Was looking for pet friendly on the beach for a long weekend on the Cape. I hadn’t been to SeaCrest in over a decade. Property was in great shape and looked like it was recently renovated. Fireplace studio was great with a view of Old Silver Beach. Beach service was quick and efficient. There were several events on the property and noise was never an issue. Meals were great. I wish the pizza place was open!

Par contre l’extérieur est magnifique belle chaise confortable à l’extérieur dans le sable blanc. L’hôtel a aussi des chaises longues avec parasol sur la plage. Serviettes disponibles en tout temps. Nous avons eu notre chambre à 16h45 ( très tard) . Très bon restaurant avec vue sur le soleil qui se couche dans la mer .

Lovely property on the beach which was fantastic and why we choose to visit
Staff was very courteous and professional.
The toilet seats in our one bedroom suite were old and stained. They can easily be replaced. The light fixture in one bathroom was falling apart also an easy fix that won't cost much.
I had a problem which was not the fault of anyone on the property. It was caused by a third party but, the manager listened to me respectfully, was empathetic, explained what happened and how to avoid it in the future. He waived our resort fees for our stay and offered us free breakfast. I was very impressed by him.

We had an okay stay overall. The rooms were clean, and the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately, one day during our visit the property lost power from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., which was inconvenient.
We stayed after Memorial Day and were disappointed to find that some of the advertised amenities, including the pizza and ice cream shops, were closed. Additionally, the indoor pool was not very enjoyable, as the water temperature was around 85 degrees and felt too warm to be refreshing.
While there were some positives, the unavailable amenities and power outage impacted our overall experience.

The beach is amazing. The woman who works at the restaurant during breakfast was wonderful! Those were the only positives. We were staying there for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Check-in is at 4. We got there at 3:40 to check in & room wasn’t ready. There were lots of people standing around, obviously waiting for their rooms too. 4 came & went. We had to change & get ready for the rehearsal & dinner. They told us we could get ready in the pool bathrooms. Um, no, generally that would be OK but nor for a wedding rehearsal, with wet floors, my dress was long. Long story short I got a call @ 7 pm the room was ready. When we got back to the hotel tons of people were standing around complaining & looking for management. The hallways were dirty. The floors were sandy from the moment we walked in the doors, we hadn’t been to the beach. Husband spoke to the manager & we got $50 taken off per night & free breakfast.
Growing up nearby The Seacrest always was known as a high end place to stay with unbelievable service & quality unfortunately NOT anymore. They are on their 2nd new ownership in a few years. They should really be a 3 star hotel now we WAY lower room rates. Only way they get away with it is being right on the beach.

We were a group of 7 travelling together, with two 3-year-old toddlers and a newborn. We got to the resort at 5PM, rooms weren't ready. They simply told us to come back later. After dinner, rooms still were not ready. They ended up being ready at 10PM!! After going to front desk to speak with the manager twice, they only offered a \"sorry\", no compensation or apology measure. This is simply unacceptable. Terrible service considering we had three children to put down to bed. I would most definitely NOT recommend this hotel for the lack of service the staff had towards customers.

We recently stayed at the Sea Crest in Falmouth and overall had a nice experience. The biggest downside was check-in. Our room wasn't ready until much later than expected, and we didn't receive a text that it was available until 6:15 PM. Many guests appeared frustrated, and the staff seemed stressed as they handled numerous complaints about the delayed check-in process.

That said, we were able to use the pools and other amenities while we waited, which helped make the delay more manageable. Our room was clean, a good size, and had very comfortable bedding. The indoor and outdoor pools were well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. We also had a great time listening to a live band on the outdoor deck.

The private beach was clean and had plenty of loungers available for guests. Food and drink prices at the bar and restaurant were a bit inflated, but it was very convenient to have everything right on-site.

Despite the check-in issues, the amenities, beach, pools, and comfortable accommodations made for an enjoyable stay.

The biggest highlight of our stay was the beachfront location. Being able to open the room door and walk directly onto the beach was wonderful and definitely the best feature of the property.

That said, our overall experience was underwhelming, especially considering the room rate was nearly $800 per night. The room appeared worn and in need of maintenance, with broken drawer knobs, chipped paint, a missing light bulb, and visible spills or stains on the sides of furniture that had not been cleaned. We also experienced intermittent Wi-Fi outages during our stay.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised amenities, including an ice cream shop, pizza place, and convenience store/coffee shop. However, the pizza restaurant was not yet open and apparently won’t open until July, which was not disclosed anywhere when booking. In addition, the ice cream shop and convenience store/coffee shop were never open during their posted operating hours while we were there, making these advertised amenities essentially unavailable.

Given the beachfront setting and pool area, it would also be a nice improvement to offer table service by the pool, which would enhance the guest experience.

The property has a fantastic location and a lot of potential, but for the price being charged, we expected better maintenance, cleaner accommodations, more reliable amenities, and clearer communication about what was actually available during our stay.

Resort overall was scenic and the beach was very good. Unfortunately checkin was less than acceptable. Check in was 4pm, didnt get room til 6:30 and there were still many people waiting for their room to be cleaned. To be fair the mgr on duty did waive the resort fee, when prompted. Observed same issue all 3 days we were there.

Unfortunately I we had a terrible stay. Check in was at 4 but they had a bunch of us waiting for up to an hour after 4 for a room. On top of that their lobby was hot. Then when we finally got a room it was not cleaned properly. There was a nasty hairball stuck in the shower drain. Over priced and the staff is terribly trained . Never again

We arrived on Saturday which was a beautiful sunny 80 degree day around 1pm hoping we might be able to check in early at say 2 or 3pm. No rooms were ready for early check in, no big deal. We went to get lunch near the pool. A cheeseburger and a small pizza took close to an hour. At 4pm we were expecting a text message to alert us that our room was ready, but nothing. We went to the front desk at 4:30, they had not even started cleaning our room they said due to being short staffed. The woman at the desk said it was her 3rd day working for the Seacrest. By 5:30pm I approached the front desk and said we will take any room that’s ready instead of ours and asked to talk to a manager, he had only been there 3 weeks. Other people checked in and got their room, we continued to wait. By 6pm we finally got our room but the transaction to use my debit card for incidentals did not go through as their system was having issues. We left the front desk and went to the room. I found a small used condom wrapper in the corner near my bed, the room had obviously not been cleaned appropriately. I am empathetic to being short staffed, but to have brand new prop at the front desk, as managers and be short staffed is complete mismanagement. This is not a cheap hotel. One of the worst hotel experiences I have had unfortunately.

My main complaint is check-in. We arrived at the resort at 3:00 pm. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. We did not get a room assignment until 5:30 pm; others didn't get rooms until 8:00 pm. This appeared to be an issue on this weekend. The part that really bothered me was that no one working behind the desk was apologetic or explained the delay. They just kept saying, \"No, your room is not ready.\"
I also explained when we arrived, we had an 87-year-old woman who had a hard time going up the stairs. I did not realize the resort had several buildings, and that only one had an elevator. The first person we spoke to upon arrival at 3:00 pm said they would try to help us out. Not all rooms were assigned at this point. When we got our room assignment at 5:30 pm, it was clear no one had even considered this. We were assigned a room on the second floor in the building furthest away from the main area. No problem for most, but it was for my 87-year-old mother. I did get them to switch the room to the main building. Due to this change, we did not have a patio with our room as we had paid for. I understand that the issue with my mother's limitations was not entirely the resort's fault, although I found their indifference to it disappointing. The room was okay, but in need of some repairs. The best thing I can say about the resort is that the location is great. The beach and pool areas are very nice. Also, the fries at the restaurant are good.

Was told they would try to accommodate our early check in for 2:00 instead of 4:00, they couldn't which was fine but somehow the room wasnt ready until 7:30 p.m. I was told they would call me when it was ready and they never did, I called them... My 5 and 2 year old should have been getting ready for bed. When we got to the room it was filthy and I calles them back 2 times and ended up cleaning the room myself. Dead and live bugs everywhere, hair in the bed, sticky brown liquid in the fridge. On top of that the fridge is broken and I told them when I booked in February I need to refrigerate baby formula. Also no microwave after 2 phone calas to the front desk. Had to call the desk 3 times because of the room not being clean, which never ended up happening anyway. Waited 45 minutes to sit and they were leas than half full. Kids juice took 20 minutes and bread came out with the food so they were super crabby. The beach is nice but that's no reflection on the hotel.

The beachfront view is beautiful, and the hotel’s common areas, including the lobby, gift shop, and restaurant, are all very pleasant and well maintained.

However, there were several aspects of my stay that were disappointing. The check-in process was delayed by nearly three hours, which significantly impacted the start of our visit. While I understand that staffing challenges can occur, the wait was much longer than expected. It appeared that the hotel was short on housekeeping staff that day, as quite an few other guests were also waiting for their rooms to be ready.

The room itself was comfortable, but it did not quite meet the level of quality I would expect from a resort property. The elevator was not particularly clean, the coffee machine in my room was not working, and the hair dryer was quite old and had visible cracks. It still functioned, but it felt as though it could stop working at any time.

That said, the staff members were friendly, professional, and clearly doing their best to manage a difficult situation. I appreciate their efforts and positive attitude despite the staffing shortages. With better maintenance and improved operational readiness, this hotel could provide a much stronger guest experience.

The beach the pool and the facilities were all you need to have a great trip ,and the proximity to the town of Falmouth with all the shopping and restaurants was only 13 minutes away.Had a unexpected great time.The rooms were clean and nice.The sunsets were the best I've ever seen.

When we first pulled up & registered we were very impressed - the lobby was nicely situated & the beach area was simply gorgeous. But . . . No one mentioned no elevators. Since my husband is disabled, we couldn’t take our beachfront room with balcony. he couldn’t do all those stairs. The staff put us in a room in the main building way back where the carpets are old & stained; the elevators dirty; & we had a partial ocean view - and much more of the roof. We were up most of the night listening to our neighbors having a very good time - walls are paper thin. My husband also slipped & fell in the shower / tub & we had to call 911 for assistance. The staff told him to “just use a towel for the bottom of the tub”. No mat or anti-slip grips in the shower & none offered. The building is poorly maintained with leaks evident on the ceilings. The restaurant was good - nice service, good food, very loud. Beautiful ocean view. This resort puts on a very good facade - when you pull up - Wow! But don’t be deceived by that! For the amount being charged per night, we expected more.

Check in was chaotic. I’m the staff called the room phone at 11:05pm stating they needed me to come back to the front desk for additional information. I asked the manager why they would call and wake me and my young child up past 11 pm for a reservation that had been paid for weeks in advance. They don’t tell you there are additional fees to use the beach / pool. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and many guests had barking dogs. Certainly not worth the price. The staff was inattentive, unfriendly and like common courtesy.

The main building was beautiful, clean and well kept.
Our room had dirty sheets, and the shower backed up. The beds were tiny! I called prior to booking the trip to confirm all amenities would be open, the front desk said they would be. The ice cream shop was not open, and the pizza place was open part time. The restaurant food was delicious and the beach was amazing. I probably would not pay the price I did again for our room.

Nothing was open this weekend at the hotel and it was Memorial Day weekend. The ice cream store, pizza store, checking in took a lot of time as I did a room upgrade and checking out was worse. Computers were not working correct o got charged 4 times for room upgrade. Wouldn’t stay again!

Clean room. Room view (barely) of ocean. Looks at the top of a roof (ugly). windows and treatments are dated. Heated pools. Great 1 ft water pool for potty trained kids! Some sand on bottom. Has elevators but had to drag luggage up some steps, a few places.

Went the weekend before Memorial Day and I would have expected the hotel to be in full swing and ready for the summer. Instead there was quite a bit of construction going on and about half of the shops/restaurants. We were told that they were still cleaning our room .
The room was finally ready at 8:00 PM.
W e had to change our dinner plans due to this.
The staff did not seem to care much , they made it sound like it was out of their hands.
There were other people like us that had to wait for their room to be clean.

Upon there were some mistakes with check in - they owned up to the debacle, the staff corrected and made sure our weekend experience at the sea crest resort was memorable.

What I would say is that there is a trend on placing your stay with 3rd party guest on
And getting the low quality of rooms available
Not with this resort but others as well

Had an oceanfront room in building 2. Room was cozy and coastal, very clean. View from the balcony was perfect from second floor with a privacy divider. This was my first solo trip since becoming a mom. Old silver beach was absolutely gorgeous and I saw the best sunset of my life here. I can’t express the gratitude I have for seacrest and staff.

After reading some terrible reviews, I was initially worried but my stay ended up being great. I had an ocean front king room with a balcony, full ocean view. The room was clean with minor signs of wear and tear. The indoor pool and hot tub were open, even in April and it was nice to have options for food on site. I enjoyed this as a quiet getaway in April. Not sure what the other rooms are like and what the vibe is like during the busy season.

Horrible - WAYYYYY under staffed - drove up from Maryland for a nice vacation with my wife, 10 month old and 3 year old - we left our house at 2am and showed up around 11am - asked for early check in? No? No problem, we get it so we hung out until 4pm like everyone else, 4pm - no room, no update 5pm - no room no update - 6pm no room no update - waived a $25 fee for my inconvenience? Cancelled our reservation. Was charged $700 - I won’t have a refund for 7-10 business days

Just was a overall terrible experience, being our first time and no help or care from the staff - definitely wouldn’t recommend, this Under Staffed for the “off season” couldn’t imagine being peak season

You are paying for the beach view. Hotel was not clean. Cleaner never came to my room and called twice. Hall ways had sand dust and filth and never cleaned it. Towels on beach a day later. Sheers in bed were dirty snd had to call to get them changed on first night. Most places in hotel were not open which was not disclosed during booking.

Front is under construction. Had to wait 2 hours to get our room, apparently they were waiting on confirmation that that the room was set. About 15 people waiting for 2 hours to get their room. Resort fee was charged although the only thing available was the pool. Shady character seen hanging by elevators on different floors. We had two rooms, my daughter’s room was next to a room with “swingers” in full force until 3:30 am.

the restaurant on the property was not open. no elevator to my room. i had to walk up a flight of rickety run down dirty stairs. the room had sand all over the floor. condition of the room was old and needed an upgrade. when asked for a late check out i was offered to stay until 1pm for a $150 extra. was charged a $50 resort fee off season, insane price.

We booked a getaway after Thanksgiving and left our grown kids at home never expecting the entire resort to be overrun with hockey families attending a jamboree.

We tried for an early check in at 2:30pm but unfortunately could not get our room until after 5:00pm. We were told to go enjoy a drink and food at the Lantern. We tried but there was no one to wait on us. The bartender and one waiter were so overwhelmed with the hockey families. My husband finally went to the kitchen and asked for an app and drinks. We were served 45 minutes later. Kids were laying all over the furniture, running around everyone's table and ran in and out to the pool area, the halls, the lobby, the firepit. The resort finally sent out a text saying this would not be tolerated. It only made it worst. We tried to have dinner at the Lantern again but ended up leaving. Parking, none for us at our building because yes, the hockey families took those. Then the cars had to leave for the hockey jamboree at 5:30am so no sleeping in. Beep, beep! I sent in my first complaint to a hotel and I've yet to hear back.

We've been here many time and know it is a family resort and we expect some loudness. We enjoy that! Sea Crest is tired and extremely understaffed. I do want to point out that every employee, even though they were so overwhelmed, tried so hard to be patient. The rooms were very clean and tidy and beds were comfortable and our room was cleaned daily which was appreciated!

The room was large and clean, which was a plus and the bed was comfortable. But...the room was dated and a bit shabby. Peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom; shower control was warped and wobbly; the toilet roll was placed in an inaccessible location; one of the white sheer curtains for the outside window was ripped/torn; and we had awful view out the window of the roof and venting system. Also there was an elevator to our floor, but to access our wing, you had to walk up a handful of stairs (perhaps a problem for others; we were not told about that in advance); doors slammed upon closing...very loud! Not in a hurry to go back!

Clean room,shower leaked on to the floor, shower was not clean and bathroom floor was dirty. View was decent, the beach was beautiful, ice machine didn’t work. No security locks into our building.

We love the location and beach access but the hotel needs a serious make over. Every year, the fees go up and the condition of the property goes down. This year, they ran out of beach towels before noon. Staff is super nice, however.

You’re paying for the view

Sea Crest is expensive. $50/day resort fee that includes nothing except I guess parking and internet, two items today that should be included. The rooms are clean but cozy not spacious. You are paying for the view. Great view but $500 per day view (with taxes and fees), not so sure. This place can be crowded, weddings, conferences, making relaxation at the pool/beach less relaxing. Sometimes the other food venues are closed or have irregular openings.
It is apparent they want you to purchase and consume all food at their restaurant ( no microwave in rooms) and other dining options are at least 2 miles away. Privacy between balconies is minimal or nonexistent. You could stay at other places with more nearby conveniences and go to Old Silver Beach, adjacent to the resort for a parking fee far less than the daily resort fee. In February I went with my wife to a Riu all inclusive ocean front resort for a week in Cabo. We paid less in Cabo than a week at Sea Crest. No comparison in service or amenities. Needless to say we will not return to SeaCrest which is a shame as we vacation in Cape Cod annually for a week or up to a month. We will return to one of the wonderful options we have previously enjoyed.

Our room was where we could see the ocean even though it wasn’t an oceanfront room. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We tried the restaurant and food was good.

The room doors slam really hard and I can hear them all night long when people go in and out of the rooms.
The quality of the room is very pretty but very poor quality.
I like the indoor and the heated outdoor pool.

My husband and I choose this hotel to celebrate our 20th years anniversary. The hotel offers an indoor and outdoor pools and the location right on the beach is what brought us there. The hotel is VERY worn out and a lack of clean. The carpet in the hallway seems very duty and it’s smell. Our room also was smelling funny. We arrived before the check in time and we were told our room was ready. We were very happy but when we got to the room with our luggage, it was not clean. The trash can was filled with the trash/ food from the previous guest. The bathroom had trash too and it was not clean. We were very disappointed. I also think the hotel could do better for a guest who chooses to stay at the property for a big celebration. We have stayed in a hotel in Maine for our anniversary and was surprised with an upgrade, bottle of champagne and chocolate w/ strawberry. It was very thoughtful.

Gorgeous hidden gem

Beautiful hotel and resort located right on their own beach. Great pool, beautiful scenery. Great for a couple or family stay with all the amenities that you would want including on site restaurant, outdoor bar, 2 pools, and an arcade.

I only complaint about the property is that they advertised that the restaurants would be open and only one of them was. The coffee shop the pizza shop we’re not open for breakfast or lunch. Only the large expensive restaurant was open. If they had updated their website, we could’ve made better plans for our meals. It left us scrambling trying to figure out where to get breakfast. Other than that, we really loved our stay.

It was a beautiful location, however the pool and outdoor area does not have any shade. A few umbrellas around. I think perhaps some trees or awnings all around the pool would be nice and would make things more comfortable for people.

The bed was too low with only a base; it did not have a box spring so it was a little difficult to get in and out of.

The resort is nice however if you are staying without your own vehicle beware that you are in a remote area with limited transport.
This was a pleasant trip to say the least however spending upwards of forty dollars one way to get to the ferry terminal outgrew its welcome very soon.
The resort is nice and very well upkept but needs transportation services via a shuttle to the woods hole ferry terminal.
