ALL the staff at whatever time of the day or night were helpful and courteous. IF you chose to try to speak French, they were patient and helpful, if you asked to speak in English, they were patient and helpful.
The room was always cleaned and ready for our return from the day out. The view from our room - The Cathedral Notre Dame and the Seine made our friends envious.

The room was recently painted or had caulking done which gave off a very strong vapour making us need to keep the window open all night. Bed was not comfortable. Pillows were worn and flat. No hot water from bathroom sink. Insufficient toilet paper provided. Noise from other rooms was remarkable. Location is fantastic, but hotel is rather run down, unfortunately. Staff were nice.

Unfortunately, we aren’t happy with the service. They locked us out, when they claim they have 24/7 front desk service. We were almost late for our train. We were knocking and calling for 20 minutes without knowing when/if they would come back!!

I paid more for the room with Notre Dame view, but they gave me one with a tiny window were you had to open it to look outside, I will attach pictures.

When people were in the corridor you could hear them, we woke up many times. When they opened their door was as if they were opening our door.

The rooms are nicely renovated with good toiletries. Good aircon. Nice and clean.

Their breakfast costs too much for what it is, but quality is ok. Per person they offer 1 croissant, 1 tiny pain au chocolate, 1 other pastry, piece of baguette, jam, 1 yogurt, coffee or tea and juice. You can eat cheaper anywhere around.

Desk staff was great. The view, of course, was great. I wish I could say the room was great. The bed was good, clean linens. But the rest of the room, especially the bathroom, was not especially clean. Carpet wasn't freshly vacuumed. Hairs in the tub, etc. Can't beat view of Notre Dame and location, but it is what it is.

Quirky property. Clean and quiet. Good location. But no elevator from street up to first floor lobby. If you have heavy suitcases, you need to carry them up yourself. No one will help you. Rooms are small, but then most rooms in Paris are small. Staff started out friendly but when I asked how to use the coffee machine, the lady got exasperated and almost threw a fit.

Walkable to most of the major attractions, lots of dining options, and less than a block away from Metro and RERB which goes directly to airport. Also elevator from RERB to street level just steps away so you don’t need to carry your bags up the stairs. Unfortunately didn’t see it until after we arrived

Beautiful view of Notre Dame and so close to Shakespeare and Co as well as the steps from the movie Midnight in Paris. You can hear the commotion of the city but that’s was good. There’s a handheld shower system, also worked out fine. Breakfast is a huge pile of bread and little protein but all delicious. The staff are peaceful, kind, and helpful.

Wonderful views! Pay the extra to get the view room of Notre Dame. Wonderful view from the breakfast, lounge area. Great location to be able to walk to absolutely everything. Very nice staff! Love the design and the decoration of the room and everything is very clean. Of course, rooms are a bit old, floors are a bit wonky and space is a bit small but for the location it’s absolutely perfect.

There are stairs to climb up to the lobby, but an elevator for the upper floors. Only two rooms have showers and the rest have deep tall tubs and are not accessible friendly. The breakfast was on the light side with yougurt and lots of bread and pastry items.

This hotel has the best view of Notre Dame. Our room on the other hand smelled of sour milk. I think this is from the scoops being sold beneath the room. If you are looking for quiet this is not for you. The location is good for access to the Latin Quarter, RER B and Notre Dame. The boat ride on the Seine can be accessed near the Henri IV statue on the Ile de la Cite.

My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff member Henry was particularly rude and unfriendly throughout my stay. I was also unfairly charged for an extra day of breakfast for two people, even though I was the only one who ate. Strangely, my friends who stayed at the same hotel weren’t charged the same. The room itself was very small and uncomfortable. Noise was a constant issue — police sirens and people shouting outside made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

Overall, the stay was great. Loved the location, the front desk staff was wonderful, my room was everything I wanted. The only 2 complaints is that they want you to return your key EVERYTIME you leave the hotel for \"security\" purposes but dont explain what those purposes are or what prompted it to be that way and the other MAJOR complaint is that cleaning service are IMMENSELY rude. When you put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door it is as if they see it and then ignore it. They did it not once, not twice, but 3 times to me over the course of a four night stay, early in the morning! Even after they would ignore the sign, knock and I would say, \"No thank you\" they would continue to knock and try to get into my room. Not ok. Outside of those 2 things, i would stay again for the location alone.

The Hotel Notre Dame was everything that I wanted and hoped for from start to finish. The rooms were just as described and the service and amenities were as advertised. The hotel is across the Seine from the Notre Dame Cathedral and we were able to wake up to the church in the morning. There were lots of attractions within walking distance, even though we walked to everything because we are big walkers. We averaged about 12 miles a day. We also took the metro several times which has a station directly outside of the hotel. This is super convenient, clean and safe and never felt unsafe Around the hotel in the metro or train stations or on the streets of Paris however, it’s just important to be aware of your surroundings and not stop to talk to anyone that is selling. Souvenirs unless you want to be hassled. La Creme de Paris is a little restaurant next to the hotel and it is the best spot for breakfast in the City. The only negative thing that I can say about the hotel is that I’m glad I am average size person. I could barely fit in the bathtub or on the toilet so if my husband had come with me, he would not have been able to use the facilities. He is 6’4 and ~190

The location of this hotel simply could not be beat, at least for my plans on my 3 day trip. It was SO centralized for me. And right off the metro. I ended up getting a double queen room on the 3rd floor with a view of Notre Dame. Talk about a win. I’ve read rooms can be small but I’d say the room I had was very spacious. Walls are pretty thin tho, I couldn’t hear anyone but those opening and closing doors throughout the night felt like my door was opening. I can’t really say anything about the service as I was gone most of the day and didn’t need anything but the front desk was still polite nonetheless. Based on the location itself, I would totally stay here again.

This is a charming hotel! Be prepared to climb stairs, as I didn’t notice an elevator, but the incredible views and central location near restaurants and historic sites make it well worth it. The breakfast is simple yet fresh, and the view from the dining area adds to the experience. The staff was very helpful in storing our bags after checkout so we could continue sightseeing. A very nice Parisian hotel in a fantastic location. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Siene and a metro station only moments away.
Our loft room was very quirky but clean and spacious enough offering great street and cathedral views. Surrounded by plenty of eating places.
As a tallish and cuddly couple the toilet and bathroom presented its challenges as the walls were close and the ceiling sloped. There wasn't a shower but a hand held shower hose attached to the bath.
A traditional French breakfast was on offer so no bacon eggs or toast but still a fulfilling breakfast and all part of the experience.
Despire the challenges of the bathroom we would stay there again.

Perfect location for exploring Paris

The hotel is perfectly located for anyone visiting Paris wanting a central location that has great transport links to airports an all the surrounding sights.

The hotel amenities are a little limited compared to higher priced hotels but for its location you get a completely sufficient breakfast with views of Notre Dame Cathedral.

Ultimately the staff make this hotel an absolute gem in the centre of Paris.

This hotel is right amongst the tourist and restaurant district. Right on top of Notre Dame, Ile de Cite and Ile St Louis, and also on top of a metro/RER station. Eating options are endless. It’s a direct route to and from the airport from here which made travelling around Paris super easy. The main concern for me was that we had three days of cold showers in the middle of winter. The first two days the water would be hot and then after a minute would go cold. The third day there was no hot water at all. The other thing I didn’t like was that the foyer always smelled horribly smoky, but that’s Paris for you, with its more relaxed smoking laws. Because the hotel is in the heart of all the action, it was often quite noisy into the night with sirens and people making noise on the street, but I didn’t mind too much. Make sure you pay extra for a Notre Dame view - it’s beautiful.

The breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view was absolutely incredible! The only downside was our room was on the sixth floor and my husband is 6 foot 3 and the bathroom ceiling was extremely low for using the toilet. Other than that, it was perfection! The bath tub was big and deep and nice hot water. It was walking distance to so many things and the staff were all really nice.

After reading the reviews we had high hopes, however we had booked the Notre Dame room but I don't think that's what we had, but admittedly didn't mention that at the time, the toilet seat was damaged, the pipework wasn't healthy, toilet brush broke, leaking tap, broken sink plug, one bulb was out, scratch on the back of the bathroom wall, one bulb didn't work on bedside lamp, general decoration now looks a bit tired. Staff at breakfast were good, but reception staff not so much, breakfast would be better if a toaster was provided to make toast, which we, as a guest, would happily do ourselves, we had a door to the next room, right next to our door creating noise, noisy in the street, letting in noise through the windows, even when closed. Central location for all attractions was what really saved it. Sorry for this not so favourable review but just didn't live up to our expectations.

The issues I experienced were the WIFI was non-existent on the 6th floor - unusable! … the second was our shower ran out of hot water, and we were simply told - take a shower later. Staying at the Hotel Notre Dame Saint Michel is like staying in a LaCroix designed jewelry box with views onto Notre Dame and the Seine. The Latin Quarter is one of our favorite areas to stay in while in Paris. The area is very central and is some of the oldest in the city. You can walk the cobblestone streets surrounded by the open air museum that is Paris. There is an abundace of good restaurants and they are more afforable than many other areas of the city. Many bucket list destinations are a stones throw away like Shakespeare & Company, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, The Cluny Museum and The Pantheon. Taking an evening stroll along the left bank past the gorgeous bridges and book sellers feels straight out of a film. We can't wait to return! Thank you for providing such a welcoming atmosphere in the worlds most beautiful city.

The hotel was classic parasian. I loved the vibe and decor. Location in a great area, very walkable. The view of the Seine river from our hotel room was amazing.

Be careful - we paid in full on Expedia and when checking out the old tall man with glasses insisted that we hadn’t paid and was trying to shake us down…. He had a printed sheet with our reservation and flipped it over so I couldn’t see it. I had to pull it away from him and point out that it’s been paid in advance. I would not stay here again.

Charming Hotel, beautiful decor, comfortable bed by Seine River in the Latin Quarter with view of Notre Dame Cathedral. Many restaurants, shopping, however no parking, public parking was a distance. Small elevator, made several trips up the elevator to bring in luggage. Had to carry luggage up 1st floor to reach 2nd floor elevator. Staff did not offer to help carry.
