Hotel is in a great location for getting to all the sightseeing places. Is very clean more then enough storage. I was in a single room and had everything I needed. Free breakfast is an added bonus, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great…only “steps” from the Spanish Steps and maybe 5 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed chatting with other guests during breakfast. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

A mixed experience - a decent hotel with room for improvement.

Positives: Rooms are clean, and the hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast is good and the breakfast staff and cleaners are friendly.

Negatives: Some of the reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. There was no attempt to converse upon check-in (despite there being no language barrier) - we were simply given the room key and that was it. I have travelled to Rome many times before, and showing a little courtesy and politeness is the norm, not the exception.

The rooms lack modern plugs. Charging phones required using the adapter connected to the mini fridge. All the plugs in the room are old fashioned which do not work with modern European charging devices.

The breakfast is good, however, fresh orange juice and eggs come at an extra cost. This can be interpreted as misleading given that the breakfast is listed as being 'free' on third-party websites. I would rather pay for breakfast in which everything is included than have a 'free' breakfast whereby I have to pay for certain options.

This is the first hotel whereby I have had to leave the key at the front desk each time I have gone outside. Not entirely sure of the rationale here.

This is a lovely little hotel. Great location at the top of the Spanish Steps, clean comfortable and warm room (it's January so thats a good thing). Friendly reception with a real person on duty all day. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

As a solo female traveler on my first out of country trip, I am so incredibly fortunate to have picked this hotel. The staff were so friendly, pleasant and professional. The hotel was in a perfect spot, within walking distance of almost everything you could want to do! I walked to the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and the Vatican. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. They offered breakfast every morning in the cutest little cafe in the basement area. The rooms were simple and clean. The staff took extra care to tidy up my room every day. I cannot give enough stars to this place! 100/10 recommend.

We stayed at their suite and we were able to experience New Years at the patio from our room. They are on top of cleanliness and we get fresh bedding and towels each day of our stay. We felt safe and so did our things. It is close to many attractions, food and shopping, yet the street side doesn’t get too crowded and pretty quiet at night. It was an overall great experience. Shout out to Stefano for sharing his smile and being a sweet gentleman.

Worst hotel we have stayed at ever. For an average of $400.00 a night you will expect better. Not worth the money we paid.

The room needs an upgrade or maintenance. The carpet was filthy, needs a very good deep cleaning. The paint in the bathroom was peeling.

The balcony is a hallway, you have to squeeze to be able to sit in the chair at the other end of the table. The Inner Courtyard View looks at a building that looks abandoned.

Air Conditioner does not work in December, just heat. If you want to cool the room you are told to open the Window.

If you want eggs at the included breakfast you have to pay extra.

Positive Points;

Coffee was good and the gentleman attending the breakfast was very nice and attentive.

We found the staff to be extremely accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! We stayed in 3 places during our Italy trip and by far Hotel Gregoriana was the best. Location incredible, close to metro. Room was very clean as they respected our request for daily housekeeping, but issues with the sink leaking and window didn't have a screen to block insects so could not enjoy fresh air. Workers were kind and accommodating. I would come back!

Clean and convenient location, very close to the Spanish Steps and the Spagna Metro Station. Reasonable price (for Rome). Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The climate control system is confusing, and blew too cold. We ended up shutting it off, and simply opening the window, which brought in fresh air, but also much city noise. Breakfast was simple but nice and ample. The guy in charge of the breakfast operation seemed confused and inefficient, but the female attendants were very good. Just hope you get served by one of the women, instead of the guy. Overall though, this hotel was very good, and we would stay there again in the future.

The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. We were able to check in early which was very appreciated, and was a fast check in experience. You get one manual key for the room and you must return it to the front desk whenever you leave the building, but there is someone at the desk 24/7. The elevator is tiny, so if you are on the heavier side like us, I would only use it if absolutely necessary. The room we had was small, but was fine if you just need a place to sleep after being out all day. The pillows were firm, but not uncomfortable. Breakfast was included, but is served to you. The only items kept out are fruit. I only missed breakfast one day (during the open hours) because the attendant was not in the room, but I was still able to get fruit so I did not leave hungry.

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. This was the first hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip, and it was a very pleasant experience.

Hotel Gregoriana is a well appointed hotel in a desirable area just off the Spanish Steps. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The shops in the area are mostly luxury stores but there are many great restaurants to choose from. A very walkable area.

The place was clean. Prior reviews about the breakfast were very overrated. The bed in our room was quite hard and uncomfortable. You have to leave your room key at the front desk when leaving each time you head out which feels odd. The shower was warm and the location was close to many sites of interest. Friendly staff.

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Considering we were staying in a very busy area, we never could tell when we were in the room.

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. They have 24 hour concierge at the door so you have an extra layer of comfort for security.

The location is great because you can jump right to the Spanish steps and down into the main area.

Andrea was very helpful, his best advice was not to take an Uber or taxi from the Airport as the train is very easy to use and only Euro 1.30 per person! Train station is a 10 minute easy walk from the hotel. Even took the 5:10 am train to catch our 8:30 flight out. A great stay for us.

Breakfast was wonderful and staffs were so nice. We stayed #3(it was big enough for 5 of us). Their balcony is extra for us to enjoy.
Most of all, we arrived Rome early, it was nice for us to check in early, we were able to rest till early afternoon.
They brought us wonderful breakfast to our room in the morning, we were able to enjoy breakfast at the patio.
We are definately staying here again!!

The staff was rude the receptionist but the person who was helping us with breakfast was super nice. The room was right next to the reception area I kept waking up from the noise and people talking at night and very early in the morning. The reception guys did not even bother to tell us about breakfast till I asked him at night then I asked him to call taxi for the next morning g he said we will do it next morning my husband went to ask him the next morning it was a different guy he yelled at my husband we were not treated right in this hotel I don’t like the reception staff at all

Great location. Hotel is not as pictured online, even the awning above the door is broken. Carpets are stained, staff is rude-I requested an extra towel upon arrival in early evening after the tour and was told I was too late. Same thing the next day when there was no towel only the clerk was twice as ride. I did finally get a towel from the cleaning crew. Breakfast is continental style, you need to pay extra for protein.
The location is fantastic and the outdoor restaurant options in the area are fantastic.
Overall, recommend spending a bit more at one of the nicer hotels in the area.

I stayed at Hotel Gregoria for four nights with two friends, and our experience was truly fantastic.

One of the best things about this hotel is its location. Everything is within walking distance—we could reach Plaza de España in just three minutes, and shopping, dining, and a grocery store were all nearby. Whenever we needed a taxi, the staff at the lobby arranged one quickly, and we could hop in right at the front door.

Our room was super comfortable and surprisingly quiet, despite being in the center of the city. Breakfast was served at the table rather than buffet style, with a variety of options to choose from, which we really enjoyed.

The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. We had arranged airport transportation through the hotel, and when our flight was delayed, they quickly adjusted the schedule to accommodate us. Their responsiveness and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Hotel Gregoria, and we would love to stay there again when we return to Rome!
