Delightful lobby, breakfast buffet, staff, and rooftop pool, especially. The rest of the property is average at best. If you are staying in the old center of Asunción, the combination seemed right for the price, and area, and I have no regrets about the choice, overall.

Stayed here for 3 nights. I have mix feelings about this hotel. The lobby was nice, had high hopes that the room would be good from what the looby looks like. The room grew on me though. The shower heads needs replacing so badly, very old and lime scale, but it works. The bed was so so comfortable. The bedsheets and towels smell lovely. So well done to the laudry people! The staff were lovely. The breakfast was just ok.
Swimming pool is good especially with the very hot weather.

Very friendly staff, very large room and bed. Wonderfull breakfast, I would guess a family owned hotel with attention to details. I wish I stay longer, but had an airbnb booked. Will definitely come back !

very cold!

good hotel to go anytime but winter, no heating, and it was very cold outside and freezing inside the room, even with the little heater. Halls were close to the South Pole. Clean room and good location though.

Not all the comfort

They changed me from my room twice. So much noise, like hammering the ceilings. Had real bad sleep. One of the rooms was not made it had hair on the bed. The gym was not \"available\", but they fulfilled my requests.

Nice Hotel, Great Stay

It was a great place to stay. My mom and I traveled to Paraguay to visit my brother in the Peace Corps and book the hotel for the entire 8 days we were there. We only stayed in the hotel for 4nights and used it as a base of operations while we traveled to Argentina and my brother's site for work. Our stuff was never touched and the staff made us feel safe and secure both while there and traveling. Plus they have a great breakfast. I completely recommend this hotel.

I love the hotel, the people were extra nice the food was great, I had my laundry done and they did a great job, the people in the front go out of their way to find what you are looking for etc.etc. I'm going to miss them, they made me feel at home especially when you are so far from home

Good stay

The hotel is very good for the price. It has many services like a complete breakfast, swimming pool and a very complete (but old) gym.. The staff is very friendly, especially the girl in the evenings. The hotel is quite close to the city centre (walking-distance), and all the rooms are quite huge (they have a living room and a bedroom)...Don´t expect a modern hotel. It is a 3 star hotel, with some facilities of a 4 star hotel.

OK to an extent, but on a very noisy road.

This is an old hotel and with some old style atmosphere. Its staff are friendly and polite and work hard to keep it as clean and serviceable as possible. Its restaurants are stylish and its food is good. But it's also run down and in need of refurbishment: the biggest issue is poor insulation against traffic noise, the hotel stands on its own block with traffic lights each end, and cars and buses and trucks are noisy when they are stationery at those lights and they are noisy when they are racing past at speed, and this is 15-20 hours every day.

This hotel needs painting, decorating, new beds and a lot more to be ready for 2015-2020. Nice friendly staf but more than out-dated. Make the lobby, restaurant more in line with this time. Colours and modernize. Than I will be back.

For Asuncion centro Hotel Cecilia is a good option, pool is nice but not very well maintained. A few pubs and restaurents around (not many) and the general area is a bit run down. I just wanted a place to sleep with a pool while I brushed up my spanish - hotel Cecila was fine for that.

The hotel staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated, but really fairly nicely kept. The breakfast buffet is superb. The only real problem with this hotel as far as I can see is the noise from the street that begins with incessant honking at about 5:00 in the morning and doesn´t really cease until after 8:00 in the evening. This was once a glorious hotel, but at the price offered for a room will find it hard to compete with the boutique hotels in the city.

- Hotel is clean and spacious, but old. You get an actual key to your room
- Staff is very friendly and helpful
- The room has all the amenities, but you have to pay for each (bathrobes, slippers, etc.)
- The hotel is next a night club, on the weekends they go on until 5am, good luck getting any sleep

We stayed three nights here. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff speak English and are extremely healpful. The restaurant and room service is great! Food is very good. Not Bolsi good but close. If you are in this downtown area be sure to have dinner at Bolsi! It's about 10-15 min walk. Walking distance to the main square and many shops, restaurants and historical sights. Don't know about parking as we rented a car when we left and did not need to park at the hotel.

A very good centrally located family hotel

We booked this hotel because it was centrally located, compact in design and offered an in-house restaurant. These features were important to us, because my wife is walking with difficulty. We found all of this, and a lot more. Above all, the staff was friendly and engaging, the restaurant merits all of its five stars, for its impeccable service and a wide selection of tastefully prepared dishes, which included \"Orange-glazed Duck\"! The hotel facilities included complimentary meeting rooms in which we could work with our clients. Exercise facilities and a small roof-top pool provided for physical well-being.

The WORST HOTEL I have ever been.!!!

Let's start for the lobby. The lobby is so old and bad maintained that you can smell dust and humidity since the moment you open the front door.
The carpet in the lobby is extremely dirty and the decoration is a compilation of old different furniture without any sense.
The room is horrible and match with the lobby conditions.!! What can I say about the bathroom.!! The bathtub is a light brown color, but you can see black spots of mold all around it. I had to take a bath with my flip flops on.!!
Now, be prepare to hear about the breakfast room offered at the first floor. The first morning we went to have breakfast and we found a big cockroach upside down but still alive underneath of one chair. The food was just OK. The next morning we went again to have breakfast and the same cockroach was exactly in the same position.!! Incredible.!!! Unbelievable.!!!
I couldn't wait the moment to leave the hotel. It was really a nightmare.!

En general bien, tuve problema con el agua caliente para el baño, que había un calefón independiente, y había que prenderlo, y nadie había dicho nada, y con el estacionamiento, que me cerraron el paso y tuve que esperar casi media hora para salir.

La habitación es bastante vieja, con alfombras deterioradas y el aire muy viejo y ruidoso. Pero para 2 o 3 noches esta bien, en el lobby del hotel te dan un voucher con el 10% de descuento para el restaurante del hotel el cual después al consumir tuvimos problema con ese descuento ya que nos dijeron que no tenía valides, al final nos dieron el descuentos después de discutir. Muy linda la pileta.

A minha estadia de 09 dias foi considerada satisfatória. O hotel tem funcionários bastante atenciosos e solícitos. Precisa melhorar um pouco o café da manhã. Voltaria a me hospedar lá de novo.
