Our room had a musty smell and the hallway constantly reeked of cigarettes. Shower drain was clogged so you have to be superrr fast. Bathroom door doesn’t close without fiddling with it. Mini fridge did not keep food cold and had a broken handle. Amenities are misleading/untrue if you book on Expedia.

This hotel is good value and in a great location for exploring the sights in the centre of Berlin as it’s walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie and Potsdamer Platz. It’s quiet as the road is not too busy and has a supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Good hotel, very clean and modern - excellent VFM. Safe available in room at no additional charge. Approx 10mins stroll to Potsdamer Platz or Checkpoint Charlie. Closest U Bahn stop Hallesches Tor is 5 mins walk away. Bag storage available if required once checked out. A few bistro's, coffee shops and eateries nearby but plenty of choice in Berlin overall. Staff friendly. On the downside, no tea or coffee facilities in the room and breakfast was pricey (I'm sure they said 18.90 euro's per person) but plenty cheaper options available outside the hotel. Would stay here again.

The building is new, clean and the appliances all very nice and comfortable. The staff are all very polite and helpful and you couldn’t expect any more from them.

The check-in was very straightforward and quick. In order to save resources, they ask you to hang a sign at the door if you want the room cleaned. Even though I didn’t hang this sign a single day, they would still make up my room, which was nice.

A very good hotel, comfortable, clean, with polite staff and amazing breakfast. We totally recommend it if you want to visit Berlin. Two minor issues were the internet speed that was limited unless you use the paid plan, and the absence of water bottles in the vending machine. Apart from this, the hotel is perfect. I had cleared with the front desk two weeks prior that our room would accommodate three adults (two queen beds), but we were given two twin beds and little room for a foldaway bed. They grudgingly agreed to let us have a foldaway bed, which we squeezed in somehow.

Modern, very clean and comfortable bed. nice touches such as lighting control and good sized TV. great bathroom but shower pressure was a bit on the low side. For some reason key card timed out/stopped working every day and had to repeatedly return to reception to have re-enabled. Front desk staff were helpful enough but rather officious and could have been warmer :)

This hotel was great with modern, clean rooms and everything you would expect including a safe and air conditioning. Breakfast was high quality and it was great to be able to sit in a garden terrace in the morning. The location, near Kreuzberg, is great - only a short distance from Checkpoint Charlie with Potzdamer Platz only a little further out.

The property I booked was over booked and I was relocated at the last moment and without prior warning to a sister hotel 3 miles out of town. The sister hotel was apparently if a higher standard though the location was not good for the sights. It was clean

Good Hotel But Do Not Reserve Through Expedi
The experience of reserving this hotel was unpleasant because I used Expedia rather than the hotel website. Expedia had inconsistent pricing between the offer page (lower) and the reservation completion page (higher) and their customer support refused to rectify the situation. Beware. The hotel's website is straightforward. Apart from that check-in, the stay and check-out were fully satisfactory.

A reasonable stay (some areas for improvement)
I arrived on the Sunday 8th October and was impressed with the late afternoon reception who was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was generally pleasant and airy and the bathroom clean. That night I discovered the pillow were terribly soft and uncomfortable. Upon my request these replaced the next day for my last night. For a 4 star hotel the breakfast is a bit \"thin\" to give an example the egg choice in very limited. Overall a reasonable and safe stay in a well positioned hotel. I recommend that the pillow policy of the hotel be reviewed since this can make a very big difference to a customer.

Great staff, clean hotel rooms, and great complimentary breakfast! I would certainly stay for my next visit. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner does not really make the room cool at all, and we had to open windows all night because it was cooler outside than inside the room.

The hotel itself is fine. However the amenities are pretty much next to none. No room service or restaurant just a tiny and usually empty bar run by the reception staff. The rooms are clean and of a good size but with zero personality. I would recomend this for business travelers only. Anyone else will be disaponted. The high speed internet is not included in the room price, when we requested it as an add on the staff said don't bother as its not fast enough to make it worth it.

Stayed a few nights here for business as it was pretty close to a venue called \"the Station\". Clean hotel, but the twin single beds are small. Not quite like the two queen beds they've got at the Marriott. Location wise it's about 15 min leisurely walk from Potsdamer platz. Breakfast was quite nice for 13/14€. Expensive but filling.

Great hotel located very central to a lot of the sights. The room was clean and comfortable and the big bed allowed for a full nights sleep without inturruption. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.

Good rooms, great staff, & great location
A short walk from Potsdamer Platz and a handful of U and S-bahn stations, and with a Netto and Lidl right outside the front door for anything you might need, this hotel is both well-fitted and well-placed. Potsdamer Platz's Mall of Berlin has a huge food court that is full of surprisingly good food at rock-bottom prices (I have never had a genuinely great duck wrap as long as my arm for so little money before), and many of the best places in the city are just a couple of stops away on the underground. We actually walked from the hotel to Museum Island, but alternatively you could just hop on a train.
I would say that because of the location of the hotel we actually didn't get the Berlin WelcomeCard, because we walked so much that it was cheaper to just pay for individual subway fares. We were only in the city for four days though - any longer and I think the WelcomeCard would have been a good option.

First, the hotel is located just minutes from the Potsdamer Platz which is tourist central but well connected to public transportation. There is a bus stop just a block away which makes getting around easy. There are several museums within a 10 minute walk which also makes the location ideal.
The room was clean and pretty big. The pillows were thin as paper. I think I used all four just to get a regular pillow. The ac worked well but like many newer set ups, you have to use your room key for power which means it takes some time to cool down.

Spent five days seeing the sights of Berlin. Hotel was convenient for Potzdamer Platz. There were two supermarkets near for buying bottled water and fruit. Only problem during our stay was the train from the airport. The RB14 to Nauen didn't go through Friedrichstrasse so we ended up in Spandau and had to catch a train back.

This hotel is modern with comfortable beds snd very modern , well equipped bathrooms. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a wide range if chiices and not too expensive. Very near to an S-bahn station for getting around town. I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

Beautiful, new and clean! Location is close to most sites and cabs are frequent. It's also a 5-10 minute walk to the S or U trains. Breakfast available on site, although a little pricey at $15/person. Customer service was great!

On the plus side, the receptionist was great, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was comfortable.
However, the TV was WAY too small, and the breakfast was too expensive.
But the most unfortunate thing was that the bottle of water beside the bed did not indicate anything about not being complementary, and that felt really bad finding that our in the check out. Just say it's not for free, and I would not feel like I've been fooled.

Good, but could use improvement
Breakfast was great., the hotel staff was wonderful, and the rooms stylish, but not very clean. Also, bathroom doors are frosted glass, offering virtually no privacy if you're sharing a room. Internet connection is unacceptably bad for a major hotel in a metropolitan area. The location itself is dead—despite its name, this hotel is NOT on or really even near the Potsdamer Platz, so expect a long walk to bars, restaurants or much of anything else.

The hotel room was comfortable, and the furnishings were updated. The in-hotel breakfast was a little pricey, but you can go to Potsdamer Platz for nice coffee and pastries. The location didn't offer many places for dinner within a short walking distance. After a day of 20 miles of urban hiking, I really would have liked to be able to wash up, change shoes and walk a few blocks to food choices.

I stayed NH chain several times. And when I decided to visit Berlin I searched directly NH holels in Berlin and chose NHPotsdamer Platz. Location was close to eather U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Room was excellent and clean. Breakfast was also excellent. Staff is lovely...

Good location and clean. We simply got snake bit on this stay. Arrived at check-in time (3PM) and room was not ready for another 30 minutes. The room AC did not work (it was warm). The WiFi worked everywhere but our room and they did not seem to care. Upon leaving, the below ground parking garage door would not open causing a 2 hour delay to our departure which cause cascading issues with our already tight trip itinerary. No offer to refund the 15 EU parking charge. We were not happy...

Great Hotel and helpful staff! Extremely pleased with out stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Berlin. The rooms were modern and clean and the location was fantastic. Grocery stores are with-in a 5 minute walk and you're 10 minutes away from great street food, cafe's, and bars.

We were looking for a hotel near to the sites in Berlin, or at least near to public transport. This hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from the subway and through a rather sketchy neighborhood.
The room was small, but workable. The bathroom was great. But the room was so hot!! The AC didn't function and having the window open meant a lot of noise from the bars on the street. The bed was horribly uncomfortable.
Breakfast was good and the staff were polite. But this hotel was definitely not worth the money or the walk.

Good option in Berlin
Located 2 bus stops from Postdamer Platz (not by the square as the name would make you think), close to Jwiss Museum and checkpoint Charly, makes a very good choice in Berlin. Has very good communication by train, underground and bus.
