I felt unwelcomed. Noone walked me through things and my room had many issues including an A/c that didn't work, lights that wouldn't turn off and then I lost all power in the room. And it was hard to get any service for this.

Don't be petty about cleaning, grab more towels.

5 nights stay at the nhow Berlin during May 2024.
Very friendly and nicely decorated hotel.
However, one of the days I had to beg them to clean my room, literally and repeatedly(!):
I went out at noon and asked the reception to get my room cleaned when I'm out, \"Sure, we clean at 2 PM so no problem\".
Came back 3 hours later, to find used towels I left on the floor still there and the room uncleaned.
Went to the reception to comlain and they said they are sending someone right away.
Grabbed a drink in the nice river side balcony and went up 30 minutes later.
Used towels were still on the floor, bed still unmade and room unclean, only this time a bunch of fresh towels welcomed me.
Down to the reception again, \"Very sorry, sending someone right away, 15 minutes\".
Another wait at the bar, upstairs after 20.
More towels! also bathrobes and furry pink flip flops, but the used towels still on the floor, bed was not made, didn't bother to check more.
Down to the reception I went and failing to keep my cool I inquired whether the raising pile of clean towels meant I should clean the room by myself. \"Based on the information we received, you requested more towels\"; \"What information? received from whom? It was ME, who talked to YOU, asking the room to be cleaned\" I told the receptionionist \"No need to explain the difference between towels and cleaning, sending someone right away\". Went upstairs immediately, caught cleaning crew bringing more towels and forced them to clean.

Customer Service Not Up to Par

The hotel itself had a number of nice elements like the convenience store albeit overpriced was quite convenient. The gym was nice and the free water there was a lovely touch. It wasn't obvious; however, where the saunas were located. The location is lovely for a run or stroll and it's close to the East Side Gallery. The bartender downstairs; however, tinged the whole stay negatively by lacking basic customer service cordiality and rolling his eyes in an obvious way and mocking us as we tried to get the sliding doors to open which were slow. We hadn't addressed him and his obviously negative attitude and bravado felt egotistical. Made me not want to frequent the downstairs/bar area.

Overnight Stop - Mixed Feelings

Started badly, overnight before arrival, hotel took incorrect deposit from my account, leaving me short of money and causing embarrassment paying a bill at my prior stop. Invited to check in online, did so and promised priority desk treatment on arrival - no priority desk, so join the queue! Otherwise, service and food good, room a good size and comfortable. Towels and bedding worn - past their best. Not a fan of online concierge, prevents the chance for immediate service, while you wait for a response. I didn’t get one, so cancelled the request. Overall, I would return if in Berlin, but would hope for a better experience.

We stayed a night in the hotel and were impressed by the stylish lobby. Not sure if the pink is the colour for us, but it’s refreshing. Will definitely choose to stay here again if we are in Berlin for another music concert at the Mercedes Arena which is a short distance away. A nice walk that took us less than 20 minutes.

Nice, fun hotel with interesting concept. It seems, though, that they haven't done much refurbishing in the last years - and it would be much needed. Some things don't work as they should (music in the elevators, scheduled bands, room equipment)

The nhow Berlin was everything we hoped for and a lot more. The hotel staff were warm friendly and very welcoming, the buffet breakfast had an excellent selection of food, and the room was comfortable with amazing view of surrounding area.
The hotel was located in a great area, 10-15 minute walk to local U station for train into town, stop for the hop on hop off tour buses, the East side mall and Mercedes arena as well as a large section of the remaining Berlin wall.
Can't fault the hotel, location or Berlin.

Good location. A 5 minute walk to overground rail, underground / tram stations / stops.
Good choice of breakfast items, polite and helpful staff. I personally found the bed and pillows a little uncomfortable, but I appreciate this is a personal view.
Room was big enough and clean, the communal areas has some interesting design touches.

Shockingly rude management and desk staff. Messed up my booking and said they could only solve the problem if I purchased another room.

Then tried to charge me for my room when I checked in despite having paid up front.

No one tried to make it right, no one took responsibility. All it would have taken to make things right was an apology and maybe a round of drinks

Considering I bought 14 people to this hotel for a 3 day trip I was appalled with how I was spoken to and treated. All I wanted was what I paid for

The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, the room had rubbish (empty bottles) in the wardrobe from the previous occupants and coffee stained cups: the bottles were eventually moved after two days when we had asked four times at reception, the cups weren’t changed and hence not used. The bedding was past it’s best with small holes in the duvet cover.

On the whole very disappointing for th be price.

This was an anniversary trip and we asked in advance for a double bed but were allocated 2 single beds. We didnt receive an acknowledgement to our email at all.
We had no internet in our room and the tv was hit and miss throughout our 4 day stay.
The room was not set up for two peoples use as it had 1 coffee cup, 1 tea cup and 1 glass. The paper cups were not restocked.
The hotel advertised, if you opted not to have your room serviced you received a drinks voucher. We did this but no voucher arrived.
The hotel breakfast was lovely, reception very well organised and the bar welcoming. It's in a great area.
It is let down by the lack of attention to detail.

Breakfast was good but at €24.95/person you can easily go to a cafe close by for half the cost.

Our room (1010) was huge, amazing shower, separate toilet, bathrobes and towels provided.

We used ‘felyix’ mopeds to get around for a fraction of the costs of taxis.
It cost around €50 from the airport and taxis sit outside so there’s no hassle.

Entering Nhow is like stepping into another world. The art themed hotel is chic with its cool lo-fi beats pumping in the background. Check in was pretty hassle free and swiftly efficient which was great for this tired traveller. The room is pretty spacious and the shower is generous. My only con would probably be the pillows but that’s nitpicking in an otherwise lovely hotel.

Nice and spacious room, clean. The only complaint would be the temperature, the room wasn’t warm enough most of the time even with heating left at max, wasn’t cold but not comfortable enough.
One more point regarding bed choices, the available options were double and a single or a twin bed. There was no option for double bed alone.

I like the concept of the hotel -- it's geared towards music lovers and has a very hip and modern design. I found the staff very friendly and liked the option to have the breakfast buffet in my room for a small surcharge. My only complaint is the location of this hotel as there is a neighborhood just past the bridge (opposite the wall) where there are a lot of restaurants and businesses to check out, but very seedy characters who harassed me relentlessly in broad daylight. I would not recommend a woman traveling alone to stay in this area. It was a hassle to even grab a bite to eat. I would advise this hotel along with the local businesses to work together to clean out this area as it will affect legitimate businesses in the area.

Stylish, clean, good location but won`t come back

Well, short answers about check-in time with no flexibility about a possible check-in as soon as a room is ready. Just got a no and nothing else.A bit more friendliness would have been nice. Also when booking, it showed that the room has river view which we did not have. It was a room to the main street. The cleaner entered the room at 8:21 even though we were checking out that day and they should have a plan which room is ready or not. Breakfast buffet in Corona times was too busy, hand sanitiser too far away and I have not seen anybody using it when entering the breakfast area. A lot of items too touch to get the rolls or cut the bread and no sign that they maybe changed a bit more often as people touch that a lot. The lady to sign you in for breakfast was awesome. Friendly, helpful, helping everywhere and really being on the job. Exceptional women.The hotel is modern, good location and tries to be something but it lacked for us in organisation and customer service skills and the place was just a bit too big to handle maybe.

Hotel has some cool features and the rooms were large and have a very modern style. The one negative was the constant smell of cigarette smoke which seemed to flow into our room through the air conditioning vents. This was strange considering we were advised the hotel was “non-smoking”. It was that bad that we needed to sleep with the windows open (outside temp was around Zero) and the air conditioning turned off. We advised the reception but they offered no solution. For this reason alone we would not stay at this hotel again.
