Clean and basic bit has everything you need. Breakfast also basic. Hot sausages and scrambled eggs and cold choices of cereal, yogurt or hams and cheese. Room clean and neat like a hospital rather than hotel room but the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and Potsdamer Platz, check point Charlie and Brandenburg Gate. Would use again as the price was good too.

Told us no breakfast rafter than mo breakfast in your package. Told us to go to Novotel.
No blanket on bed and only 2 soft pillows for 2 people!
Had to plead with front desk for a blanket that was for a single bed not double and two extra pillows
Thank heavens for the cleaner who gave us a second blanket for 2nd night!

Staff were courteous and daily housekeeping - like a hostel with your own bathroom. I stayed for 7 nights but only had breakfast once - not a big eater. Food choices were typical. Plenty of good cafes in walking distance every direction. Bed was comfy and lots of clean towels - great place to stay if only looking for a bed and/or breakfast.

I was impressed by both the value and the service provided at this budget hotel. Martin checked us in and was friendly and hospitable even though we arrived so late. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants, cafes, and metros nearby. Will definitely book the Ibis Budget Potsdamer Platz when I return to Berlin!

Good stuff: breakfast was quite good, room was clean and staff were mostly helpful
Not so good: air con didn't really do anything and our room was directly above the bins which was extremely noisy from time to time. There was not much privacy for bathroom facilities.

I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

This would have been a higher rating except I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I paid quite a bit for this room so I think padding that felt like it was an inch thick was unfair. It would take a 1 night booking to put in a real mattress. I saw bad reviews on the hard bed but I thought they were picky - they weren’t - it was horrible. I would have canceled the 2nd night if I hadn’t gone through Expedia. I couldn’t even sightsee the next day because my back hurt so bad. People stay for the purpose of sleeping - the most important thing is a mattress - you don’t have to spend a lot money to get a mattress - this was more like padding.

Placement of bathroom, sink and shower were located separately, which was inconvenient. Shower was near impossible to get the correct temperature (it was either cold as ice or hot as fire). Water pressure wasn’t great either. There could also be more choices at the breakfast, but it was complementary.
If you are there just to sleep, it’s still fair for the price and public transportation is just around the corner

Also das Zimmer war gut aber 1. Das Bad ist nicht so gut die Fliesen in der Dusche bzw die fugen sind schimmellich und der duschschlauch tropft und das Wasser lässt sich schlecht regulieren.2. Das Fenster lässt sich schlecht öffnen.der Fernseher ist auch schlecht zu bedienen.aber es gibt auch gutes das Personal ist top und das frühstücksbüffee ist auch sehr gut.die Preise vom Snäckautomat sind ganz schön heftig.das parken sollte eigendlich mit im Preis vom Zimmer dabei sein.

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Bett sehr unbequem Bettdecke Laken und dünne Decke.

Einchecken durch einen sehr unfreundlichen Angestellten.
Frühstück das Geld nicht wert, Schinken zusammengeklebt, Käse und Wurst naja, Rührei unterirdisch. Kaffe brennt Löcher in den Magen.
Garage gut aber teuer.
Werde um diese Hotel ein Bogen machen.

Bom e bem localizado

Hotel bem localizado, atendimento excelente das recepcionistas Cecile e Antonela e dos demais. O quarto é limpo e pequeno. Mobilia simples, arara para guardar roupas e sem mobília nenhuma, so a cama, uma mesa pequena e uma banqueta. O box é fechado por uma cortina de plástico. Embora escasso, tudo funciona bem: o chuveiro é orimo, aquecimento ou ar condicionado funcionando bem. Para ficar poucos dias funciona, mas uma estadia longa pode comprometer o bem estar. Uma sugestão seria tirar a quantidade de luminosidade dos interruptores, principalmente o que ha na cabeceira da cama.

Das Hotel war von der Lage super. Leider ist die Einrichtung nicht besonders neu und hat viele Macken.
Leider komplett versagt haben Sie bei einer Nacht: Anscheinend hat ein Mitarbeiter seine Raucherpause bei mir im Zimmer gemacht. Ich kam abends in ein Zimmer voller Rauchgeruch zurück. Es hat eine Stunde gedauert mit offenem Fenster und ständigem Wedeln des Handtuchs bis man sich einigermaßen im Zimmer aufhalten konnte. Die Abendschicht an der Rezeption hat nur hilflos mit den Schultern gezuckt. Auf die Email, die ich schreiben sollte, hat niemand geantwortet. Als ich das Thema beim Checkouts nochmal angesprochen habe, wurde mir frech gesagt, dass das ja eine heftige Anschuldigung sei und ob ich denn Beweise hätte. Beim Hinweis auf die Mitarbeiterin und meine Email wurde wieder mit den Schultern gezuckt. Nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Also beim Customer Service einmal komplett durchgefallen. So kann man sich auch die Kunden vergraulen.

Für ein Low Budget Hotel völlig in Ordnung

Wir waren zum Marathon Wochenende dort. Für das was wir bezahlt haben (200€) pro Nacht u Zimmer, waren wir zufrieden. Es war sauber, das Zimmer im 6. Stock im Hinterhof sehr ruhig. Die Betten ok. Man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten, es ist alles minimalistisch eingerichtet aber für unsere 4 Tage völlig ok. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt aber für 11,50€ ist die Auswahl echt gut man kriegt auch nur einen Kaffee für 2€
Die Location ist perfekt, von hier kommt man überall in kürzester Zeit mit S-Bahn hin oder auch zu Fuß zum Brandenburger Tor ist es nicht weit. Es gibt ein paar gute Restaurants um die Ecke, eine tolle sky Bar gleich hinter dem Hotel, von da hat man einen tollen Ausblick. Die Gegend ist sehr sauber und sicher.
