The room was tastefully furnished and clean. The hotel balcony overlooked the harbor and got morning sun: I had my morning coffee there. Staff respected my wish to not be disturbed during my 4-day stay but were present when I needed them. Water was hot and abundant. Hotel wifi was glitch-less and fast enough for my needs. Ferries to the mainland were within easy walking distance from the hotel, even with luggage (and taxis are readily available if you prefer to ride). Also within walking distance is a supermarket, an art theatre and plenty of restaurants (but no bars because Tisbury is a dry town). Local transit buses pass in front of the hotel and connect to all Island points (including to bars in nearby Oak Bluffs).

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, and the ferry is just a short walk. My only critique is that the bathroom window has no shade or frosted glass, so people walking down the sidewalk or driving by can see right in.

We stayed here for an overnight and were pleasantly surprised by this motel. It is a basic accommodation, but very clean with a comfortable bed free coffee, great location and very reasonably priced. We will certainly stay here again in the future. Highly recommend it for the price!

The room was reasonable size, but the bathroom was quite tiny. The door didn’t open all the way due to hitting the toilet. We managed though. It was what we expected, the price and location were great for our stay on Martha’s Vineyard. It was convenient to the ferry port and there are good restaurants nearby.

Fantastic place with beautiful views, super friendly staff, and a full kitchen in each room. A 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and 1 minute walk from the grocery store. Not cheap but if we could afford it, we'd stay for a week. Any future stays in Martha's Vineyard will be here.

From our check-in to checkout, our experience at the Vineyard Harbor Motel was outstanding. We had a first floor unit, which was great for my sister who has some physical disability. The view of the harbor and the ships was incredible. The staff was amazing, kind, knowledgeable and friendly.

The AC in my unit was out of service, the maintenance man “Nick” came to fix it and told me it would be all set. “Just give it an hour” so I went to dinner and returned it was still just as hot. Went to the front desk and Mike came to check it out.

Two very good restaurants within 100 ft of motel plus net result right across the street. Easy walk into town. Was quite expensive for what it was.

This did not meet our expectations. The bathroom has no ventilation system (such as a fan) and the ceiling tiles for the drop ceiling went into the bathroom and above the shower! And there was water leaking down from them into the shower 50% of the time which means there is definitely mold.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Vineyard Harbor and would absolutely stay here again! The motel looks vintage, but the property and rooms were top-notch. The staff was wonderful and personable. Rooms are different - as each one is owned independently. The room that we stayed in had all that we needed and was decorated in true New England coastal fashion. The motel is on a private beach had a beautiful view of the harbor. With a stop of the free Vineyard Transit Authority nearby, it was quick and easy to see other areas of this lovely island. I cannot wait to go back and stay at Vineyard Harbour!

I've stayed here three times now. The room with the Double bed was large enough for 4 people, along with a kitchen area, full fridge, cooking utensils, pots and pans, sink, microwave, etc. The courtyard is cute, with tables to sit at, free coffee 24/7, and the people at the desk are always super nice. They don't seem to have an ice machine, causing you to have to ask for ice, which isn't that big of a deal, but a bit inconvenient.
The private beach is nice, but the water area is between two large docks, so a smaller swimming area. There are many loungers with umbrellas on the beach with a picnic table and even a grill.
The best thing about this place to me is that they are far less expensive than most every other place on the island, BY FAR. Maybe because they are in Vineyard haven, which is a tiny town and most people want to stay at Oak Bluffs, especially as there's night life there, and much more shopping and restaurants. There is a gas station very close, as well as some shopping and even a supermarket. There's a breakfast place across the street.
