The lobby area is welcoming, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are bright and spacious. The location is walkable and close to landmarks such as Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. A U-Bahn station is right around the corner. A free beverage voucher was offered for opting out of housekeeping for a day. I tried the breakfast buffet on my last day which had lots of delicious food options.

My guest room was comfortable and clean, although had a faint plumbing/toilet odor upon entry. It was not strong enough to affect my stay, however. The wrong type of coffee pods were provided for the Lor coffee machine (didn't work). Fortunately, the adjoining room where my friends stayed had the proper machine so I could enjoy coffee in the mornings.

Excellent from start to finish!!!

Even when we needed to be moved due to the fact we initally booked rooms with double beds, but ended up with twin beds, there was no aggro, and Jose accomodated us fabulosuly.

Breakfast was top draw too, with a huge selection of hot and cold food on offer.

Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were decent too with the shower deserving of a special mention as that was fab!

All in all, somewhere myself and my group (6 guys in their late 40s) would highly recommend.

Travelling via train from airport really easy. Nice and clean hotel room and public areas. Location good for open top bus and checkpoint Charlie. Breakfast good spread but busy and restaurant too warm. The downside of this hotel is the lack of bars and highly rated restaurants around it.

Great hotel. I felt safe as a solo traveler. Outside of hotel was busy which probably was why I felt safe. I slept fine since noise doesn’t bother me but if you easily wake up I would bring Ear plugs since there can be a lot of traffic noise outside since it’s like a Main Street. Staff were all kind and helpful. Walking distance to a lot of shops, dining and tourist attractions. When I come back to Berlin I will book here again! Thank you again for a great experience.

Great amenities, lovely hotel with a beautiful entrance for Christmas. Breakfast is good and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Fantastic location in city centre. Less than a 20 minute walk to lots of sights, historical sights, the mall and Christmas markets.

There were some downsides. Room had a bit of snagging. Chipped walls, scuffs on ceiling and fridge was broken. Luckily we used the balcony as a fridge as it was so cold (had a baby so needed milk storage!), but not much effort to find a fix which was a shame but fortunately a minor problem.

We extended our stay after our tour for an additional day in Berlin at the same hotel the tour had reserved. In fact, we stayed in the same room we had, which was very convenient. The check-in/extension was effortless.

The location of the hotel was great, close to restaurants, a mall, restaurants, and Vheck Point Charlie. Everything was within easy walking distance.

Our room was excellent. We could not have asked for better. The breakfast buffet was more than complete. It even included champagne and a variety of fruit juices, teas, types of coffee, and hot chocolate. Omelets could be cooked to order, and an automated pancake machine popped out mini hotcakes. Breakfast meats—hot sausages, bacon, curry bratwurst, charcuterie—and lots of cheeses abounded as well as the extremely fresh breads,
rolls, croissants, and hot and cold cereals. Fresh fruit, compote, and various flavors of honey completed the meal.

The breakfast buffet is definitely more than just a quick bite. Skip lunch, for sure!

The concierge was more than helpful in setting us up to navigate the city for our extra day. Most knowledgeable and pleasant!

Yes, our extra day in Berlin was well worth it. Very smooth and effortless check-in, beyond comfortable room, and very welcoming staff. Truly, a visitor’s delight!

A premier hotel perfectly located in Stadtmitte in Berlin. This hotel goes a long way on service and comfort. The front desk staff is first rate and the rooms are very modern and very comfortable. The proximity to the U6 subway is a true bonus.

We had a lovely 6 night stay in the NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie. It is in the perfect location, close to the underground and top tourist sites. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was well equipped with all necessary toiletries. Free WiFi was available throughout the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a great time here and would definitely stay here again.

Hi,

Everything was very nice overall, and I truly appreciated the hospitality. However, I did notice that the gluten-free options at breakfast were quite limited.

Additionally, there were no clear labels indicating which products were lactose-free or gluten free. As dietary needs like gluten and lactose intolerance are not uncommon, it would be wonderful to see a wider variety of gluten-free and lactose-free options, clearly marked, in the future.

The staff didnt speak english very well. They were rude also in all positions The food was horrible and way overpriced. The location wasnt the greatest, dirty and homeless people sleeping outside the hotel. There was a plumbing problem in the shower, water everywhere. Drain was in the center of the shower area and the cap kept coming off leaving a huge 3 inch hole. Told the front desk, someone comes up, didnt understand what the problem was as she didnt speak english. She thought it was funny and motioned to put a towel down. It was never fixed. I had to shower carefully as not to fall from putting my foot in the hole! I will never go back and I recommend never to use this hotel as you will leave unhappy, disapointed and knowing you wasted your money.

This happened again a 2nd time despite having the do not disturb sign on the door. They also tried to charge us for mini bar items which we had not taken.

\"The air conditioning works only when it's summer and we still have winter settings\", which is obviously a choice to save costs. Especially when the room was on the higher floors and it was 26 degrees centigrade outside.

I chose a hotel with air conditioning as one criterion. I was made pay for it. But there was none.

This is a nice hotel in a great location for Berlin. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were huge, and we loved having a terrace. The staff was very helpful and nice. I recommend taking advantage of their bike rentals. Berlin if very bike friendly and you'll be able to see a lot more.

Can’t rate this central Berlin hotel highly enough

I stayed here with my three young sons (aged 10, 8 and 7) on two occasions, three days overall, in Mar 25.

Safe to say this was the boys favourite hotels of their entire 10 day German adventure.

Fantastic spacious room with a big bathroom, beautiful balcony, comfy beds, mini-bar and with a wonderful buffet breakfast and a hotel based treasure hunt activity that resulted in a great little prize for them on their checkout.

The staff were all friendly and exceptionally helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz with Stadmitte and Unter Den Linden stations a stone throw away which meant getting anywhere in the city was painless… even with three young boys in tow.

We will most certainly be back!

The hotel is fine, it was conveniently located for my needs, the rooms are ok, nothing amazing but absolutely fine. The bathroom had a strange smell from the drains and wasn’t sparkling clean. I opted not to have my room cleaned for the two nights I stayed, I was supposed to receive a voucher for the bar but that never materialised. I didn’t have breakfast but a colleague did and there seemed to be a good selection with the option of cooked items.

Great hotel in the centre of Berlin recommended to me by a friend. The location is great to explore most of the landmarks.
The rooms were clean and spacious and free drinks are offered in lieu of housekeeping which we found useful and green as we were only there three nights so didn't really need housekeeping.
Reception were very helpful and we asked for slippers which were brought to our room.
The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day so we didn't need to eat till dinner in the evening.

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff and an easy check-in process. After checking in we went to our room and were pleasantly surprised to find it had been decorated with a Christmas theme, a Christmas bow on the door, a tree with baubles and lights in the room, Christmas rugs, fairy lights around the windows and wall transfers, which all added to the seasonal cheer. After about an hour staff attended our room to check everything was to our liking and delivered some small Christmas gifts of chocolates, sweets and a personalised welcome note. This was all unexpected, but gratefully received and enjoyed.

The room was comfortable and well appointed with all the facilities we needed.

We were pleased with our stay at this NH hotel and would definitely book again in future.

Hotel is conveniently located with good transport links.. have stayed here many times and not been disappointed.Breakfast is usually good and room service was timely and welcome.. staff polite and helpful. Although more people on the front desk to check in and out would be better.

Only two neg points - there appears to be a bit of a strong sulphurous whiff about the place, also when taps are used, but you soon get used to it..
Im not a big fan on being knocked up early morning on the day of departure.. I'm an adult and can get myself out of bed.. check out is at 12:00 very clear on the booking details. I was gone by 11:00

Centrally located. Around the corner from a station and across the road from a bus stop to visit other parts of the city if not going by foot.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant at breakfast was plentiful with a good selection.

Communal areas were modern and clean although tired in some parts eg dirty carpet, paint chipped etc.

Gym is small and basic but enough to start the day.

Room is large, clean with some toiletries. Our room faced the street which didn’t bother us too much, but windows could’ve been sealed better to prevent sound. Air con in room rattled periodically.

Would recommend for a short city break.

I had a bit of an issue at checkin but this was resolved eventually. The room itself had a sewer smell from the bathroom. You noticed when you used the sink and toilet but I had already unpacked so kept the door shut. In the morning when I took a shower I noticed there were no Body towels and had to use one of the two hand towels to dry off. When i went to throw away a wrapper and lifted the trash lid THERE WAS TRASH still in the can! Toilet papers and sack still there. That was the last ding and I decided to tell the front desk. They apologized for the trash and towels and said they would inform the staff. As for the smell that was just terrible if left door open, they said it was caused by old plumbing as the building was older...so that turns me off from stsying here again if the same issue will be there. I also heard a woman next to me at counter complaining about the water so not just in my room.

The outlook from the room as I requested a nice view of the area/city. The room was quite stuffy and warm, there was a charged mini bar but no complimentary water for a 4 star hotel and WiFi kept on logging out. Hotel staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming, they’re very formal.

Great hotel right in the middle of everything. A couple blocks from Checkpoint Charlie. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. Hotel was clean, parking available underneath. We were glad we stayed here and would do so again.
