They were excellent hosts and the staff were excellent helping me out lots to find locations and things to do in Rome.

Room was very clean and tidy. The two ladies who worked there were very helpful. It was in a safe area location and close to everything like the Spanish steps and Trevi Foundation. Breakfasts I paid for were excellent - I always had lunch from BreaKfast!

I go back there again and one of the best places I stayed for your money’s value.

This place should really be called Cheap & Moldy - Unsuitable Suites. The property is neglected and sanitation does not exist. Out handheld shower nozzle had mold growing out the holes where the water is coming out. So disgusting. In addition, th hot water does not exist and they also limit your use of the AC system. They have it pre set to what they think the temperature of the room should be. Housekeeping is extremely loud in the early hours of the morning, it almost sounded like construction was going on in the room. It is very overpriced and you are better off staying elsewhere.

The location is fantastic — just minutes from the Spanish Steps (4 minutes), Trevi Fountain ( 6 minutes), and Piazza Navona (17 minutes) However, the A/C wasn’t working properly and couldn’t be fixed. The concierge said the housekeeper would check it, but the issue remained. The hallway was cooler than my room, which felt like a furnace.

The housekeeper did try to check on it but was a bit intrusive and rushed to clean even after I said I needed more time, likely because housekeeping leaves early. It’s understandable since this is a guesthouse, not a hotel, but it did feel inconvenient.

I was also recommended about a rooftop (Terrazza Borromini) but because I asked for recommendations. The rooftop required a reservation a heads-up in advance would have been nice. I work in customer service, so my expectations are high, but if you focus on the excellent location, you’ll still enjoy your stay. The place is overall clean!

We were in walking distance of the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain we got Uber’s anywhere we wanted to go. The people were so nice. They ended up letting us keep our luggage there until we checked out later in the day and they have a sweet little café area upstairs that they let us use the restroom and have coffees and wait for our ride. They also provided transportation from the airport, which was very reasonable. We will stay with him again before we leave Italy.

This hotel was perfect, close to the train station, and really is in the heart of Rome. Things like the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps were 3 minutes away. As a first time traveler the staff were so helpful in helping with directions, suggesting modes of transports, and even called a taxi for us, when we had no idea what to do. Great experience would stay there again!

Great Room. Great Location.
They are setting up the room every day but didn't replace towels (just took the old ones) so we found ourselves with no bath towels (reception is working till 8PM) and used the hand towels. The elevator is not so useful (starting from the middle of the floor and ends in the middle of the second floor). Anyway besides that (not awufel at all) it is a great place to stay.

Friendly and informative staff. Room was cleaned everyday to a really good standard (the cleaner even organised my makeup on the side after leaving it all over). Good location, down the road to the Spanish steps and less than 10 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain. Metro station 5 minutes walk. Only bad thing I would say about the stay was that the rooms weren’t really sound proof, could hear everything outside in the corridor clearly. But it wasn’t a big deal.

Great location. Super safe. Nice shops around as well as beautiful historic buildings and sights.
Reno works happening in hotel so entry a bit dusty with cables hanging out wall etc and some noise during day. Not bad though. Bathroom did have a bit of dust. Our room was very large though for Europe and the sofa bed and cot provided were extremely helpful to have use of. We did really enjoy our stay. Breakfast in the cafe nearby (5 min walk) was okay. Not amazing but decent enough food albeit in a pretty shabby cafe. Overall a pleasant stay.

We really liked this property. We had 4 rooms for 3 nights. Room 204 was very small and the bed was smaller than the others. Room 203 said their room had a slight order. Rooms 206 and 202 were perfect.

The only good thing about hotel is its location. There was a lot of noise in the morning and at night. We didnt have elecricty which means cooling and hot water 1 full day in july. There was a breakfast option which you can buy but you need to walk outside. The cafe serving breakfast is not also very good

The room was great, very clean, very comfortable bed and spacious room with excellent air conditioning! And in a great location. The only complaints we had were the door locks are annoying because you have to turn the key 1.5 times to open the door, then put the key on the other side of the lock and turn it 1.5 times to lock the door. Really annoying and if there was a fire we'd need to find the key to unlock the door first. And there was a family with 3 young kids near our room and they just ran rampant through the halls, yelled in the halls, etc every day until 11pm. The front desk staff never said anything to them about remaining out of respect for other guests.

Did not enjoy my stay at this property at all.
Of course, there could be worse, but I definitely had a hunch before coming that I was not going to enjoy it much based on some reviews.
For one, the best part was the excellent location. The room was not at all impressive, do not be fooled so much by the very clear and nice looking photos. My room looks very much like a motel room. The first night, I noticed that there was blood on the bed cover and so I asked them to please change it, which was done. The shower is incredibly tiny and kept on leaking.
And the room itself wasn’t the cleanest, as when we arrived there was a lot of hair etc on the floor.
If you don’t care too much for your room and like the location, then go ahead, if not, there are definitely much better properties at the same price I paid for this one that offer much more.

Perfect location at a reasonable price. Very simple but when you’re in Rome the hotel needn’t be more than a bed to crash in at the end of the day! Staff was really helpful and they did clean the room every day. We were also able to walk everywhere from the hotel, and breakfast was included which is always nice. I would recommend if you get it at a good price because location is great.

Worst experience of my life!
The rooms AC was not working and this hotel did not give a damn. We stayed 7 nights and paid a premium price for this stupid hotel. Everyday the staff had excuses. Every day they would be like technician is coming, then they were like spare parts are coming then they were like manager/director is coming. But guess what none of that ever happened. Just excuses and stalling.
We asked for another room and they didn't care. We asked for a refund and they would avoid us. They told us to open the windows if it's hot. But it's center of the city it would be too loud to sleep if we kept windows open. And we have a little kid But they don't care obviously.

They eventually made up a story that all the rooms are central AC and every room has the same temp. But again that was a lie we stepped into another room during cleaning and it's AC worked fine. Which of course they had more lies and excuses saying the window for that room is open. It was closed I saw it with my own eyes but they are soooo good at gas lighting.
The bathroom has no vent and the room and bathroom constantly have a fishy smell. The wifi is soooo slow! The pillows were thin and there was no wardrobe or closet to store anything. They don't refill the coffee stuff either.

Our entire trip was such a hassle because of this hotel and we spent so much money for a luxury hotel experience haha no luxury is far from what this was.

A great find!

A really conveniently located hotel with friendly staff and great customer service. A safe and mini bar are available in the room along with a kettle. A coffee machine is available just outside the rooms along with a phone and phone numbers of taxis. They really have thought of everything!!

Nice enough hotel but not really luxury rooms

20 minutes walk from Rome Termini railway station, 5 minutes Spanish Steps, 30 min Colosseum but it will take you longer beause you will go past the Trevi fountain (7 minutes) and the massive marble structure Fatherland which you should stop at.
The opposite way towards the Vatican City will take you past the Pantheon over the bridge to Castel de Angelo then onto St Peters Square and Vatican the furthest being no more than 40min walk and that is going slow.
So the hotel is well positioned for all sites, the room we had was fine but the shower and toilet just a bit small. A nice tray of fruit, toast, biscuits and coffee is waiting for you and on the second floor outside our room was a communal coffee area where you simply help yourself.
Overall a nice enough hotel but I would not call the rooms luxury. Good helpful staff and you can leave bags safely up to 9pm on the day of leaving

Loved this venue! Staff was exceptional and our room was very comfortable. Bed was wonderful. Space was more than adequate in the bedroom. Bathroom was a bit small but adequate. Although a good location, the pictures and description presented by this hotel is misleading. Given two hotels use different floors of the same building it is a bit of a rabbit warren finding the rooms which are basic and decorated frugally.
After contacting the hotel directly with a request for a twin bed room we arrived to be shown a pokey 'cupboard' right across from reception. The double bed was wedged between two walls and you needed small stepladders to climb into it and yes these were provided for your use.
After asking for another room, the staff argued about the booking and then went of to consult a manager. There ensued a Roman debacle. Raised voices, arms flailing and high drama.
After twenty minutes we were presented with another option. A king bed room was available, and a twin bed room would open up the next day.
Later that afternoon, the manager rang to tell us that a mistake was made and the twin room was not available for the next day. We were happy enough with the king bed and although the room small and sparse,it was comfortable.
The following day, while out of Rome on a day excursion, I received an email to say the twin bed room was available and could we bring our luggage down for the change. NO THANKS....we just wanted to get on with our holiday.
It might be time for Chic and Town Luxury Rooms to consider the appropriate customer interactions. We really just wanted smooth entry to a room which we had asked for rather than a lengthy debate.

Entrance was confusing and not clearly marked having 2 separate elevators, floors were extremely filthy and probably not cleaned in weeks, bathroom toilet had cracks all along the wall, staff was ok, area was good. I had to leave to Rome early and stayed at another hotel which was slightly cheaper with rooftop and excellent breakfast included and was sad to get less for more money at this hotel

We arrived to find a well laid out, very practical and extremely quiet room, that was close to everything, and had everything we needed at our fingertips. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, there was a lift so not many stairs. Breakfast just across the road was wonderful, and again wonderful people!
This hotel is a real gem, and a great find.

Con: Backpack style hotel; 2 stars; street was facing street side and people screaming and partying till 4am. Hotel room doesn’t have tissues or do not disturb tag. Toilet seat not even the same size as toilet.

Wonderful experience. The staff was great and the location was ideal - close to Piazza Spagna & Fontana di Trevi. Lots of restaurants nearby and the metro is a few minutes away. The snack amenities in the room and the coffee machine on 24/7 was a nice touch. Highly recommended. I would stay here again next time I’m in Rome.

Centrally located small hotel with lovely rooms

We stayed 4 nights here on our first visit to Rome. Great location for the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. We booked 2 superior rooms both lovely with ensuite bathrooms. Only slight downside is one room has a claw bathtub in the bedroom itself although with a shower head. But you have to sit in the bath to use shower head so not the most practical. Very comfy beds and a tray of snacks provided in room on our arrival. Staff were very helpful with advice on restaurants and booked one for us. Although no breakfast provided there is a small cafe across the road which does delicious fresh orange, cappuccino and croissants. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Cannot beat the location! The room was quite big and had a nice view of the street below and was quite quiet at night with the windows closed. The bathroom was quite clean and the shower was a lovely rainshower. The bed was HUGE in our room which was nice. We loved the small touches- nice soaps, slippers, extra towels and good counter space in the bathroom not to mention an excellent complimentary snack tray in the room. Very nice touch! The only trick was having to coordinate meeting the hostess which is tricky if you don’t have cell service.

Lovely Hotel, Great Location

The hotel is cosy and comfortable, and in a superb location. The only minus point was that there is a lot of building work at an adjacent site, that started at 0700 on a Saturday morning, our only morning there. Clearly this is not the hotels fault, but if you want to sleep in, worth a check.

Walking distance from most attractions

This was an apartment, not a hotel. The apartment was spotless, the bed soooo comfortable, the reason we didn't give straight 5's was that the bathroom was very snug (especially the shower) and cupboard space sparse. The staff however were excellent, assisting us and booking tickets for sites we wanted to visit and trains. Nothing was too much bother for them. The apartment is well positioned with the Trevi Fountains and Spanish Steps a short walk away. The Vatican and Colosseum were a little further but still in easy walking distance. There are so many restaurants you can't fail to find somewhere to eat. I would highly recommend Chic and Town Luxury Rooms.

Outstanding Stay

Staff is helpful and very friendly, wonderful hotel and great experience. Rooms were very clean. Location was wonderful, walking distance to Trevi Fountain, subway (train), shopping and eating. My husband and I with no doubt will return to this hotel when we visit Rome again.

Rome Experience

Nice hotel in a very central location just a few minutes from the Spanish Steps. Great if your
not driving but the car park is a bit of walk up a steep hill so won't be suitable for everyone. The hotel
was very clean and well maintained and the bed super comfy which is just what you need after walking
around Rome all day!
Staff were friendly and happy and always on hand to help.

Don't Be Fooled By Picture OR \"Luxury\" name

First off, don't let the picture or the \"Luxury\" word fools you....I did. I booked a room from Chic & Town over a months ago and (at the time of booking) felt I paid a premium price because of the picture and the name \"Luxury Room\". I was shock when I saw the very small room that I can't walk to the bathroom without turning sideway pass the bed....But the hotel won't let me cancel the reservation since the room was already paid for and cancellation time passed. Contacted Hotel.com but they couldn't do nothing neither. So I ended up staying here for 2 uncomfortable nights.
What kind of hotel that won't let their client cancel the reservation when the room was not the same as the one booked ? As a comparison, this about 100 sq.ft.room was 1.5 time the price of a nearby room of Londra &Cargill Hotel...with more then twice the space. Anyway, beware when booking this hotel.

Great Location

It was a great place to stay, great location, clean room, friendly staff. A few things to improve on would be larger shower. Shower did drip and due to location in the room it was bothersome at night. Bed was comfortable and room was nice and dark.

A wonderful base for your Roman holiday

Perfect location, very near the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, all major sites are within walking distance or a 1.50 euro Metro away. Great nightlife and restaurants in close proximity. The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us tourist and restaurant advice, and the room was excellent. Would recommend highly.

Lovely hotel

Hotel was lovely. I only gave them 24 hours notice to help put a special surprise in for my boyfriends birthday. He was made up to find candles and rose petals scattered around the room, a bunch of flowers and a mini chocolate fondue, all for a decent price too!

Only suggestion is if you're after having lie ins of a morning instead of being out touring, take some ear plugs as you can hear people walking/talking around the reception.
