Our 5-night/6-day stay as a family of four was great! The staff members are FANTASTIC, especially at breakfast where the selections were always fresh and beautifully prepared. The view at breakfast from the rooftop is amazing with St. Peter’s Basilica in the background. We liked the quiet location and so relieved we didn’t book in the more touristy spots in the city which were crazy congested. We walked to most attractions easily. Also wanted to say a big thank you for the cute chocolate eggs the staff gave the children during Easter.

The staff was wonderful and we really loved their breakfast! Really beautiful view and awesome breakfast spread. The only negative thing is that we didn’t know we’d have to pay state and local taxes when we left, so that was an additional 60 Euro that no one told us about when we booked. But other than that, it was a very nice hotel and we were comfortable.

Overall our stay at the Hotel Isa was excellent. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a very large assortment of fresh items, it felt like you were eating in a restaurant. The evening cocktail bar was nice with great ambiance. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is great being close to everything. I would highly recommend this location especially for first time travellers. Overall great experience!

Even before we arrived at the Hotel Isa, the staff was helpful in arranging our airport transfer and making us feel welcome. Without exception, every member of the staff was knowledgeable and kind. The hotel itself is very convenient to neighborhoods including the Centro Storico, Borgo, and San Pietro. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace beats all superlatives. Highly recommended!!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to many major landmarks. The staff was friendly and helpful.

However, the hotel was not as clean as expected, and there was a noticeable odor in the carpet. Another disappointment was that there was no complimentary coffee — you have to pay for it.

Overall, it was an average stay with a great location and nice staff, but some basic amenities and cleanliness could be improved.

Wonderful staff. Fantastic rooftop with BIG breakfast varieties and evening cocktails (full bar). In my opinion, the best location. 10 minute walk from the bustling city center but in the quieter and more easily accessible Prati neighborhood for getting in and out if you need a taxi. Taxi stand is 1 block away. Solid rooms and bathrooms. 10/10 best of all worlds when traveling to Rome for more than 3 days.

Hotel Isa is a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms in the Prati section of Rome- near the Vatican Amir Block or so off the Tiber - within walking distance of many major sites close to Metro and had a great staff breakfast was great the only issues you should be aware of is at the elevator goes up to the fifth floor and the rooftop restaurant for breakfast and bar is on the sixth where you have to walk up one flight to get to but outside of that it’s a great hotel

The room was small and there was a permanent smell to sewage in the room coming from the bathroom. We had to let the window open to air the room. We stay two days and most of the time we were out, thus, we decided to stay and didn’t ask for a room change.

Very convenient location. Walking distance to St. Peter’s basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo. The staffs are very nice. As the platinum member of Expedia I was able to get a room upgrade.

The breakfast is really nice with a lot of selections. The avocado salad is my favorite :)
There are a lot of great restaurants in the area.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Isa. Staff were very nice and helped with getting us taxi and held our baggage after check out so we could get a walk in before heading to
the airport. Not so close to sites
though. Breakfast was very good, and had a nice view of the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica. Thank you!

Friendly staff throughout hotel. Breakfast had a great range of food with staff on hand to cook hot food and make good coffee. The bonus was that the room had a nearby view of the Basilica of St Peter.
The room had a safe and the key was at reception with no charge.
The hotel atmosphere was peaceful and it felt so comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, in a safe neighborhood, close to top restaurants and bars and not far from the Vatican. Far enough from the tourist crowds with easy bus, taxi, metro access to all the tourist sites. Delicious, plentiful, breakfast full of variety. My wife loved the cappuccino and omelet bar. Rooftop breakfast and nighttime bar with a hidden platform for massive panoramic shots of all of Rome!

This is great hotel. It is walking distance to many places, including the Vatican. It also has a great little restaurant/bar at the top where you can get beautiful views of the city and the Vatican. The restaurant serves as the breakfast buffet in the morning. Literally the best breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing experience with this hotel. My mom and aunt encountered bugs and insects in their room, and despite my mom’s multiple requests, the staff refused to change her room due to a claimed full house. The lack of accommodation and professionalism was shocking. Bug bites covered my mom’s body. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid this hotel!!!

Th breakfast was very good and Willy makes a nice cocktail in the evening. The room was incredibly small but not unlike hotel rooms in many cities. The bed was very comfortable.

Following a recent 4 night stay, we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet and modern. Breakfast was substantial, tasty and good quality. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

I would happily return in future.

For location it was about 10-15 mins from castel st angelo, which is about 10 mins from the Vatican. A metro station nearby would make access to central Rome very easy, although we walked everywhere.

My only minor criticism was that the room used paper/disposable cups, which felt a bit beneath the level of quality that the hotel offers. There is presumably a reason for this, but it would have been nice to have proper cups for a coffee.

Hotel Isa was absolutely fabulous!
The entire staff was very nice and helpful. We were allowed to check very early after arriving from a cruise. They sent champagne and snacks to our room. Plus, they arranged for a private car service to take us to the airport the next morning. The full breakfast on the rooftop had everything that your heart desires and the fresh fruit was the sweetest! We enjoyed drinks on the rooftop in the evening and our waiter Willy was the nicest guy. Our room was super clean, roomy and comfortable. I will definitely be staying at Hotel Isa whenever I’m on holiday in Rome again.

My key card stopped working twice and I had to get new ones. One of the times was during a false fire alarm at 4 am that continued for about 30 minutes, and then had to go back down to get the key card fixed again.

The staff was very lovely and the area was great. However, I will stay somewhere else next time.
