Great location for shops and local amenities, U & S bahn, Berlin wall and only 15 minutes from all the central sights. great breakfast too and would definitely stay again either on business or leisure.

The hotel is ideally situated very close to a Mall, Restaurants, Uber Arena/Music Hall and public transport system (U-Bahn/S-Bahn). We have stayed here on numerous occasions, and it will be our first choice on our next visit to Berlin

We arrived early - it would have been good if we could have checked in then. Even though we were not expecting to have the room ready it would have been easier to get the formalities out of the way

Good location. Very basic breakfast. I asked the room to be clean, when I returned to the room they didn't change a dirty towel, the mug with some tea from the previous day was still there. They dropped some of my creams/skin products to the floor. I wouldn't stay here again, very bad housekeeping service.

The hotel is in a busy area but the windows keep the noise out, it’s very convenient to the Uber arena and the Berlin Wall, and very nice view of the river Spree. It has the best breakfast area and food of all the Hampton Inn, I have stayed in.

I’m happy I chose this hotel for my first visit to Berlin. The staff staff is gracious and helpful. It sits beside a shopping plaza with several restaurants and a mall and the train station is an easy 10 minute walk. It’s directly across the street from the river and the East Side Gallery. They also offer a beautiful breakfast with many delicious options.

I stayed here whilst attending a concert at the Uber Arena. I chose it mainly for its close proximity. Its location is really its main selling point with, not only the Arena being so close but also the Uber Eats Music Hall and many local amenities - restaurants, shopping mall and being a stop for sightseeing tours.
As to the hotel itself, it's modern and clean and well maintained. But the service was not the best.. the reception staff were rather offhand and seemed distracted. The breakfast seemed to deplete rather quickly. Many of the more popular items weren't replaced. And there were no evening meal facilities of course. But my stay was comfortable and convenient. Which is more than other hotels

### Disappointing Service at a Conveniently Located Hotel

The hotel's location between the Berlin Wall and the Uber Arena is convenient. The room was clean and comfortable but lacked room slippers, which were not provided even upon request. The breakfast spread was adequate, but the staff cleared food too quickly, even when it was untouched, leading to unnecessary waste. They claimed we could always take more, which seemed quite wasteful.

Unfortunately, the service and staff attitude were terrible—the worst I have ever encountered. The staff were disinterested, rude, and never smiled. I couldn't help but wonder if this treatment was due to my being Asian. I expected better from a Hilton-branded hotel. Due to this experience, I will not return, especially since there are other options in the area. Such a shame.

I would stay here again. Very quiet in the room. Firm bed but comfortable. Could have done with more tea/coffee/milk. Breakfast choice was good and plentiful. Location by Mercedes Benz arena was ideal for a gig. East side gallery right outside. Bus stops very nearby and a few mins walk to two train stations.

Was a good experience for most part staff was kind and breakfast was excellent. Great location with beautiful view of berlin wall and walking distance of train stations. The plaza and mall next to hotel had excellent food and shopping options. Overall had a great time in berlin and a mostly hassle free hotel. Had some trouble with cleaning staff forgetting to clean after we asked them to comeback later due to some late starts on our part.

This was our second time at the Hampton Inn ESG, and it was every bit as good as the first. Super swift check-in, and contactless check-out.

The rooms, lobby, reception, dining room, and toilets were all spotless.

Great choice of hot and cold breakfast items, with generous breakfast window of 6am-10am.

Less than 10 min walk to either Ostbahnof, or Warschauerstraße for transport links.

Another fabulous stay. If we return to Berlin in the future, we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

+ Great location, very safe, close to shopping center, a lot of restaurants nearby. Near subway

- the shower was bad, all toilet gets wet and full of water after you use shower, small glass door can be change, or make a bath tube at least
- clening staff can do a better job, our room was dirty and full of garbege when we checked in and they gave us another room.
- I thing they just make bed and towels( I hope they do).
- when we arrived. The water outlet in the bathroom was blocked and the water was collecting. We called the reception to come and clean it
- very expensive parking garage with no electric charging possibilities

A thoroughly great stay!

Conveniently located, professional, yet friendly staff, clean, quiet and great breakfast. I would just include a few more vegetarian options such as fried tomatoes, mushrooms and fried eggs.

Staff also volunteered additional info, (not related to the hotel), but because it was useful to know.

The surrounding is a tourist attraction in itself, with the East Side Gallery, proximity to the river and boat cruises, Mercedes Benz Arena, lots of restaurants, a shopping centre and much more.

I would most definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.

This is my 4th trip to Berlin in the past year and first time at Hampton by Hilton at this location. It's the best by far of all the hotels I've stayed in and now will be my preferred location for future visits for business (and non business). Great location right in front of the water and historical view on the wall.

Unfortunately our shower could not be height adjusted as stuck.

Very clean Hotel, with excellent location, near to transport links. All staff were friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of hot and cold items. It would have been nice to have a minibar in the room or at least water provided, but these are more a recommendation rather than a complaint.
We enjoyed our stay here, and would happily revisit.

Likes: Location is good but not that close to the subway. Make sure you don't miss the breakfast as it provides a wide selection and is pretty good. Room size is decent.

Dislikes: Staff were not the friendliest. Hotel mentioned that they would have socket adapters but front desk staff does not have them. Shower strength was quite weak and room does not come with a fridge.

New and clean but small rooms and noisy street

New hotel (1 year old), so very clean and in excellent condition, but the rooms are very very small, there is hardly any storage for clothing at all actually, no real wardrobe, no place to put a suitcase, if you bring two, you can not even open them both on the floor at the same time because there is not enough floor space. No bathrobes. The windows don't open fully so in order to get fresh air, you need to leave the window open all night which is extremely noisy due to the very noisy and busy road.
I love new and immaculate rooms but this hotel does have too many drawbacks to justify another stay. At breakfast you have to get your own cutlery, coffee and napkins, like in a canteen.

It was an okay hotel. Cleaning ladies kept coming in at awkward times though which I didn't like and sometimes there was a weird humming in the room that distracted me in the evening, but the staff was helpful and accommodating in that aspect. Staff had okay-ish English skills but were always ready to help. Great breakfast. Great location close to many interesting places and with great public transport nearby.

Hotel is very new and comfortable. Location was very convenient for a nearby event I was attending, right by river and East Side gallery, in the middle of a newly built area by stadium, but near other interesting neighbourhoods for going out. Easy walk from nearby stations and busy area so felt safe returning here at night time, although room stayed quiet.
Only amenity I missed was a fridge for water. You can buy this at the ground floor bar but there's also a big supermarket nearby.
Would definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

Loved staying at this hotel everyone was very friendly it's located really well half an hour in a taxi is the furthest we had to go alexanderplatz is 10 minutes away by bus the Berlin zoo is 15 minutes by taxi and the Brandenburg gate is 25 minutes by taxi. The hotel is nice and quiet too ,even with a live music event going on downstairs it's still nice and quiet when you want to escape the city. The breakfast was really good as well it had a large selection from cooked to cold, and a very nice bar area in the evening that was always nice and quite to relax in I would seriously recommended staying at this hotel.

I liked the location across the street from a section of the Berlin Wall and adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Local restaurants were excellent and there is a mall within walking distance. Several Hop-on and Hop-off busses were also close. Well placed! the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in the area.

New modern hotel with a fitness room. Easy walk to 2 x train stations and underground. On several bus routes. Opposite parts of the Berlin Wall in particular “East Side Gallery “ not far from riverbank with some bars. Next door to “Mercedes” arena with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Super fast internet. Only German speaking tv channels except the odd news channel.

Hampton by Hilton Berlin City East Side Gallery was a great place to stay. The room was lovely, the service good and we very much enjoyed the quality and selection at the included breakfast.

The location was great too: not only were we right by the East Side Gallery, but we were only about a block away from a main pick-up point for Hop-on Hop-off Tours. In addition, our neighbourhood included several restaurants as well as a mall by the Mercedes Plaza. Very handy!

- Carpet flooring in the room (not sticky or anything, but still a disappointment)
- No minibar/fridge in the room
- Some staff members don't speak English. One receptionist was quite rude when I came back to the hotel to pick up my suitcase a few hours after the checkout. They just dismissed me with a stern face and continued typing on the computer. I had to wait for another, more friendly receptionist to finish their phone call, then I got my suitcase. Not a big problem, but a bit unusual customer service for an otherwise nice hotel - space for improvement.

The front desk always seemed to be understaffed. Did to this there were long waits to get service. The key cards were problematic in that they lost their programming multiple times. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Good location. I wish their customer service was better and it would've been perfect. I would stay here again.
